Introduction The purpose of this study was to review thirty years of studies on psychological characteristics of Sasang types to delineate generalizable psychological theories pertaining Sasang typology. Methods Research articles providing psychometric characteristics of each Sasang types were extracted from five database written in Korean and English. Demographic features of the participants, clinical methods for the Sasang type classification, and psychological characteristics of each Sasang types were reviewed and summarized. Results A total of 59 peer-reviewed research articles were found to be published from 1991 to 2018, and the So-Yang and So-Eum Sasang type showed distinctive and contrasting psychological features. The overlap between Eastern and Western psychology in Behavioral Activation and Inhibition System was highlighted as for personality studies, but the anxiety as a pathological factor was not found distinguishable between Sasang types. Discussion The present systematic review provided insight on psychological perspectives of Sasang typology, and would be useful for establishing unique construct of Korean Psychology.
Acute Pancreatitis with Purtscher’s-like Retinopathy

A 28-year-old man with a history of alcohol abuse was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis based on clinical symptoms, laboratory findings and computed tomography findings. On the second day of hospitalization, he complained of sudden visual disturbance. The ophthalmologic examination showed Purtscher’s-like retinopathy. Two weeks after initial presentation, his vision was significantly improved along with epigastric pain. Retinal arteriolar occlusion by complement-mediated leukoembolization is the proposed pathogenic mechanism of Purtscher’s-like retinopathy. Increased activity of proteases such as trypsin, associated with acute pancreatitis might be linked with the production of complement C5a. We report a rare case of Purtscher’s-like retinopathy associated with acute pancreatitis.
Effect of Feed Type on Abalone (Haliotis discus hannai) Growth in Recirculating Aquaculture Systems

Recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) can improve the production of farmed abalone, but there are issues with using such systems. An important issue is that the health of shellfish reared in such systems is largely determined by feed type. Therefore, it is important to optimize diets to improve the production of abalone. In this study, Haliotis discus hannai in a recirculating aquaculture system were fed with three types of dry seaweed Saccharina japonica, Undaria pinnatifida, and Pyropia tenera) together with formulated diet (FD) in five different ratios. The different feed treatments were run for 90 days to examine the effects on abalone growth. The highest growth rate was 12.35%, which was observed for shell length in the group fed Pyropia tenera, with 7.01 and 7.14% growth rates in the groups fed Undaria pinnatifida and formulated diet, respectively. A 3.36 % growth rate was observed in the group fed Saccharina japonica alone. However, the addition of appropriate proportions of seaweed to the mixed diet led to better growth, indicating protection against the nutritional deficiencies of FD. The CaCO3 abalone shell mainly comprises aragonite and calcite. Rearing in RAS and natural seawater resulted in 7:3 and 6:4 aragonite to calcite ratios, respectively, with no feed type-based difference. We, therefore, speculate that shell composition is influenced more by the environment than the feed in that the metastable aragonite crystal structure is converted to a stable calcite crystal structure in natural seawater, where minerals are abundant.
탈기에 의한 심층포기 호기조 MLSS (Mixed Liquor Suspended Solid) 침전성 향상 방안 연구

The dissolved air at the bottom layer of the deep aeration tank transforms into fine gas bubbles within the MLSS (Mixed Liquor Suspended Solid) floc when exposed to the atmosphere. MLSS floc flotation occurs when MLSS from the deep aeration tank enters the secondary clarifier for solid-liquid separation, as dissolved air becomes fine air within the MLSS floc. The raised MLSS floc causes a high SS (Suspended Solid) concentration in the secondary effluent. The fine air bubbles within the MLSS floc must be removed to achieve stable sedimentation in the secondary clarifier. Fine bubbles within the MLSS floc can be removed by air sparging. The settleability of MLSS was measured by sludge volume indexes (SVIs) after air sparging MLSS taken at the end of the deep aeration tank. MLSS settling tests were performed at MLSS heights of 200, 300, 400, and 500 mm, and compressed air was fed at the bottom of the settling column with air flow rates of 100, 300, and 500 ml/min at each MLSS height, respectively. Also, at each height and air flow rate, air was sparged for 3, 5, and 7 minutes, respectively. SVI was determined for each height, air flow rate, and sparging time, respectively. Experimental results showed that a 300 mm MLSS height, 300 ml/min air flow rate, and 3 minutes of sparging time were the least conditions to achieve less than 120 ml/g of SVI, which was the criterion for good MLSS settling in the secondary clarifier.

Immunoglobulin G4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is characterized by extensive IgG4-positive plasma cells infiltration resulting in inflammation and fibrosis of the affected organs. Patient with IgG4-RD shows an excellent response to glucocorticoid therapy especially when given at early onset stages. IgG4-related sclerosing cholangitis (IgG4-SC) is considered biliary manifestation of IgG4-RD. The natural history and longterm prognosis of IgG4-SC is not well defined and most of the previous case series have reported short duration of follow-up. We present the case of development of decompensated liver cirrhosis from IgG4-related sclerosing cholangitis with a 6-year natural clinical course. Korean J Pancreas Biliary Tract 2017;22(4):179-183
실내 공공 공간(Interior Public Space)에서의 섬유 설치미술의 표현 형태 연구

(연구배경 및 목적) 섬유 소재의 유연한 특성은 건물의 차가운 경관과 완벽하게 조화를 이루며, 실내 공공 공간의 친화력과 편안함을 강화한다. 섬유 설치미술을 매개로 하여 공간을 더욱 풍부하게 만들어 예술가들에게 창작의 가능성을 제공한다. 또한, 섬유 설치미술은 실내 공공 공간의 품질과 체험을 개선하여 방문객들의 관심을 집중시키고, 쉴 수 있는 공간을 제공함과 동시에 그들의 사고와 감정에 공감을 자극한다. 더불어, 섬유 설치미술은 건축의 전반적인 형태에 다양성을 더하여 설치미술의 발전에 기여하며, 공공건물의 시각적인 이미지를 제고한다. 본 연구의 목적은 실내 공공 공간에서 섬유 설치미술의 포괄적인 표현 형태와 표현 방법에 관여한 사례를 분석하여, 섬유 설치미술이 실내 공공 공간에 작용하는 새로운 아이디어를 탐색하는 것이다. (연구방법) 첫째, 문헌 연구를 통해 섬유 소재, 설치미술, 실내 공공 공간의 정의를 한다. 둘째, 섬유 설치미술의 개념과 형성 과정을 분석한다. 실내 공공 공간에 섬유 설치미술을 적용하는 것을 기점으로 작품의 공간 표현 유형과 공간 관계를 분석한다. 셋째, 디자인 사례를 기반으로 천연섬유 7점, 인조섬유 6점, 발견된 물건 4점을 비교 분석하고, 사례를 종합적으로 분석하여 실내 공공 공간에서의 섬유 장식의 표현 형태와 방법을 도출한다. (결과) 사례분석 결과, 소재 면에서는 천연섬유 > 인조섬유 > 발견된 오브제 순으로 발견되었다. 공간 표현 유형으로는 매달리는 유형의 작품이 가장 많으며, 다른 유형은 보통 독립적으로 존재하지 않고, 주로 매달리는 유형과 결합하는 형식으로 존재한다. 감각유형 관점에서는 시각 감각이 모든 작품의 가장 직접적인 특징이며, 다음으로 촉각과 청각이 나이다. 후각은 비교적 적게 나타낸다. 작품의 주된 목적은 공간을 꾸미고 작가의 감정을 표현하는 것이며, 일부 작품들은 실용적인 기능을 가지고 있다. (결론) 실내 공공 공간에서의 설치미술은 섬유의 독특한 표현 형태와 재료 특성을 결합하여 혁신적인 소재와 디자인을 통해 공간에 활력을 불어넣는다. 시각, 촉각, 청각, 후각과 관객의 상호작용을 통해 공간에 대한 사고와 감정을 자극한다. 섬유 설치미술은 건축과 실내 공공 공간의 디자인에서도 창의적인 잠재력을 보여주며, 매달리는 유형(Hanging), 부설 유형, 직립 유형, 동태 유형의 재구성 및 결합을 통해 새로운 건축언어를 형성한다.

Maintenance is carried out over a long period of time, and various documents are utilized in the maintenance work. In maintenance work which is progressed simultaneously in a short period of time, it is important to provide relevant information to the parties in a timely manner. As the types of work increase, manager needs more time and effort to select and utilize the documents. It is necessary to have an information system that supports the person in charge by grasping work procedures for each construction and providing the necessary documents and information for that step. This paper proposes an process based nexus model that can provide necessary documents to the parties to the work steps by linking the maintenance work process and BIM. Through the nexus model presented, manager can efficiently acquire the necessary documents and utilize them for the construction works currently being carried out.

The procedure of predicting the construction cost and selecting the best alternative is performed based on comparative review of each building case. In the case of office building, it is required continuously until design is complete, since the owner requirements are various and likely to change during the design process compared to a standardized apartment. However, since the comparison work for each alternative in practice uses only the unit construction cost, there is no correlation between the alternative and the final result, and it is difficult to quantitatively determine the effect of the determined design factor on the total construction cost. It is needed that a means to support the generation of design alternatives using similar building cases during the design phase. This paper proposes a BIM-based data replacing process to support creating and comparison of design alternatives of internal finishing for office building. When design alternatives are created through the proposed process, it is possible to compare several similar cases with current project under equivalent design circumstance. Because only some finishing properties are replaced while maintaining the shape information such as the length, height, and base constraint of the object to be replaced.
