안드로이드 응용의 응답 시간 향상을 위한 트레이스 기반 프리컴파일 기법

최근에 안드로이드 응용의 사용자 응답 시간을 향상시키기 위해 JIT 컴파일 방법을 사용하는 달빅 가상 머신에 AOT 컴파일 아이디어를 적용하는 방법들이 제안되었다. 그러나 기존 방법들은 DEX(Dalvik Executable)라는 달빅 실행 파일의 구조를 변경해야 하기 때문에, 이미 시장에 배포된 안드로이드 응용들을 대상으로 적용하기 어렵다. 본 논문은 DEX 실행 파일의 구조 변경 없이 달빅 가상 머신에서 핫 트레이스를 미리 컴파일하는 JITwP(JIT with Precompile) 기법을 제안한다. JITwP 기법은 달빅 가상 머신에 프리컴파일 힌트를 제공하여 타겟 응용의 응답 시간을 개선한다. 성능 평가 결과, 웹 브라우저 응용에 대해서 약 4%의 실행 시간을 단축하는 결과를 얻었다. Recently, to improve the user response times of Android applications, several studies have been proposed to combine the idea of Ahead-of-Time compilation into Dalvik virtual machine, which uses Just-in-Time compilation. The studies, however, require modifications of the Dalvik executables of target applications, thus are difficult to be adopted for legacy applications already deployed. This paper proposes a JITwP(JIT with Precompile) technique that precompiles hot traces at application launch time with no modification of the Dalvik executable. It improves the user response times of target applications by providing precompile hints prepared offline. Our experimental results demonstrate a 4% improvement in terms of execution time for the Web browser application.
SiCp / Al-4wt%Cu 복합재료의 조직과 고온시효경화거동에 미치는 Ti 첨가의 영향

N/A SiC particle reinforced Al-4wt%Cu-Xwt%Ti(X=0, 0.15, 0.3) composites(V_f=5%) were fabricated by using of rheo-compocasting method. Effects of Ti addition on the dispersion behavior of SiC particle, grain refinement and age hardening behavior at 300℃, 400℃ in SiC_p/Al-Cu composites were investigated with use of optical, scanning electron microscopy, DSC and Rockwell hardness tester. SiC_p in as-cast composites was dispersed at grain boundary and redispersed along the movement of grain boundary by grain coarsening during aging treatment at 300 and 400℃. Effects of grain refining and increase of hardness by Ti addition were not obtained scarcely in the SiC_p reinforced composite compared with the matrix alloys. The 0.15wt%Ti added composite indicated good age hardening behavior at 300℃ and 400℃ compared with the other composites.

N/A SiC whisker and Al₂O₃-SiO₂short fiber reinforced AC8A, AC8B and AC8B(J) matrix composites were fabricated by squeeze casting method. Preform deformation, change of reinforcement volume-fraction and formation of macro-segregation in two composites were investigated by using micro Vickers hardness test, analysis of macro and micro structures with OM, SEM and EDAX. Al₂O₃,-SiO₂short fiber preform manufactured with 5% SiO₂binder in this study was considerably deformed and cracked, nevertheless, the short fibers were distributed homogeneously in the composites. In SiC whisker reinforced composites, on the other hand, preform deforming and cracking were not occurred, however, macro segregation zone formed along the infiltration routes by interface reaction during infiltration of molten metal into the preform was observed at center-low area in the composites. The decrease of hardness in the macro segregation zone resulted from the depletion of Si and Mg atoms.

Free radicals are though to be the most important cause of the reperfusion injury subsequent to ischemia. The antioxidant status of the tissue affected by ischemia-reperfusion is of great importance for the primary endogenous defense against the free radical induced injury. Therefore, antioxidant therapy has been shown to be beneficial in neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease and cerebral ischemia. In this study, the protective effects of Chungpesagan-tang(CST) was investigated against ischemia/reperfusion-induced cytotoxicity in SK-N-MC neuronal cells it was found out that low concentration of CST we highly effective in protecting neuronal cells against ischemia/reperfusion-induced cytotoxicity. The inhibitory effect of CST on malondialdehyde formation during ischemia/reperfusion-induced oxidative stress in SK-N-MC cells showed obvious dose-dependent responses. Also, CST showed relatively high inhibitory activity to xanthine oxidase induced by ischemia/reperfusion environment. Therefore, it is thought that CST has both antioxidant and xanthine oxidase inhibitory effect and can be used for clinical applications for protection of neuronal cells from ischemia/reperfusion injury.
한국전력공사의 해외사업진출에 관한 투자매력도 분석: 동남아시아 3개국을 중심으로

본 연구는 동남아시아 3개국(태국, 베트남, 말레이시아)의 투자매력도를 비교․분석하여 한국전력공사의 해외사업 진출가능성을 평가하였다. 이를 위해, Dunning(1988)의 절충이론과 UNCTAD(2006)의 투자유발동기 및 이순철․이영일(2011)의 투자결정요인 등에 기초하여 해외사업진출 예정국의 거시경제분석, 산업인프라분석, 법․제도 분석 등을 실시하였다. 거시경제 분석결과, 투자와 소비부문에서 3개국 모두 비슷한 값을 보인 것을 제외하고는 시장규모부문에서는 태국, 물가와 경기부문에서는 말레이시아, 대외경제부문에서는 베트남, 국가신용도부문에서는 말레이시아의 투자매력도가 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 산업인프라 분석에서는 일부 지표를 제외한 대부분의 관련지표에서 산업인프라가 잘 구축된 말레이시아의 투자매력도가 상대적으로 높게 나타났을 뿐만 아니라 전력산업분석에서도 말레이시아의 투자매력도가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 법․제도 분석에서는 말레이시아와 태국이 서로 비슷한 값을 가지는 것으로 나타나 상대적인 비교우위를 가늠하기 어려웠다. This paper analyses the attractiveness of KEPCO for entering 3 south east asia countries(e.g. Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia), through comparisons in three areas; macro economy structure, industry infrastructure, and law & Institution. According to the comparison evaluation, the results for attractiveness of 3 countries are summarizes as follows. First, within the framework of macro economy structure, Thailand is the largest country in view of the economy market size. Malaysia’s greatest merits are its price level, business cycle and country risk. On the other hand, Vietnam is the most attractive for international economy, even though they are similar to each other in terms of investment and consumption. Second, within the framework of industry infrastructure, Malaysia has very sufficient infrastructure in general. The quality of SOC(social overhead capital), logistics performance index, and ICT (information & communication technology) index are the best condition among them. The electric industry in Malaysia is also a promising project which can attract foreign capital. Third, within the framework of law & Institution, Malaysia and Thailand show a very similar pattern from the business environment viewpoint, from the governance viewpoint, and from the market accessibility viewpoint.
Rheo-Compocasting 법으로 제조한 Mg / SiCp 복합재료의 조직 및 경도 특성에 미치는 Zn , Zr 첨가의 영향

N/A SiC particles reinforced Mg-Zr, Mg-Zn and Mg-Zn-Zr composites were manufactured by Rheocompocasting method. Effects of Zn, Zr addition on microstructures and hardness were investigated by using the micro Vickers hardness tester, the optical and scanning electron microscopy. By the Zr addition to the pureMg/SiC_p composites, SiC particles become more homogeneously dispersed and grain refined so that the micro hardness of the composite increased. In case of Zn addition, although grain refinement and homogeneous dispersion effects of SiC particles were not obtained, hardness was more increased than the only Zr added composite by the formation of many Mg-Zn intermetallic compounds at grain boundary. In the Mg-Zn-Zr/SiC_p composite, the highest value of hardness was obtained by triple effects such as grain refining, dispersion hardening of SiC particles and Mg-Zn compounds.
