      • 行列多項式 Liapunov 函數 構成에 依한 誘導電動機의 安定度 解析

        非線形 시스템을 나타내는 狀態空間의 動特性 모델로부터, 定常狀態 값들이 알려지면, 行列多項式에 依해, Scalar Type의 Liapunov 函數를 構成하고 이를 誘導電動機의 安定解析에 適用시킨다. 線形 시스템에 對한 Liapunov 函數의 構成法은 잘 알려져 있으나, 非線形 시스템의 Liapunov 函數 構成法은 아직 體系化되어 있지 못하다. 따라서, 本 論文에서는, 從來의 定常狀態 附近에서의 Taylor 展開에 依한 線形化 技法에 依存하지 않고, 非線形性을 나타내는 項을 分離하여, 行列變換시킴으로서, 線形시스템의 Liapunov 函數 構成法을 살리고, 非線形性이 强한 誘導電動機의 狀態空間모델에 適用시켰다. 그 結果, 求해진 安定領域은, 線形化에 依한 것보다는 훨씬 넓은 5次元의 超空間으로 表現되는 誘導電動機의 漸近安定領域이 되었다. In this paper, when the steady state values for multidimensional and nonlinear Dynamic Models of State Space Representations are given, Liapunov functions of scalar types using matrix quadratic polynomials are constructed by Special Matrix Transformation Techniques and are applied to Stability Analysis of Induction Motors. Futhermore, Liapunov function construction precedures for linear systems can be specified in detail. But, unfortunately, for nonlinear systems, there are no the complete construction techniques. In this paper, differently from conventional methods using Linearization obtained from Taylor series expansions about steady state operating points. Linear terms and nonlinear ones are individually seperated, and by special matrix transformation techniques, similiar construction procedurs such as in the cases of linear systems, are introduced, and are applied to Stability Analysis of Induction Motor. The hyperspaces of multidimensional stability region, obtained from these techniques, were larger than the obtained ones from conventional linearlization techniques about equilibrium points and were assured to be Asymptotic Stability Region ensuring the stable operation of Induction Motor.

        We carried out a study on phytoplankton community at Owon stream, Jeollabukdo, Korea. The author have examined 83 taxa of the phytoplankton from researched area. These were composed of 5 classes, 11 orders, 21 families, 44 genera, 79 species, and 9 varieties. The composition of occurrence species were as follows: green algae are 48.2%, diatoms are 33.7%, blue green algae are 10.8% and etc(7.3%). Dominant species were Chlamydomonas angulosa, Pandorina morum, Coelastrum microporum, Scenedesmus quadricauda, Staurastrum gracile, Melosira varians, Me. italica, Synedra ulna, Sy. acus, Cocconeis placentula, and Cymbella tumida. The standing crops varied from 1,650cells/ℓ to 47,000cells/ℓ. Phytoplankton density of Owon stream were lower about 8.6 times to a 1,531 times than those of other lakes and rivers in Korea. So, to preserve the water quality in Owon stream we have to manage continuously on the nitrogen and phosphorus.

We can think of two basic directions to take which are specialization in the basic investment trust business and acceptance of universalization including the securities business. Considering the current situation of domestic financial industry, a scheme of having a securities company as the mother company while seperating the investment trust business as its subsidiary would be particularly beneficial.

        저장기간에 따른 3개 수종의 종자 및 발아 특성 변화

        This study was conducted to examine the changes in the seed physical characters and germinative properties of three tree species at three different storage times in order to determine the most suitable storage time and condition. Seed physical characters and germinative properties were examined from seeds of Fraxinus rhynchophylla, Zanthoxylum schinifolium and Staphylea bumalda that were stored at -18C for 1, 3 and 10 years, and the growth performance and physiological characters of their seedlings were analyzed. Seed physical characters and germinative properties showed significant differences between three storage times as well as three tree species. Seed moisture content of F. rhynchophylla and S. bumalda and seed fresh weight of Z. schinifolium decreased with increase of storage time. Storage time represented negative correlation with moisture content and fresh weight (r = -0.822, p < 0.01). Seed percent germination of Z. schinifolium and S. bumalda stored for 3 and 10 years decreased less than 15% and 10.7% respectively. Mean germination times for seed of F. rhynchophylla, Z. schinifolium and S. bumalda were delayed 11.9, 5.7 and 9.7 days after a storage time of 10 years, respectively. However the growth and viability of seedlings didn't show a special pattern for storage time and tree species.

        Pathogenomics of Streptococcus ilei sp. nov., a newly identified pathogen ubiquitous in human microbiome

        Viridans group streptococci are a serious health concern because most of these bacteria cause life-threatening infections, especially in immunocompromised and hospitalized individuals. We focused on two alpha-hemolytic Streptococcus strains (I-G2 and I-P16) newly isolated from an ileostomy effluent of a colorectal cancer patient. We examined their pathogenic potential by investigating their prevalence in human and assessing their pathogenicity in a mouse model. We also predicted their virulence factors and pathogenic features by using comparative genomic analysis and in vitro tests. Using polyphasic and systematic approaches, we identified the isolates as belonging to a novel Streptococcus species and designated it as Streptococcus ilei. Metagenomic survey based on taxonomic assignment of datasets from the Human Microbiome Project revealed that S. ilei is present in most human population and at various body sites but is especially abundant in the oral cavity. Intraperitoneal injection of S. ilei was lethal to otherwise healthy C57BL/6J mice. Pathogenomics and in vitro assays revealed that S. ilei possesses a unique set of virulence factors. In agreement with the in vivo and in vitro data, which indicated that S. ilei strain I-G2 is more pathogenic than strain I-P16, only the former displayed the streptococcal group A antigen. We here newly identified S. ilei sp. nov., and described its prevalence in human, virulence factors, and pathogenicity. This will help to prevent S. ilei strain misidentification in the future, and improve the understanding and management of streptococcal infections.

        Entecavir+tenofovir vs. lamivudine/telbivudine+adefovir in chronic hepatitis B patients with prior suboptimal response

        Background/Aims: Suboptimal responses to lamivudine or telbivudine plus adefovir (LAM/LdT+ADV) rescue therapy are common in patients with LAM-resistant hepatitis B virus (HBV) infections. We compared patients switched to entecavir plus tenofovir (ETV+TDF) to those maintained on LAM/LdT+ADV. Methods: This prospective randomized controlled trial examined 91 patients whose serum HBV DNA levels were greater than 60 IU/mL after at least 24 weeks of treatment with LAM/LdT+ADV for LAM-resistant HBV. Patients were randomized to receive a new treatment (ETV+TDF, n=45) or maintained on the same treatment (LAM/LdT+ADV, n=46) for 48 weeks. Patients with baseline ADV resistance were excluded. Results: Compared to LAM/LdT+ADV group, ETV+TDF group had more patients with a virologic response (42/45 [93.33%] vs. 3/46 [6.52%], P<0.001) and had a greater mean reduction in serum HBV DNA level from baseline (-4.16 vs. -0.37 log10 IU/mL, P<0.001). Multivariate analysis indicated that high baseline HBV DNA level (P=0.005) and LAM/LdT+ADV maintenance therapy (P=0.001) were negatively associated with virologic response. At week 48, additional ADV- or ETVassociated mutations were cleared in ETV+TDF group, but such mutations were present in 4.3% of patients in LAM/ LdT+ADV group (P=0.106). The two groups had similar rates of adverse events. Conclusions: ETV+TDF combination treatment led to a significantly higher rate of virologic response compared to LAM/ LdT+ADV combination treatment in patients with LAM-resistant HBV who had suboptimal responses to LAM/LdT+ADV regardless of HBV genotypic resistance profile (NCT01597934).

      • Changes of HBsAg Quantity and its Relation with HBeAg Seroconversion Following 48 Weeks Pegylated-interferon-alpha Treatment in Patients with HBeAg Positive Chronic Hepatitis B after Long Term Nucleos(t)ide Analogue Maintenance Therapy; Roll Over Trial

        Aims: Durable post-treatment response is uncommon in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) on nucleos(t)ide analogue (NA) therapy. The aim of this study is to investigate pegylated interferon (PegIFN) after long term NA therapy might enhance the antiviral efficacy leading to HBeAg seroconversion and eventually HBsAg loss and/or seroconversion. Methods: The patient with HBeAg-positive CHB who had been treated with any NA except telbivudine at least 72 weeks, who have an undetectable HBV DNA (<400 copies/mL) at least 48 weeks, were randomised 1:1 to receive PegIFN alfa-2a 180 ug/week or previous NA for 48 weeks. The primary endpoint was change in log<sub>10</sub> HBsAg titer during antiviral therapy (Clinical-Trials.gov: NCT01769833). Post treatment HBsAg titer analysis was performed at every 12 weeks until 96 weeks after end of 48 weeks of PegIFN alfa-2a or NA therapy. Results: Total 150 patients were randomized; 75 received PegIFN alfa-2a. On treatment HBsAg decline from 24 to 48 weeks and was significantly higher in patients who switched to PegIFN alfa-2a than those who continued NA and maximal difference of HBsAg titer was shown at 36 weeks (mean±SD, 0.378±0.572 vs. 0.013±0.241; P< 0.001). However, during follow-up period, this difference in HBsAg titer was disappeared and HBsAg titer became similar between two groups (HBsAg titer at 144 weeks: mean±SD, 0.221±0.526 vs. 0.196±0.163; P=0.243). HBeAg seroconversion was significantly higher in patients receiving PegIFN alfa-2a during [21.2% (14/66) vs 9.7% (5/69) at 48 weeks; P=0.026] and after treatment [28.4% (19/67) vs 8.5% (5/59) at 144 weeks; P=0.006]. HBsAg loss was observed in one patient receiving PegIFN alfa-2a during follow-up period. On-treatment HBV DNA elevation rate ( > 2000 IU/mL) was significantly higher in patients who switched to PegIFN alfa-2a than those who continued NA and its difference was maximal at 48 weeks [35.8% (24/67) vs. 0% (0/65); P<0.001)]. Antiviral treatment was restarted for patients with PegIFN alfa-2a when HBV DNA was elevated with or without ALT flare [92.3% (60/65) at 72 weeks and 95.4% (62/65) at 96 weeks]. Only treatment with PegIFN alfa-2a was significantly associated with HBeAg seroconversion at 48 weeks (P=0.026). PegIFN alfa-2a was well-tolerated. Conclusions: This final analysis showed that, for patients who achieve virological suppression with oral NA, switching to a 48 weeks PegIFN alfa-2a treatment significantly decrease HBsAg titer and increases rates of HBeAg seroconversion. However, HBV DNA elevation was developed frequently during treatment and decrease in HBsAg titer was not maintained during post-treatment follow-up.
