In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.

<P>In the course of searching for bioactive secondary metabolites from marine fungi, TMC-256C1 was isolated from an ethyl acetate extract of the marine-derived fungus <I>Aspergillus</I> sp. SF6354. TMC-256C1 displayed anti-neuroinflammatory effect in BV2 microglial cells induced by lipopolysaccharides (LPS) as well as neuroprotective effect against glutamate-stimulated neurotoxicity in mouse hippocampal HT22 cells. TMC-256C1 was shown to develop a cellular resistance to oxidative damage caused by glutamate-induced cytotoxicity and reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation in HT22 cells, and suppress the inflammation process in LPS-stimulated BV2 cells. Furthermore, the neuroprotective and anti-neuroinflammatory activities of TMC-256C1 were associated with upregulated expression of heme oxygenase (HO)-1 and nuclear translocation of nuclear factor-E2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) in HT22 and BV2 cells. We also found that TMC-256C1 activated p38 mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPK) and phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K)/Akt signaling pathways in HT22 and BV2 cells. These results demonstrated that TMC-256C1 activates HO-1 protein expression, probably by increasing nuclear Nrf2 levels via the activation of the p38 MAPK and PI3K/Akt pathways.</P>

Polyesteramide(PEA) was prepared by the polymerization of caprolactam and 6-amino-caproic acid with oligomer of polyethylene terephthalate, which was prepared by the reaction of terephthalic acid with ethylene glycol, and characterized by melting point, molecular weight and whiteness. The results are summarized as follows. (1) Molecular weight has no relation to melting point of PEA. (2) Molar fraction of caprolactam of stoichemistry has no relation to molecular weight of PEA. (3) Melting point of PEA decreased with the molar fraction of oligoester of stoichiometry and was still lower than that of polyethylene terephthalate. (4) Whiteness of PEA decreased with the molar fraction of oligoester of stoichiometry and superior to that of PEA from hexamethylenediamine and oligoester, in respect of whiteness.
二重 Silicon Gate NMOS 工程을 利用한 2K EPROM 製作 및 測定

2K bit EPROM array and test patterns were fabricated by double poly silicon-gate NMOS technicue. The channel length and width of the EPROM cell were 6㎛ and 12㎛, respectively. The operation of peripheral circuits was simulated by SPICE and the expected results were compared with experimental results. The optimal conditions of cell for programming were the drain voltage of 15-17V, gate voltage of 19-21V and the width of programming pulse of 30-35㎳, respectively. At that time, the threshold voltage was shifted from 1.6V(in erased state) to 9.4V (in programmed state).
Greedy 알고리즘을 이용한 라이브러리 맵핑에 관한 연구

본 논문은 원천 컴포넌트의 기능보다 목표 컴포넌트의 기능이 적을 경우 목표 컴포넌트로 동일한 기능을 수행하는 Greedy 알고리즘을 제안하였다. Greedy 알고리즘은 각 컴포넌트의 함수를 비교하여 목표 컴포넌트에 부족한 기능을 수행할 수 있는 잉여 로직을 추가하여 맵핑하는 알고리즘이다. 예제로 선정한 원천 ALU는 3개의 산술기능을 갖고있고 목표 ALU는 2개의 산술기능을 갖고 있는 컴포넌트이다. 본 논문의 Greedy 알고리즘을 이용하여 동일한 기능을 수행하기 위하여 맵핑된 결과 2×1 MUX 1개와 인버터 1개가 추가되어 동일한 기능을 수행하였다. 따라서 실제의 시스템을 구현할 때 CAD 물상에서 라이브러리가 제공되지 않을 경우, 본 논문에서 제안한 HLLM 기술을 이용하여 기본적으로 제공되는 라이브러리를 이용하여 동일한 기능을 수행할 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to apply and test lifestyle concept in the field of sports behavior research. The AIO(Activities, Interests, and Opinions) approach is used to operationalize the lifestyle concept. Questionnaires containing 63 AIO statements are admistered to a total 600 members of a private sport club in Busan. 452 usable questionnaires were returned, resulting in a response rate of 75.3%. The sampling was chosen by the stratified random sampling Method. Analysis Method was used factor analysis to identify. The overall structure of club member's lifestyle the main result of the study : There exist eight factors representing dimensions of club member's lifestyle, there are named as sensitive of fashion, preference of Brend, Achievement, stability directed, self-confidence, Nihilism, Health-Conscious, self-affirmative.
Profile Index에 따른 Panelipse Ⅱ 放射線 像層의 變化

This research was made to investigate the change of the image layer and of the vertical and horizontal magnification on the Panelipse radiographic image by the control of profile index. Using the Panelipse, a series of 60 exposures were taken with the steel balls placed in the holes of the plastic model plate, and then evaluated by 4 observers. Two points were assigned for a reading of sharp, one for middling sharp, and zero for unsharp. Each ball image then could be given a total reader score of 0 to 8. The author analyzed the image layer as defined by a sharpness score of 6 or more. The resutls obtained were as follows: As the profile index was increased, the shape of the image layer was not changed, and the width of the image layer was increased, and the position of the layer shifted away from the rotation center. As the profile index was increased, the ranges of vertical and horizontal magnification was increased, especially the ranges of horizontal magnification was greater than that of vertical magnification.

The purpose of this study is to investigate an The analysis Healthy in bestow ability for Sports Activity by University Students, Proper degree of sports, For the study 323 sports and 333non-sports participation were selected(totaled 656 university students 342, college students 314). statistical analysis techniques for this study included , mean & standard deviation, x² test, analysis of variance ANOVA. Based on findings of these analysis the results of the study are as follow: First, the totality high awareness in physical and politics. Second, a level of healthy is humanity(34.9%), natural science(47.6%), art and Physical education(65.9). Third, there were differences on 0.l% differences on 0.01% social, value of heresy, value of education, value of culture, as well there were differences on 1% value of life style. Fourth, there were 53.6% personally awareness of health in participation for sports and personally awareness of weakness in sport participation 5.6%, sport nonparticipation 12.9%.
