시멘트 킬른더스트의 치환 방법에 따른 콘크리트의 공학적 특성

In this paper, engineering properties of concrete are discussed using cement kiln dust(CKD) to find effective application method of industrial by-products. According to test results, for the effect of CKD contents on fresh concrete, fluidity and air content show decline tendency with increase of CKD contents due to improved viscosity and air void filling effect. Setting time shows to be accelerated due to enhanced hydration reaction of cement at early stage. For the effect of CKD replacement method on the compressive strength, replacement of CKD for fine aggregates achieve most favorable strength gain at early and late stage. For hydration heat, CaCO3 and alkari in CKD play important role in accelerating initial hydration reaction, which cause higher hydration heat than that of plain concrete. For durability, replacement of CKD for fine aggregates shows desirable effect on improving drying shrinkage and accelerated neutralization test, while frost resistance shows to be decreased.

알루미늄 합금 개발 동향을 살펴보고, 차세대 중형항공기 구조재료용 알루미늄 합금 후보군을 정리하였다. 최근 주목받고 있는 알루미늄-리튬 합금을 비롯한 고가의 재료는 제외한 알루미늄 합금 가운데 성능이 개선된 내용을 기존 재료 물성치와 비교를 통해 정리하였다. 현재 운용중인 중형항공기인 Q400의 동체 및 주익의 주요구조에 사용된 재료와 함께 표로 정리하여 중량 절감 및 항공기 성능 개선 수준을 비교할 수 있도록 하였다. 추후 구조해석을 통해 정적/피로 특성을 확인하고, 생산 및 제작부서와 협의하여 도출된 재료 후보군의 적절성을 판단할 수 있도록 한다. This paper describes aluminum alloy development trend and introduces some candidate materials for next generation regional aircraft structure. Excellent in mechanical properties but expensive material such as Aluminum-Lithium alloy is excluded. There have been much advancements in non-lithium alloys bringing values to airframers. Some graphs show qualitative comparison between old and new material properties. Aluminum alloys in major structural parts of Q400 are also listed to estimate weight savings and performance enhancement of new aircraft. The candidate materials should be checked by structural analysis on their static/fatigue characteristics and discussion with manufacturing engineer would be necessary in the future.
Polyphosphoric acid-은 나노입자의 제조 및 응용

Polyphosphoric acid(PPA)는 난연제로 흔히 알려져 있지만, 물에 대해 높은 용해도를 가지며 수용액 상에서의 분자 간 정전기적 반발력에 기인하여 나노입자의 분산제로서 활용이 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 PPA 를 분산제로 이용하여 은 나노입자 콜로이드를 합성하였으며, PPA-은 나노입자의 제반 특성, 난연성 및 항균성 등을 평가 및 고찰하였다. PPA 는 은 전구체의 환원반응 시 결정의 성장 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 입자 간의 응집을 방해하여 안정적인 나노콜로이드 용액을 형성하는데 도움을 주며, 이로부터 작고 균일한 크기의 은 나노입자를 성공적으로 합성할 수 있었다. PPA-은 나노입자로 코팅된 벽지는 항균성을 보유할 뿐만 아나라 매우 우수한 난연성을 가짐을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 합성된 PPA-은 나노입자는 항균성 및 할로겐계 난연제를 대체할 수 있는 난연성을 동시에 보유할 수 있는 가공제로서 인테리어 자재 및 다양한 섬유 제품으로의 적용이 기대된다.

BACKGROUND: This study was carried out to investigate pesticide residues from fifty streams in Korea. Water samples were collected at two times. Thee first sampling was performed from april to may, which was the season for start of pesticide application and the second sampling event was from august to september, which was a period for spraying pesticides multiple times. METHODS AND RESULTS: The 136 pesticide residues were analyzed by LC-MS/MS and GC/ECD. As a result, eleven of the pesticide residues were detected at the first sampling. Twenty eight of the pesticide residues were detected at the second sampling. Seven pesticides were frequently detected from more than 10 water samples. Ecological risk assessment (ERA) was carried out by using residual and toxicological data. Four scenarios were applied for the ERA. Scenario 1 and 2 were performed using LC50 values and mean and maximum concentrations. Scenarios 3 and 4 were conducted by NOEC values and mean and maximum concentrations. CONCLUSION: Frequently detected pesticide residues tended to coincide with the period of preventing pathogen and pest at paddy rice. As a result of ERA, five pesticides (butachlor, carbendazim, carbofuran, chlorantranilprole, and oxadiazon) were assessed to be risks at scenario 4. However, only oxadiazon was assessed to be a risk at scenario 3 for the first sampling. Oxadiazon was not assessed to be a risk at the second sampling. It seems to be temporary phenomenon at the first sampling, because usage of herbicides such as oxadiazon increased from April to march for preventing weeds at paddy fields. However, this study suggested that five pesticides which were assessed to be risks need to be monitored continuously for the residues.
On the Mythic Qualities of Television Culture

The purpose of this study is to discuss the mythic qualities of television culture. The basic assumption for the study is that to enrich our understanding of television culture in terms of its mythic qualities will be helpful to those who are interested in the production and the studies of television contents in developing their creative ideas. The study discusses the theoretical conceptions of myth and ritual and their applicability to the study of television culture from the multi-disciplinary perspective. So, it deals with significant theoretical works by a number of great contemporary social or cultural thinkers including Carey, Cassirer, Durkheim, van Gennep, Turner, and Eliade. After all, the result of the study identifies three key features of mythic qualities of television culture including ‘commonsensicalness,’ ‘emotionalness,’ and ‘mediatorialness.’
