        본 연구는 차량 주변을 지능적으로 감시하는 자동차 주변 감시시스템에 관한 것으로, 자동차의 주행 및 주차 시 속도의 변화나 운전자의 요청에 의해 자동차 주변 지역에 관한 시야를 상황에 따라 달리하여 모니터링 함으로써 운전자가 안전한 주행 및 주차를 수행할 수 있게 하기 위한 것이다. 그러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 차량의 주변부를 감시하기 위하여 차량의 외곽에 설치된 카메라의 각도가 지면으로부터 차량의 상부를 향하는 방향으로 변경될 수 있도록 제어하는 제어부, 카메라의 영상을 입력받아 차량주변의 영상을 생성하는 영상처리모듈, 영상처리모듈에서 생성된 영상을 출력하는 디스플레이를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 지능형 자동차 주변 감시시스템을 제안한다. This study is on a vehicle surroundings monitoring system, which enables a driver to travel and park safely by monitoring vehicle surroundings, depending on the speed of vehicle and driver's control when traveling and parking. To achieve the aforementioned purpose, we propose an intelligent vehicle surroundings monitoring system, which consists of a control part, an image processing module and display module. Hence, the control module controls angle of camera to turn upward from the bottom to monitor vehicle surroundings. The image processing module merges the received images from cameras with the original vehicle image to display the vehicle’s surroundings in real time as if looking down from the sky.

      • 알레르기 피부 반응 검사시 판독 시간에 따른 팽진의 크기 변화

        There have been several positive criteria for skin prick test, which has been most commonly used in the diagnosis of allergic diseases. Among them, comparing wheal size induced by allergen to that induced by histamine is logical for criteria of skin prick test positivity. We measured the wheal sizes induced by histamine and various causative allergens with five minutes interval, from 5 minutes to 40 minutes, and compared of the time which the wheal size of both reached at peak. The followings were the summary of the findings. 1. Maximal sizes of wheals induced by histamine reached at 12 minutes in average. 2. Maximal sizes of wheals induced by allergens reached at 15 minutes in average. 3. There was no statistical difference between the time of maximal size of wheal induced by histamine and causative allergen.

      • 여드름양 발진에서의 말라쎄지아 포자 검출 빈도에 관한 연구

        Steroid acne and pityrosporum folliculitis have similar clinical manifestations. So it was not casy to do differential diagnosis of these two diseases. We have tried to find out the different points between these diseases in clinical characteristics, positive rate of the malassezia spores, and their response to antifungal agents. We studied 21 patients with acneiform eruptions which were distinct from acne vulgaris. Patients were divided into two groups by steroid treatment history. Among 21 patients, 6 were administered steroid just before eruption and 15 were free from steroid within 6 months. We have examined malassezia spores with 10% KOH/Parker blue black ink mount from papules, pustules and comedones according to the patients skin lesions. The malassezia spores detected in 5 paticnts(83.3%) in the former and 9 patients(60%) in the latter. In malassezia folliculitis, the frequency of which showed above the (3+) score of malassezia spore under microscopy was higher than in steroid acne. Mean duration of the disease was 70.4 weeks in latter group, which was longer than 5.2 weeks of the former group. And there were some differences between two groups in the distribution of the lesions. Mean treatment duration was same in two groups (4 wks, 3.5 wks). Steroid acne patients would be treated better with antifungal agents than with acne regimens.

      • 손가락 끝 점을 이용한 손 형상 인식

        최근 사용자 친화형 유저 인터페이스 구현을 위해 인간의 손 형상을 실시간으로 인식하는 연구의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 그러나 인간의 손은 자유도가 크기 때문에 손 형상을 정확히 인식하기란 매우 어렵고 또한 피부색과 유사한 색을 가지는 복잡한 배경에서는 더욱 곤란하다. 본 논문에서는 별도의 센서를 부착하지 않고 카메라를 사용하여 피부색 정보에 의한 손 형상을 분할한 후 손가락 끝 점을 찾는다. 찾은 손가락 끝 점을 이용하여 방향을 탐지하는 알고리즘에 대해 기술한다. 이 방법은 템플리트 매칭을 이용하여 손가락 끝 점을 탐색한 후 찾은 손가락 끝 점과 손목의 중심을 이용하여 전, 후, 좌, 우 방향을 탐지한다. 제안하는 방법을 이용하여 3D 가상현실 공간에서의 네비게이션(Navigation)에 응용하였으며, 실험결과 전진, 후진 및 좌측, 우측의 방향전환도 매우 좋은 결과를 보였다. 또한 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 마우스, 키보드, 조이스틱 등의 조작 없이 전, 후, 좌, 우 방향전환을 사용자가 직관적으로 지시함으로써 보다 자연스러운 인간과 컴퓨터의 상호작용을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

      • 내시경적 역행성 췌담관조영술중 췌선방 조영 후 발생한 중증 췌장염 1예

        내시경적 역행성 담췌관조영술 후 발생한 급성췌장염의 발생인자로 여러 가지 인자들이 관여하지만 특히 담췌관조영술 시행 후 과도한 췌선방 조영화에 의한 중증의 췌장염 증례를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다 Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) has been considered as a valuable tool for the diagnosis and management of disease of the pancreas and biliary tree. Post-ERCP pancreatitis is the most frequent and clinically significant complication following ERCP. But a few complication associated with this procedure are unforeseeable. Specially, acinarization as a result of a careless cooperation between operator and assistant may be influenced in complications of ERCP. Severe post-ERCP pancreatitis is rare complication, and its prognosis will be poor. Therefore, careful process and good relationship between operator and assistant in ERCP may be prevented this complication, but is not clear. Neglect of acinarization may be resulted in more aggravation of pancreatitis. We have cared for one patient with severe post-ERCP pancreatitis with pseudocyst after water-soluble contrast media spreading into the acini (acinarization) via ERCP in resolving phase idiopathic pancreatitis.

        Although autopsy studies indicated metastatic thyroid invlovement in up to 24 % of patient who die of disseminated carcinoma, it has not been reported that adenoid cystic carcinoma spread to the thyroid gland. Because metastases to the thyroid gland are not detected in clinical practices in most case and their primary sites and histologic subtype are not easily identifiable, the prognosis is poor when metastatic cancer to the thyroid gland occurs. In any patient who has the history of previous malignancy, the evidence of weight loss and bulging mass on anterior neck, a new thyroid mass should be considered malignancy until proved otherwise by FNA biopsy. We experienced the case of a patient presented with increasing dyspnea disguised as asthma apparently due to adenoid cystic carcinoma metastasized to the thyroid gland, which caused fixed obstruction. We present this case with a review of literatures.

      • The Application of Marine X-band Radar to Measure Wave Condition during Sea Trial

        The visual observation of wave condition depends on the observer's skill and experience. Also, the environmental conditions such as light and cloud heavily influence the visual measurement. In the speed test of sea trial, the wave measurement should be objective and accurate. In this paper, the problems of visual measurement and their effects on speed test are described. To overcome those problems, we developed the wave measurement system using commercial marine X-band radar, WaveFinder. The system installed at inland base was calibrated by waverider buoy and then the system's operability was defined. Onboard tests had also been performed three times for formal wave measurement to correct the ship speed. The results illustrated very good agreement with visual observation by experts. It can be concluded that the system would be useful to measure wave and swell information for the sea trial, irrespective of day and night.

        Low Complexity Synchronizer Using Common Autocorrelator for DVB-S2 System

        This paper presents an efficient synchronizer architecture using a common autocorrelator for Digital Video Broadcasting via Satellite, Second generation (DVB-S2). To achieve the required performance under the worst channel condition and to implement the efficient H/W resource utilization of functional synchronization blocks, we propose a new efficient common autocorrelator structure. The proposed architecture can decrease about 92% of multipliers and 81% of adders compared with the direct implementation. Moreover, the proposed architecture has been thoroughly verified in XilinxTM Virtex IV and R&STM SFU (Signaling and Formatting Unit) broad-cast test equipment.

        The Spatial Distribution of Quercus mongolica and Its Association with Other Tree Species in Two Quercus mongolica Stands in Mt. Jiri, Korea

        Stand structure and spatial associations of the dominant tree species in Quercus mongolica stands were investigated to understand interspecific relationships and the persistent dominance of Q. mongolica. We examined the species composition, DBH (diameter at breast height) distribution, and spatial distribution of trees (${\geq}\;2.5\;cm$ DBH) in two permanent $100\;m\;{\times}\;100\;m$ plots in Q. mongolica-dominant stands on the western part of Mt. Jiri. Ripley's K-function was used to characterize the spatial patterns and associations of dominant tree species. Q. mongolica showed a continuous and reverse-J shaped DBH distribution with clumped spatial distribution in both study sites. Q. mongolica and Abies koreana exhibited a negative association implying potential interspecific competition. The positive spatial association between Q. mongolica and Alnus hirsuta var. sibirica and Fraxinus sieboldiana were affected by site characteristics: limited habitat conditions with a large proportion of rock surface. Our results suggest that interactions among species were complex and ranged from positive to negative. Differences in stand and site characteristics and regeneration mechanisms among the species play an important role in regulating their spatial distribution patterns, while competition between individuals also contributes to spatial patterning of these communities. The high density and the early developmental stage of spatial distribution and structural characteristics of Q. mongolica and the relatively low importance values of other species in the stands imply that Q. mongolica will remain dominant in the study sites in the near future.
