        스마트 기기를 활용한 역진행 자유탐구 수업이 초등학생의 디지털 리터러시, 21세기 핵심 역량, 과학적 태도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of free inquiry lessons utilizing flipped learning with smart devices on digital literacy, 21^{st} century skills and scientific attitude of 5th graders of elementary school.The subjects of this study were two different 5^{th} grade classes in J elementary school located in B metropolitan city. Free inquiry lessons utilizing flipped learning with smart devices were applied to experimental group,whereas comparison group was taught general free inquiry lessons using ordinary teaching materials. The results of this study were as follows: First, free inquiry lessons utilizing flipped learning with smart devices were statistically meaningful on students’ digital literacy. Second, free inquiry lessons utilizing flipped learning with smart devices were not statistically meaningful on students’ 21^{st} century skills. Third, free inquiry lessons utilizing flip teaching with smart devices were not statistically meaningful on students’ scientific attitude. Fourth,free inquiry lessons utilizing flipped learning with smart devices caused an effectiveness on students’ interests.

      • 한국 농업용 하천수 및 지하수 모니터링 현황

        농촌진흥청에서는 각 도 농업기술원과 공동으로 지난 2000년부터 2020년까지 농업용수 수질조사를 실시해 오고 있다. 이 수질조사사업은 친환경농업육성 및 유기식품 등의 관리·지원에 관한 법률에 근거하여 추진하는 것으로 하천수의 경우 농업농촌유역의 하천 최말단을 조사지점으로 하여 전국 300지점의 농업유역을 대상으로 하천수의 수질을 조사하고 있다(제주제외). 조사시점은 각 도별 농업유역의 대표지점을 선정하였고, 조사시기는 벼재배 시기에 맞춰 이앙전인 4월, 재배중인 7월, 수확후인 10월을 조사시기로 하여 연간 3회, 총 900점의 수질시료를 채취 분석하고 있다. 또한 지하수의 경우 논, 밭, 시설재배지를 대상으로 전국 200지점을 선정하여 수질조사를 실시하고 있다. 상대적으로 지하수를 이용하여 관개를 많이 하는 시설재배지를 50%, 논 25%, 밭 25%비율로 조사지점을 지정하였다. 농업용 소관정의 경우수확 후에는 지하수를 활용하지 않는 경우가 많으므로, 연 2회(4월과 7월)에 한하여 조사를 실시하고 있다. 최근 3년(2017∼2019)간 수질을 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 하천수의 경우 평균 수질 항목중 pH는 3개년도 모두 동일하게 7.6을 보여주고 있었으며, 환경정책기본법 시행령 제2조, 하천수의 수질기준(농업용수, Ⅳ등급)에서 제시하고 있는 수질기준(6.0∼8.5)을 벗어나는 비율은 2.9∼4.1%로 조사되었다. 연평균 BOD의 경우는 1.6∼1.7mg/L의 범위를 나타내고 있었으며, 농업용수 수질기준(8mg/L) 초과율은 0.4∼0.7%인 것으로 조사되었다. T-P는 0.09∼0.1mg/L로, 기준(0.3mg/L)을 초과비율은 3.6∼5.2% 인 것으로 조사되었다. SS는 6.3∼14.1mg/L로, 기준(100mg/L)을 초과하는 지점은 없는 것으로 조사되었다. 지하수의 경우 pH는 6.9∼7.0을 보여주고 있었으며, 지하수의 수질보전 등에 관한 규칙 제11조, 지하수의 수질기준(농업용수)에서 제시하고 있는 수질기준(6.0∼8.5)을 벗어나는 비율은 0∼2.4%로 조사되었다. 연평균 NO3-N의 경우는 5.30∼6.68mg/L의 범위를 나타내고 있었으며, 농업용수 수질기준(20mg/L) 초과율은 2.2∼4.5%인 것으로 조사되었다. Cl은 25.7∼25.8mg/L로 나타났으며, 기준(250mg/L)을 초과하는 지점은 없는 것으로 조사되었다. 하천수와 지하수의 중금속항목 등에서 전반적으로 수질농도는 수질기준 이내인 것으로 조사되었다. 하천수 수질 조사 결과, 시기별 수질은 일시적인 기온, 가뭄 등의 계절성변동에 따른 영향이 있었으나, 하천수와 지하수의 수질은 농업용수로서의 이용에서 작물생육과 안전성에는 문제가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

        Overexpression of mutant HSP27 causes axonal neuropathy in mice

        <P><B>Background</B></P><P>Mutations in heat shock 27 kDa protein 1 (HSP27 or HSPB1) cause distal hereditary motor neuropathy (dHMN) or Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 2 F (CMT2F) according to unknown factors. Mutant HSP27 proteins affect axonal transport by reducing acetylated tubulin.</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>We generated a transgenic mouse model overexpressing HSP27-S135F mutant protein driven by Cytomegalovirus (CMV) immediate early promoter. The mouse phenotype was similar to dHMN patients in that they exhibit motor neuropathy. To determine the phenotypic aberration of transgenic mice, behavior test, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), electrophysiological study, and pathology were performed. Rotarod test showed that founder mice exhibited lowered motor performance. MRI also revealed marked fatty infiltration in the anterior and posterior compartments at calf level. Electrophysiologically, compound muscle action potential (CMAP) but not motor nerve conduction velocity (MNCV) was reduced in the transgenic mice. Toluidine staining with semi-thin section of sciatic nerve showed the ratio of large myelinated axon fiber was reduced, which might cause reduced locomotion in the transgenic mice. Electron microscopy also revealed abundant aberrant myelination. Immunohistochemically, neuronal dysfunctions included elevated level of phosphorylated neurofilament and reduced level of acetylated tubulin in the sural nerve of transgenic mice. There was no additional phenotype besides motor neuronal defects.</P><P><B>Conclusions</B></P><P>Overexpression of HSP27-S135F protein causes peripheral neuropathy.       • Enhanced Plasmonic Particle Trapping Using a Hybrid Structure of Nanoparticles and Nanorods

        <P>Plasmon-enhanced particle trapping was demonstrated using a hybrid structure of nanoparticles and nanorods. In order to intensify localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR), gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were deposited on zinc oxide nanorods (ZnONRs). The synergistic effect caused by the hybrid structure was identified experimentally. Numerical analysis revealed that the LSPR-induced photophysical processes such as plasmonic heating and near-field enhancement were improved by the existence of ZnONRs. The role of the ZnONR in enhancing the particle-trapping velocity was explored by examining the scattered electric field, Poynting vector, and temperature gradient over the nanostructures calculated from the simulation. It was found that polystyrene microparticles and <I>Escherichia coli</I> cells were successfully trapped by using the ZnONR/AuNP plasmonic structure. A relatively high dielectric constant and nanorod geometry of ZnO enabled the hybrid substrate to enhance trapping performance, compared with a control case fabricated using only gold nanoislands.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>

        학습자 중심 수학 수업이 학생의 추론 능력과 학업성취도에 미치는 영향: 초등학교 4학년 분수 및 다각형 단원을 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to confirm the influences of learner-centered instruction on learners’ achievement and reason ability. In order to accomplish them, the fraction unit and the polygonal unit in the fourth grade were implemented with teaching methods and materials suitable for learner-centered mathematics instruction. Some conclusions could be drawn from the results as follows: First, learner-centered mathematics instruction has a more positive effect on learning of learned knowledge and generating unlearned knowledge in the experimental period than teacher-centered instructions. Second, learner-centered instruction makes an influence of low learning ability on getting achievement positively. Third, as the experimental treatment is repeated, learner-centered instruction has a positive effect on students’ reasoning ability. The reasoning ability of students showed a difference in the comparison between the experimental group and the comparative group, and within the experimental group, there was a positive effect of the extension of the positive reasoning ability. Fourth, it can be estimated that the development of students' reasoning ability interchangeably affected their generation test results.

        고추의 생산과정에서 발생하는 탄소배출량 산정 및 전과정평가

        고추생산체계에 대한 탄소성적을 평가하기 위하여 노지재배 (건고추)와 시설재배 (풋고추)로 구분하여 LCI database 구축하고 전과정 영향평가를 통한 잠재적 환경영향을 평가하였다. LCI 구축을 위한 영농 투입량과 배출물 산정결과 고추 1 kg 생산의 비료 사용량은 노지재배가 2.55E+00 kg kg<SUP>-1</SUP> redpepper로 시설재배의 7.74E-01kg kg<SUP>-1</SUP> greenpepper 보다 많았다. 농약 투입은 노지재배와 시설재배가 각각 5.38E-03 kg kg<SUP>-1</SUP> redpepper, 2.98E-04 kg kg<SUP>-1</SUP> greenpepper으로 노지재배에서의 농약투입량이 훨씬 높았다. 고추생산 중 대기로 배출된 CO₂, CH₄, N₂O의 합은 노지고추가 5.84E-01 kg kg<SUP>-1</SUP> redpepper, 2.81E+00 greenpepper로 시설고추가 높았다. 고추 생산체계에 대한 탄소원단위성적 산정결과 노지재배가 4.13E+00 kg CO₂-eq. kg<SUP>-1</SUP> redpepper, 시설재배 풋고추가 4.70E+00 kg CO₂-eq. kg<SUP>-1</SUP> greenpepper였다. 시설재배 (풋고추)는 CO₂발생량이 많았고, 노지재배 (건고추)는 CH₄와N₂O 발생량이 많았다. 전과정 영향평가 결과 GWP의 특성화값은 노지재배가 4.13E+00kg CO₂-eq. kg<SUP>-1</SUP>, 시설재배가 4.70E+00 kg CO₂-eq.kg<SUP>-1</SUP>이었고, GWP범주에 대한 기여도는 노지재배가 약 52%, 시설재배 약 48%로 거의 비슷하였다. LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) carried out to estimate carbon footprint and to establish of LCI (Life Cycle Inventory) database of pepper production system. Pepper production system was categorized the field cropping (redpepper) and the greenhouse cropping (greenpepper) according to pepper cropping type. The results of collecting data for establishing LCI D/B showed that input of fertilizer for redpepper production was more than that for greenpepper production system. The value of fertilizer input was 2.55E+00 kg kg<SUP>-1</SUP> redpepper and 7.74E-01 kg kg<SUP>-1</SUP> greenpepper. Amount of pesticide input were 5.38E-03 kg kg<SUP>-1</SUP> redpepper and 2.98E-04 kg kg<SUP>-1</SUP> greenpepper. The value of field direct emission (CO2, CH4, N2O) were 5.84E-01 kg kg<SUP>-1</SUP> redpepper and 2.81E+00 greenpepper, respectively. The result of LCI analysis focussed on the greenhouse gas (GHG), it was observed that the values of carbon footprint were 4.13E+00 kg CO2-eq. kg<SUP>-1</SUP> for redpepper and 4.70E+00 kg CO2-eq. kg<SUP>-1</SUP> for greenpepper; especially for 90% and 6% of CO2 emission from fertilizer and pepper production, respectively. N2O was emitted from the process of N fertilizer production (76%) and pepper production (23%). The emission value of CO2 from greenhouse production was more higher than it of field production system. The result of LCIA (Life Cycle Impact Assessment) was showed that characterization of values of GWP (Global Warming Potential) were 4.13E+00 kg CO2-eq. kg<SUP>-1</SUP> for field production system and 4.70E+00 kg CO2-eq. kg<SUP>-1</SUP> for greenhouse production system. It was observed that the process of fertilizer prodcution might be contributed to approximately 52% for redpepper production system and 48% for greenpepper production system of GWP.

        Association of IL-13 polymorphisms with leukotriene receptor antagonist drug responsiveness in Korean children with exercise-induced bronchoconstriction

        BACKGROUND: IL-13 is a pivotal cytokine in allergic inflammation and bronchial hyperresponsiveness, and is known to influence leukotriene levels. OBJECTIVE: We investigated whether IL-13 polymorphisms may be associated with clinical phenotypes and drug responsiveness to the leukotriene receptor antagonist (LTRA) in Korean asthmatic children with exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB). METHODS: We enrolled 242 normal controls and 374 patients with asthma. Of the asthmatic patients, 100 performed exercise challenge tests before and after receiving montelukast (5 mg/day) for 8 weeks and included 80 subjects in drug responsiveness analysis. We assessed IL-13 polymorphisms (−1512A/C, −1112C/T, +2044G/A) through PCR–restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis. RESULTS: Significantly higher total IgE levels and maximum percent fall in forced expiratory volume in 1 s (FEV1) (%) after exercise challenge test were found in asthmatic patients carrying one or two copies of the IL-13 +2044A versus those homozygous for +2044G (P=0.011 and 0.040, respectively). We further noted a correlation of total IgE with maximum percent fall in FEV1 (%) in asthmatic patients, as well as a reverse correlation with improvement of maximum percent fall in FEV1 (%) after exercise challenge tests. Finally, we observed a significant association between responsiveness to montelukast and IL-13 −1112C/T polymorphism and the haplotype of IL-13 polymorphisms. CONCLUSION: The IL-13 +2044G/A polymorphism may be associated with atopy and EIB severity in Korean children with EIB, and thus could potentially be considered as a disease-modifying gene. Moreover, the IL-13 −1112C/T polymorphism and the haplotype of IL-13 polymorphisms seem to be associated with LTRA drug responsiveness, and thus might prove useful as a target for modulation of LTRA drug responsiveness.
