        To study the influence of phase change of solution and fluid flow on low temperature in thermal storage, solar pond and removal of oil pollution at the sea, an experimental study was carried out in the square cavity filled with stratified fluids of silicone oil and aqueous sodium chloride. In the case of the lower cooling surface, the temperature of the system was dominated by conduction owing to the temperature and concentration fields stabilized by gravity. Liquid superheat influenced less in the lower part and the maximum density of sodium chloride became lower as the salt concentration got higher in the upper part. And the lower the initial temperature in the system the lower the temperature distributions were. When the actual liquid temperature was lower than the liquidus temperature with Ci = 15%, a supercooling phenomenon was observed But with Ci = 5% and Ci = 10% the actual liquid temperature was higher than the liquidus temperature and the temperature of upper fluid also got lower when the concentration of sodium chloride became lower. The influence of latent heat was less in the lower part and the raising ratio in temperature was higher when the initial concentration was lower in the upper part.

        기계중복과 셀간 이동수의 최소화가 가능한 예외적 요소의 제거 방법 : 비용 및 설치대수 제약 고려

        Using the concept of cellular manufacturing systems(CMS) in job shop manufacturing system is one of the most innovative approaches to improving plant productivity. However. several constraints in machine duplication cost, machining capability. cell space capacity. intercell moves and exceptional elements(EEs) are main problems that prevent achieving the goal of maintaining an ideal CMS environment. Minimizing intercell part traffics and EEs are the main objective of the cell formation problem because it is a critical point that improving production efficiency. Because the intercell moves could be changed according to the sequence of operation, it should be considered in assigning parts and machines to machine cell. This paper presents a method that eliminates EEs under the constraints of machine duplication cost and cell space capacity attaining two goals of minimizing machine duplications and minimizing intercell moves simultaneously. Developing an algorithm that calculates the machine duplications by cell-machine incidence matrix and part-machine incidence matrix. and calculates the exact intercell moves considering the sequence of operation. based on the number of machine duplications and exact intercell moves. the goal programming model which satisfying minimum machine duplications and minimum intercell moves is developed. A linear programming model is suggested that could calculates more effectively without damaging optimal solution. A numerical example is provided to illustrate these methods.

      • 敎會 會計制度 改善에 관한 硏究 : 서울 J교회 사례를 중심으로 Focusing on Youngju

        With the growth of churches, the scale of church finance has become larger, so the church accounting system should be changed for that reason. The role of church accounting is to classify the economic and financial activities of a church as a business account, and record and arrange them accordingly. And it also analyzes, verifies and reports the results. Church accounting is non-profit, budgetary, fund, and cash basis accounting. This study analyzed the case of "J church" in Seoul (Presbyterian church, unified) and focused on the financial reporting of the church accounting system. Through this research, some problems in church accounting system were identified as follows. First, a single entry bookkeeping system should be changed into a double entry system because nowadays churches are becoming larger. Second, accounting information should be open to the public especially to the congregation and an internet homepage should be created. Third, church accounting principle article 18 should be changed really. Fourth, the method of depreciation should be presented. Fifth, church accounting should be audited in order to certify that all the activities of the church are performed according to the regulations. Finally, the standards of foreign exchange accounting should be established so that we can coordinate an effective financial program with our missionary activities abroad. The suggestions listed above are ways to remove factors of waste and to effectively manage the church properties.

      • 구개편도에 발생한 결핵

        Tonsillar tuberculosis, almost always secondary to pulmonary tuberculosis is very rare disease in otolaryngologic fields. Authors have experienced a case of tonsillar tuberculosis associated with miliary pulmonary tuberculosis. The patient had cough, sputum and sore throat for 1 month. On physical examinations, palatine tonsils were slightly hypertrophied, smoothly surfaced, but crypt ulceration or patches were not seen. Diffuse discrete nodules were seen in both lung fields by simple chest X-ray. In high resolution computed tomography, miliary tuberculosis was suspected and in pleural needle biopsy, granulomatous inflammaiton was diagnosed as tuberculosis. AFB smear of sputum was two positive. Histopatholoigic finding of right tonsil was consistent with tuberculosis. He was cured of it with antituberculosis medications for one year. We report the case with review of the literatures.

        염수분무 환경에서 알루미늄-크롬 용융도금강판의 부식생성물이 내식성에 미치는 영향

        The effect of corrosion products of hot-dip Al-Cr steel sheet on the corrosion resistance were investigated. The results of XRD and XPS measurements showed that there was not found a hydroxide type corrosion product on the surface of aluminized steel after salt spray test(SST) but there was found some cracks in the surface layer which accelerates corrosion during SST. In Al-Cr coated steel case, the main phase of the corrosion products after salt spray test was found to be Al(OH)₃. The polalization curves of aluminized steel after SST shows that there was no passivation layer. For the Al coated layer, a porosity in the Al-oxide film on the surface layer leads to preferential corrosion. After the Al coated layer was completely removed, the Al_(5)Fe₂layer was selectively corroded and then, the steel substrate was exposed to the electrolyte. However, the polalization curves of Al-Cr coated steel after SST shows that the passivation layer was formed, which could increase the corrosion resistance of Al-Cr coated steel. In case of the Al-Cr coated layer, the densely covered hydroxide layer of Al(OH)₃and the intermetallic compound layer of Al_(13)Cr₂became a barrier against further corrosion after the Al layer was removed. In this case, corrosion was not proceeded even through the same current density. The densely covered hydroxide of Al(OH)₃and the intermetallic compound layer of Al_(13)Cr₂were considered to be one of the reasons of high corrosion resistance for Al-Cr coating.

      • 소아 만성 부비동염에서 단순촬영상과 OMU CT상의 비교

        Most commonly and widely used diagnostic tool for chronic paranasal sinusitis in children is plain X-ray check not only because of small radiation dose and easy performance, but because of low cost. However ostiomeatal unit computed tomography(OMU CT) was known to be more accurate and recommended recently by many physicians. The author have studied for both OMU CT and plain X-ray of paranasal sinuses and compaird their findings in 90 chidren(180 sides of sinus) aged from 4 to 14 years who suspected having sinusitis. OMU CT was taken after plain X-ray examination (Caldwell's view, water's view, lateral view), and the time interval betweeen these two examination was O to 14 days (average 4.7 days). The following results were obtained. Considering that OMU CT was accurate, the rate of correspondence in diagnosis of sinus pathology between plain X-ray and OMU CT was 48.3% in the ethmoid sinus, 51.1% in the maxillary sinus, 41.9% in the sphenoid sinus, 43.4% in the frontal sinus. If all OMU CT findings had been accurate, the incidence of false positives according to plain X-ray was 25.5% in the ethmoid sinus, 28.3% in the maxillary sinus, 70.8% in the spenoid sinus and 77.8% in the frontal sinus. While, the incidence of false negatives according to plain X-ray was 85.9% in the ethmoid sinus, 70.5% in the maxillary sinus, 50.0% in sphenoid sinus and 37.5% in the frontal sinus. A routine preoperative OMU CT is recommended, which allows a detailed evaluation of pathologic changes and anatomical relations of the paranasal sinuses before surgical interventiaon for the paranasal sinuses. Considering the above facts, diagnosis of pediatric sinusitis only by plain X-ray was inadequate and OMU CT was necessary.

      • 진균성 부비동염의 임상적 고찰

        The fungal sinusitis is relatively rare and mainly develops in immunocompromised hosts, but is sporadically appears in the immunocompetent patients, where its incidence tends to be increasing. Because the clinical features of this disease are similar to those of chronic suppurative sinusitis, this entity may be overlooked. We analysed thirteen fungal sinusitis from January 1997 through December 1999 based on clinical features, laboratory characteristics and operative findings. The results are as follows. 1)Fungal sinusitis occurred 3.3 times as frequently in female patients as in male patients and the peak age groups are 4th and 5th decades. 2) The time intervals between the onset of symptoms and the first hospital visit were as follows: 5 cases within 3 months, 1 case between 4 and 6 months, 3 cases between 7 and 12 months, and 4 cases over 1 year. 3) The chief complaints were nasal obstruction, postnasal drip, rhinorrhea, cheek pain, headache, ocular pain, sneezing. 4) The characteristic computerized tomographic findings were hyperattenuated lesions in the maxillary sinus and in the nasal cavity near the natural ostium. 5) The most common pathogen was Aspergillus(92.3%) 6) We performed Caldwell-Luc's operation only in 4 cases, Caldwell-Luc's operation with intranasal ethmoidectomy in 3 cases, Caldwell-Luc's operation with endoscopic sinus surgery in 3 cases and endoscopic sinus sugery only in 3 cases. 7) Most of the gross specimens revealed a fungus ball containing a black-brown necrotic debris or caseous material.

      • 진해 일대 조류의 종 다양성

        본 연구은 진해항 일대의 조류상을 조사ㆍ분석한 것이다. 조사는 2001년 12월부터 2002년 4월까지 28회를 조사하였다. 센서스 기간 중 총 61종의 조류를 조사 지역내에서 관찰할 수 있었으며, 연 55,115개체가 관찰되었다. 종수의 합계와 총 개체수 그리고 종별ㆍ개체별 출현 빈도에서 유도된 종 중요도는 불은부리갈매기[0.58], 괭이갈매기[0.14], 흰죽지[0.12], 고방오리[0.07], 민물도요[0.07], 참새[0.06], 재갈매기[0.06]가 중요한 종으로 나타났다. 월별 최대 관찰 개체수는 2001년 12월에 46종 5,993개체를 관찰하였으며, 2002년 1월에 37종 7,105개체, 2월에 37종 8,837개체, 3월에 38종 4,106개체, 그리고 4월에 32종 2,819개체를 관찰하였다. 종 풍부도는 4월에 가장 높게 나타났으며, 종 다양성과 균등도는 1월이 가장 높게 나타났다. 월별 종의 유ㆍ무와 개체수를 비교하여 양방향 유사도를 분석한 결과 2월과 3월의 조류 군집이 유사한(0.69: Pearson Correlation Index) 것으로 나타났고, 다음으로 1월(0.617), 12월(0.522)로 12, 1, 2, 3월이 하나의 cluster를 형성하고 있었으며, 4월이 틀린 cluster를 형성하고 있다. 수금류, 섭금류, 갈매기류, 참새류 등 4가지 중요 군집으로 구분하여 개체수를 비교한 결과 66%가 붉은부리갈매기 외 3종의 갈매기류였고, 21%가 혹부리오리 외 13종의 수금류, 7%가 붉은머리오목눈이 외 21종의 참새목, 5%가 흰물떼새 외 5종의 섭금류, 1%미만의 맹금류, 논병아리류, 가마우지류의 조류로 나타났다. We investigated the abundance and local distribution of birds, in four areas of the jinhae. Data were collected from four areas in the jinhae from 2001 to 2002. In this study, 55115 individual birds of 80 species were censused. We evaluated important species with abundance of birds were as follows: Black-headed Gull[0.58], Black-tailed Gull[0.14], Pochard[0.12], Pintail[0.07], Dunlin[0.07], Tree Sparrow[0.06], and Herring Gull[0.06]. The number of species and individuals in each month were recorded as follows: 5993 individual birds of 46 species in December(2001), 7105 individual birds of 37 species in January(2002), 8837 individual birds of 37 species in February, 4106 individual birds of 38 species in March, 2819 individual birds of 32 species in April. In study period, the april was the highset richness(R' =0.60) and the January was the highest diversity(H'=2.08) and evenness(E5=0.52) with an expected species number of E[S_(818)]=29. Pairwise similarity declined with increasing distance between recording month and recording month from two different clustered separately in a UPGMA cluster tree. Comparison of population variable at 4 sites of 4 classes was compared as follows: 1.Gull(66%), 2. Waterfowl(21%), 3. Passerine(7%), and 4. Wader(5%).
