Backgrounds & Objectives : The aims of this study were to observe how morphology was changed and whether gastric motility was impaired in streptozotocin(STZ)-induced diabetic rats(DR), and whether Yijin-tang(YJT) was able to restore their impaired gastric motility. Methods : We investigated the change of body weight, feed intake and blood glucose between normal rats (NR) and DR for 12 weeks after induction of diabetes. At the time of 12 weeks after induction of diabetes, gastric surface area, gastric slow wave and gastric emptying rate were measured. Results : Decreased body weight, increased feed intake and increased gastric surface area were observed in DR, compared with NR. The percentage of normogastria decreased but that of bradygastria increased in DR, compared with NR. YJT 90mg/kg had no effect on the correction of gastric slow wave. YJT 90mg/kg and 270mg/kg had a significant effect on improvement of gastric emptying, more than normal saline (NS) in both NR and DR but the gastric emptying rate of DR was significantly lower than that of NR when YJT 90mg/kg and YJT 270mg/kg were administered. Conclusions : We can expect that administration of YJT would be effective on the improvement of gastric emptying and upper gastrointestinal symptoms as a juvantia.

Piezoelectric materials can be used to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy. In this study, we investigated the possibility of harvesting from mechanical vibration force using a high efficient piezoelectric material-polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). A piezoelectric energy harvesting system consists of rectifier, filter capacitor, resistance. The experiments were carried out with impacting force to PVDF film with the thickness of 1 ${\mu}m$. The output power was measured with change in the load resistance value from 100 ${\Omega}$ to 2.2 $M{\Omega}$. The highest power was obtained under optimization by selection of suitable resistive load and capacitance. A power of 0.3082 ${\mu}W/mm^2$ was generated at the external vibration force of 5 N (10 Hz) across a 1 $M{\Omega}$ optimal resistor. Also, the maximum power of 0.345 ${\mu}W/mm^2$ was generated at 22 ${\mu}F$ and 1 $M{\Omega}$. The developed system was expected at a solution to overcome the critical problem of making up small size energy harvester.

A pancreatic pseudocyst is the most common cystic lesion in the pancreas. There are several treatment methods with variable results. Recently, conservative treatment has been preferred because it has fewer complications. In this case, a 37-year-old male patient had pancreatic pseudocysts with upper abdominal pain, left upper back pain, diarrhea, weight loss, and general weakness. We prescribed him Banchongsangamibang (蟠蔥散加味方). For about 1 year, he was treated with oriental medicine. All of his pancreatic pseudocysts disappeared on abdominal CT follow-up and the symptoms mostly subsided. There had been no recurrence of pancreatic pseudocysts on abdominal CT follow-up after 1 year.

본 논문은 일본이 동남아시아에서 중국의 영향력을 견제하고 지정학적 이익을 추구하기 위해 ODA를 활용하고 있는지 실증적으로 검토하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 기존의 논의는 일본이 중국의 부상에 대응하기 위해 동남아시아에서 지정학적 게임을 벌이고 있다는 관점이 우세하지만, 일본의 ODA 정책이 실제로는 경제적 이익을 극대화하려는 지경학적 전략에 더 중점을 두고 있음을 밝히고자 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 일본 원조 정책의 전략성을 검증하기 위한 분석틀을 제시하고, 이를 통해 정책의 지정학적 및 지경학적 이익을 추구하는 방식을 유형화했다. 다음으로 아베 정권기(2012-2020) 일본의 ODA 정책을 양적으로 분석하고, 이를 통해 해당 시기에 미얀마에 대한 원조가 큰 폭으로 증가했으며 이는 지정학적 이익보다 지경학적 이익을 추구한 결과임을 보였다. 마지막으로 미얀마의 사례를 통해 일본의 원조 정책이 어떻게 지경학적 이익을 추구하는지를 구체적으로 분석했다. 이를 통해 한국 또한 동남아시아에서 원조 영향력을 확대하기 위해서는 관민 협력의 지경학적 이익에 주목해야 함을 지적한다. This paper aims to empirically examine whether Japan is utilising ODA to pursue its geopolitical interests in Southeast Asia in order to counter Chinese influence. While the existing debate is dominated by the view that Japan is playing geopolitical games in Southeast Asia to counter China's rise, we argue that Japan's ODA policy is actually more focused on a geopolitical strategy to maximise economic benefits. To do so, we first present an analytical framework for examining the strategic nature of Japanese aid policy, which typifies the ways in which the policy pursues geopolitical and geoeconomic interests. Then we quantitatively analyse Japan's ODA policy during the Abe administration (2012~2020) and show that Japan's aid to Myanmar increased significantly during this period, indicating that it pursued geopolitical interests over geoeconomic interests. Finally, we specifically analyse how Japan's aid policy pursues geopolitical interests through the case of Myanmar. These findings suggest that South Korea should also pay attention to public-private cooperation in order to expand its aid influence in Southeast Asia.

Objectives: We performed this study to check the effect of Cold-Heat attribute analyzed quantitatively by questionnaire on halitosis patient. Methods: We made a questionnaire composed of 15 items(6 categories) about the contents of Cold-Heat and asked 105 subjects to answer in the form Likert-like seven-points score. And then, we extracted Cold-Heat attribute from 15 items, 6 categories, 6 weighted categories, heat score and cold score. On the other hand we measured the halimeter measurements. VAS, winkle tongue coating index. Afterward, the data were analyzed by statistical methods. Results:1) In the 15 items, question number 6, 7, 8 is negative correlated with halimeter measurements. Question number10 is positive correlated with halimeter measurements. And question number 11, 12, 14 is positive correlated with VAS. 2) In the 6 categories, constipation is negative correlated with halimeter measurements. Chill is positive correlated with VAS. And Cold-limbs is positive correlated with halimeter measurements. 3) In the 6 weighted score categories, constipation is negative correlated with halimeter measurements. Chill is positive correlated with VAS. And Cold-limbs is positive correlated with halimeter measurements. Conclusions: Further clinical research is necessary in the development of the questionnaire's items. And to get the better of this study, we should research more analytic method made casual relationship clear between Cold-Heat attributes and the index of halitosis.

The effect of various post-annealing temperature to sputtered Pb(Zr,Ti)$O_3$ (PZT) thin films was investigated. The crystallization process, surface morphology and the electrical characteristics strongly depends on the rapid thermal annealing (RTA). In radio frequency (RF) sputtering methods, there were many papers mostly forcing on the crystal forming and the surface variations with different elements distribution (Pb, Ti, Zr, O) on the surface of the PZT layer. In this experiment, the post-annealing treatment promoted the Pb volatilization in PZT thin film and affected the Ti diffused throughout the Pt layer into the PZT layer. Second ion mass spectroscopy (SIMS) analysis was employed to show that the Pb element in the PZT layer was decreased at the same time the Ti element mass was slight decreased than Pb with increasing RTA temperature. That result prove the content of Pb affect the PZT thin film property.

We investigated the effects of a high density $O_2$ plasma treatment on the structural and electrical properties of Ga-, B- codoped ZnO (GZOB) films. The GZOB films were deposited on polymer substrate without substrate heating by DC magnetron sputtering. Prior to the GZOB film growth, we treated a polymer substrate with highly dense inductively coupled oxygen plasma. The optical transmittance of the GZOB film, about 80 %, was maintained regardless of the plasma pre-treatment. The resistivity of the GZOB film on PC substrate decreased from 9.08 ${\times}$ $10^{-3}$ ${\Omega}-cm$ without an $O_2$ plasma pre-treatment to 2.12 ${\times}$ $10^{-3}$ ${\Omega}-cm$ with an $O_2$ plasma pre-treatment. And PES substrate decreased from 1.14 ${\times}$ $10^{-2}$ ${\Omega}-cm$ without an $O_2$ plasma pre-treatment to 6.13 ${\times}$ $10^{-3}$ ${\Omega}-cm$ with an $O_2$ plasma pre-treatment.
저온동시소성세라믹 기판 위에 제작된 PZT 박막의 증착조건이 박막의 구조적 특성에 미치는 영향

Recently, low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) technology is widely used in sensors, actuators and microsystems fields because of its very good electrical and mechanical properties, high reliability and stability as well as possibility of making 3D micro structures. In this study, we investigated the effects of sputtering gas ratio and annealing temperature on the crystal structure of $Pb(ZrTi)O_3$ (PZT) thin films deposited on LTCC substrate. The LTCC substrate with thickness of $400\;{\mu}m$ were fabricated by laminating 4 green tapes which consist of alumina and glass particle in an organic binder. The PZT thin films were deposited on Pt / Ti / LTCC substrates by RF magnetron sputtering method. The results showed that the crystallization of the films were enhanced as increasing $O_2$ mixing ratio. At about 25% $O_2$ mixing ratio, was well crystallized in the perovskite structure. PZT thin films was annealed at various temperatures. When the annealing temperature is lower, the PZT thin films become a phyrochlore phase. However, when the annealing temperature is higher than $600^{\circ}C$, the PZT thin films become a perovskite phase. At the annealing temperature of $700^{\circ}C$, perovskite PZT thin films with good quality structure was obtained.
구취환자의 구강건조와 기허${\cdot}$기울 변증의 상관성 분석

Objectives : This study investigated the correlation between dry mouth and comprehensive diagnosis of Qi xu and Qi yu in patients with halitosis. Methods : We surveyed 124 halitosis patients by reviewing the questionnaires from the Halitosis Clinic in the Hospital of Oriental Medicine, Kyunghee University from January 2004 to March 2006. The halitosis questionnaires contained self-awareness of halitosis, self-assessed severity of halitosis, dry mouth and taste abnormality. Among comprehensive diagnosis of Qui Xue Shui, Qi xu and Qi yu parts were investigated by questionnaire and physical examination, and each Qi xu and Qi yu part scores were summed. Winkel tongue coating index was estimated by investigator, the level of volatile sulfur compounds were measured by halimeter, and salivary function was assessed by salivary scan test. All patients were divided into two groups based on salivary scan test (salivary function normal and decreased). Results : Qi xu score of halitosis patients with decreased salivary function was higher than normal halitosis patients. There was highly significant correlation between Qi yu score and dry mouth, and another significant correlation between self-assessed halitosis severity and dry mouth was noted. Conclusions : The results of this study suggest that Qi yu condition influences dry mouth in halitosis patients, and halitosis is affected by dry mouth. Therefore. we assume that treating Qi yu condition can be a potentially effective way of treating dry mouth and halitosis.
