The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of happiness and depression in menopausal women based on exercise participation. The subjects were 40 women, which was divided into two groups, this is, exercise group & non-exercise group to menopausal women. The attained data was analyzed the difference it by independent t-test and Levene's test. The results of the study can be attained in the followings; First, it was shown the significant, difference between exercise and non-exercise group, about the thoughts and feelings of depression. Second, it was shown the significant, difference between exercise and non-exercise group, about the activity and interpersonal of depression. Third, it was shown the significant, difference between exercise and non-exercise group, about the thoughts and feelings of happiness. Fourth, it was shown the significant, difference between exercise and non-exercise group, about the activity and interpersonal of happiness.

The dried stem bark of Albizia julibrissin was extracted in 70% aqueous EtOH, and concentrated extracts were partitioned with EtOAc, n-BuOH, and $H_2O$, successively. From the EtOAc fraction, three triterpenoids were isolated through repeated silica gel and octadecyl silica gel column chromatography. Based on nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry (NMR), mass spectrometry, and infrared spectroscopy spectroscopic data, the chemical structures of the compounds were determined to be lupeol (1), betulinic acid (2), and oleanolic acid (3). This was the first report in which compounds 1, 2, and 3 were isolated from the stem bark of A. julibrissin. Since the NMR data for some compounds have been incorrectly or incompletely identified in previous literature, the NMR were revised on the basis of 2-D NMR experiments. Compounds 1, 2, and 3 showed inhibition activity on ACAT-1 with values of $89.3{\pm}3.7%$, $61.2{\pm}3.4%$, and $52.5{\pm}0.7%$, respectively, at a concentration of $50\;{\mu}g/mL$ and on ACAT-2 with values of $44.3{\pm}2.1%$, $55.5{\pm}0.3%$, and $22.0{\pm}2.6%$, respectively, at a concentration $50\;{\mu}g/mL$.

Background: Infusion methods during regional analgesia using perineural catheters may influence the quality of postoperative analgesia. This study was conducted to compare the effects of combined or bolus-only infusion of 0.2% ropivacaine on the postoperative analgesia in interscalene brachial plexus block (ISBPB) with perineural catheterization. Methods: Patients scheduled for arthroscopic rotator cuff repair were divided into two groups, one that would receive a combined infusion (group C, n = 32), and one that would receive intermittent infusion (group I, n = 32). A perineural catheter was inserted into the interscalene brachial plexus (ISBP) using ultrasound (US) and nerve stimulation, and 10 ml of 0.2% ropivacaine was administered. After the operation, group C received a continuous infusion of 4 ml/h, and a 4 ml bolus with a lockout interval of 60 min. Group I received only a 4 ml bolus, and the lockout interval was 30 min. Postoperative pain by the numeric rating scale (NRS) and the forearm muscle tone by the manual muscle test (MMT) were checked and evaluated at the following timepoints: preoperative, and postoperative 1, 4, 12, 24, 36, and 48 h. Supplemental opioid requirements, total consumed dose of local anesthetic, and adverse effects were compared between the two groups. Results: Sixty-four patients completed the study and the postoperative values such as operation time, time to discharge, and operation site were comparable. There were no differences in NRS scores and supplemental opioid requirements between the two groups. The MMT scores of group I at 4 and 12 h after surgery were significantly higher than those of group C (P < 0.05). The total consumed dose of local anesthetic was significantly lower in group I than in group C (P < 0.05). The adverse effects were not different between the groups. Conclusions: The bolus-only administration of 0.2% ropivacaine provided a similar analgesic effect with a lower total volume of local anesthetic and decreased motor weakness compared to combined infusion. Therefore, bolus-only administration is an effective postoperative analgesic method in ISBPB with perineural catheterization after rotator cuff repair. (Korean J Pain 2015; 28: 210-216)

본 연구는 국내 자생하는 진달래속(Rhododendron) 종들의 종자 휴면유형 분류 및 발아특성 구명을 목표로 하였다. 진달래속 종들의 배는 형태적휴면(MD)이 없는 완전히 발달된 직선(linear) 형태였으며, 만병초 및 꼬리진달래 종자는 탈리 시점에 이미 휴면이 없는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 반면에 털진달래 종자는 population 수준에서 부분적으로 생리적휴면(PD)을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 털진달래의 이러한 생리적휴면 (PD)은 외생 지베렐린(GA3) 1,000mg・L-1 처리를 통해 타파될 수 있었다. 그러나 4℃에서의 저온층적처리는 털진달래 종자 휴면 타파에 효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 종합적으로 판단 했을 때, 진달래속(Rhododendron) 종들의 적정 발아 환경조 건은 광조건・25/15℃(만병초), 암조건・20/10℃(꼬리진달래), 광 조건・25/15℃(털진달래)로 확인된다. 진달래속(Rhododendron) 에서의 종간 차이(interspecific variation)로 인해 모든 종이 종자 휴면유형 또는 발아특성에서 구별이 되었다. 본 연구는 국내 자생하는 진달래속(Rhododendron) 종들의 생리・생태 특성을 이해하는 데 이용될 수 있을 것이다. This study aimed to clarify the germination characteristics and seed dormancy type of three Rhododendron species (R. brachycarpum, R. micranthum, and R. mucronulatum var. ciliatum) native to Korea. The embryos of three Rhododendron species were linear and fully developed, indicating the absence of morphological dormancy (MD). R. brachycarpum and R. micranthum had non-dormant (ND) seeds at dispersal, whereas R. mucronulatum var. ciliatum seeds had some physiological dormancy (PD) at population level. The application of exogenous gibberellic acid (GA3) at 1,000 mg・L-1 broke the PD of R. mucronulatum var. ciliatum, while cold stratification at 4°C had no effect on seed dormancy. The optimal environmental conditions for seed germination were light・ 25/15°C for R. brachycarpum, darkness・20/10°C for R. micranthum, and light·25/15°C for R. mucronulatum var. ciliatum. Due to the interspecific variation of Rhododendron genus, the seed dormancy type or germination characteristics of all species were distinguished in this study. This study could be useful to understand the ecophysiological characteristics of Rhododendron species native to Korea.
