정지성 ( Jung Jisung ),김창봉 ( Kim Changbong ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2010 인터넷정보학회논문지 Vol.11 No.4
최근 복잡한 프로그래밍 환경에서 다수의 프로세스들은 서로 협력하기 위하여 서로 통신하고 자원과 정보를 공유한다. 커널에서는 이것이 가능한 방법으로 프로세스간 통신이라는 IPC(Inter-Process Communication)를 제공한다. Recently multiple process communicate together. They share resource and information for cooperation in complicated programming environment. Kernel provides IPC (Inter -Process Communication) for communication with each other process. Shared Memory is a technique that many processes can access to identical memory area in the Linux environment. In this paper, we propose a performance improvement method of shared memory in the dual-core embedded linux system which is consist of different core and different operating system. We construct the MPC2530F (ARM926F+ARM946E) linux system and measure the performance therein. We attempt a performance enhancement in each CPU for each process which uses a shared memory.
A HYBRID RECONSTRUCTION METHOD IN PARALLEL MRI
Jisung LEE,Yoon mo JUNG,Jin Keun SEO 한국산업응용수학회 2010 한국산업응용수학회 학술대회 논문집 Vol.5 No.1
Last decade, parallel MRI (pMRI) has been made a great deal of attention in MRI due to its important benefit of accelerating image acquisitions by the use of multiple receiver coils and its supplementary spatial information in the image space. In pMRI, we skip phase-encoding lines in the k-space as many as possible during MRI acquisition in order to minimize time-consuming phase encoding step, and in image reconstruction step we compensate the skipped k-space data by the use of space-dependent properties of multiple receiver coils. The goal is to develop a robust and fast reconstruction method using smallest possible data of phase encoding lines, while eliminating aliasing which is a consequence of violating Nyquist criteria due to skipping the data.We develop a reconstruction method with a hybrid sampling which combines SMASH method to fill a part of vacancies in k-space and image processing technique to eliminate aliasing in the image space.

Purpose: As the visual expression cue that can easily reveal and imprint the brand image to consumers becomes more important, franchise coffee shops are making various efforts to establish design elements and brand identity. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the structural model between design elements, brand identity, brand association, brand personality, and brand image of franchise coffee shops from various angles, and to suggest a plan for using visual elements makes a brand image on the franchise in the future. Research design, data, and methodology: This study tests the structural relationship between design elements, brand identity, brand association, brand personality, and brand image of franchise coffee shops. design elements are divided into three attributes (interior design, product design). And brand identity is divided into two attributes (brand name, brand symbol/logo). In order to achieve the purposes of this research, research model and hypotheses were developed based on previous researches. All constructs were measured with multiple items developed and tested in the previous studies. The data were collected from 380 customers who visited franchise coffee shops and were analyzed through SPSS 26.0 and SmartPLS 3.0 statistical package program. Result: As a result of this study, first, it is confirmed that product design has a positive effect on brand association toward coffee shops. Second, interior design and product design have a positive effect on brand personality. Third, all brand identity have a significant positive impact on brand association and brand personality. Finally, brand association and brand personality of coffee specialty shops have a positive effect on brand image. Conclusions: The following implications of this study are as follows. This study is confirmed that there is an effect of design elements attributes and brand identity attributes on brand association and brand personality. And, the brand image was found to be influenced by brand association and brand personality. This suggests that it can be used to establish visible marketing strategies for franchise coffee shops. Therefore, it is necessary to further improve efforts to raise the level of the brand image through visual factors such as unusual interior design, product packages.
Investigation on Cryogenic Refrigerator and Cooling Schemes for Long Distance HTS Cable
Jisung Lee,Cheonkyu Lee,Sangkwon Jeong,Jiho Park,Si Dole Hwang,Hyung Suk Yang,Se Yong Jung,Ji Hyun Lim Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers 2015 IEEE transactions on applied superconductivity Vol.25 No.3
<P>High-temperature superconducting (HTS) cable is one of the most prospective superconducting technologies for its low electric power transmission loss and high power density. One difficulty of practicing this technology is maintaining the HTS cable at a cryogenic temperature approximately at 70 K. The types of cryogenic refrigerators are briefly reviewed to apply in long-distance HTS cables. Recuperative-type refrigerators, such as Brayton and Joule-Thomson (JT) refrigerators, are more appropriate to satisfy the required high cooling power. The theoretical reliability of the newly proposed dual mixed refrigerant (DMR) JT refrigerator is analyzed. The cycle configuration of the DMR JT refrigerator is more complex than that of a Brayton refrigerator; however, the degradation of reliability was not significant. Furthermore, a remote operation apart from the compressor is possible in the JT refrigerator without moving components inside the cold box. This is the most desirable characteristic for long-distance HTS cable cooling. Finally, the advantage of using an oxygen and nitrogen mixture as the circulating coolant is discussed. The number of cooling stations can be reduced in a long-distance HTS cable by lowering the coolant feeding temperature.</P>
Suppressed neural complexity during ketamine- and propofol-induced unconsciousness
Wang, Jisung,Noh, Gyu-Jeong,Choi, Byung-Moon,Ku, Seung-Woo,Joo, Pangyu,Jung, Woo-Sung,Kim, Seunghwan,Lee, Heonsoo Elsevier 2017 Neuroscience Letters Vol.653 No.-
<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Ketamine and propofol have distinctively different molecular mechanisms of action and neurophysiological features, although both induce loss of consciousness. Therefore, identifying a common feature of ketamine- and propofol-induced unconsciousness would provide insight into the underlying mechanism of losing consciousness. In this study we search for a common feature by applying the concept of type-II complexity, and argue that neural complexity is essential for a brain to maintain consciousness. To test this hypothesis, we show that complexity is suppressed during loss of consciousness induced by ketamine or propofol. We analyzed the randomness (type-I complexity) and complexity (type-II complexity) of electroencephalogram (EEG) signals before and after bolus injection of ketamine or propofol. For the analysis, we use Mean Information Gain (MIG) and Fluctuation Complexity (FC), which are information-theory-based measures that quantify disorder and complexity of dynamics respectively. Both ketamine and propofol reduced the complexity of the EEG signal, but ketamine increased the randomness of the signal and propofol decreased it. The finding supports our claim and suggests EEG complexity as a candidate for a consciousness indicator.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> A reduction of complexity may be a common feature of unconscious state. </LI> <LI> Complexity-randomness analysis was performed on the electroencephalogram. </LI> <LI> Ketamine (propofol) increased (decreased) the randomness of neural dynamics. </LI> <LI> Complexity decreased in both ketamine- and propofol-induced unconsciousness. </LI> </UL> </P>
