CITIS(Contractor Integrated Technical Information Service) is a contractor's developed service to provide electronic access and/or delivery of contractually required information. CITIS satisfies one of the major CALS objectives to furnish a single-entry point for authorized access to contractor-generated Contract Data Requirement List(CDRL) data. A critical requirement for the practical implementation of the CITIS concept is the ability to access multiple existing heterogeneous databases in a fashion transparent to the CITIS user. In this paper, we will propose a prototype system model for CITIS, and discuss the system architecture of proposed CITIS system as a global information management system for distributed and heterogeneous local information systems. Furthermore, we will discuss about the required server module and using-scenario of proposed CITIS system.
토끼에서 근육주사시 입자 크기에 따른 amoxicillin의 비교 약물동태학

To investigate the pharmacokinetic difference between the two amoxicillin (AMX) particles in rabbits after intramuscular injection (i.m.), both of AMX-S (particle size: 10 ㎍) and AMX-L (particle size: 100 ㎍) were injected into New Zealand White rabbits (1.2±0.3 ㎏) at a dose rate of 10 ㎎/㎏ of body weight. In this study, serum AMX concentrations were detected by microbiological assay with E. coli BE 1186 which shows high antibiotic sensitivity. After i.m. administration, AMX-S and AMX-L were best fitted as 1-compartment model with the absorption and elimination phase. The biological half-life (T_1/2, _k10) of AMX-S is 4.06±1.09 h and that of AMX-L 4.76±0.69 h. The serum maximal concentration time (T_max) of AMX-S and AMX-L were 0.88±0.17 h and 0.77±0.11 h, respectively. Maximal AMX concentration (C_max) (AMX-S: 5.71±0.62 ㎍/㎖, AMX-L: 5.04±0.25 ㎍/㎖) in serum showed a significant difference (p<0.05). In terms of bioequivalance, however, there was no difference between the two AMX's after i.m. injection in the basis of C_max and AUC.

In this paper, muti-currents distrubution PCB antenna is designed and fabricated using the theory based on KPCS herical antenna. I propose modified meander antenna structure which has herical antenna gain profile with easy installation on the handset of mobile phone. Design frequency is 1.8㎓ that is a center frequency of Korea PCS frequency band, return loss variances due to change of antenna structure as length are simulated. By measurement, compared to the herical antenna, both of the single and the dual modified meander antenna have VSWR < 1.5, maximum gain of 2.53~1.28㏈ for KPCS frequency band.

The interaction between the flow fields and the cylinder motion is examined quantitatively. Analysis on a pulsed impinged jet with 3D-PTV system and 6D-Motion Tracking system was made. A pulsed round jet was impinged on a flexible plate and the flow field near the plate was measured with a 3D-PTV system while the motion of the flexible plate was measured with 6D-Motion Tracking system. The measurement system consists of four cameras, a light source (Ar laser) and a host computer. The flow field has been resolved at 500 ㎐ with 1k × 1k pixels with horizontal and vertical cuts of the flow field. The Reynolds number with the nozzle diameter with mean exit velocity was about 20,000. The results obtained by the fully time- and space-resolved measurement can provide unprecedentedly large amount of information from which not only the statistical quantities but also the time evolution of turbulence structures is extracted.
Prediction of Rice Embryo Proteins using EST-Databases

An attempt was made to link rice embryo proteins to DNA sequences and to understand their functions. One hundred of the 700 spots detected on the embryo 2-DE gels were microsequenced. Of these, 28% of the embryo proteins were matched to DNA sequences with known functions, but 72% of the proteins were unknown in functions as previously reported (Woo et al. 2002). In addition, twenty-four protein spots with 100% of homology and nine with over 80% were matched to ESTs (expressed sequence tags) after expanding the amino acid sequences of the protein spots by Database searches using the available rice EST databases at the NCBI (http://www/ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/) and DDBJ (http://www.ddbj.nig.ac.jp/). The chromosomal location of some proteins were also obtained from the rice genetic map provided by Japanese Rice Genome Research Program (http://rgp.dna.affrc.go.jp). The DNA sequence databases including EST have been reported for rice (Oryza sativa L.) now provides whole or partial gene sequence, and recent advances in protein characterization allow the linking proteins to DNA sequences in the functional analysis. This work shows that proteome analysis could be a useful tool strategy to link sequence information and to functional genomics.
