An alternative impression technique based on McLean's functional impression concept

In this case report, an alternative impression technique for fabricating removable partial dentures was used in a patient with very few remaining teeth. In this technique, an individual tray was made on the cast, which was made by relining interim denture and taking overimpression with irreversible hydrocolloid according to McLean's functional impression concept. This method showed the following advantages: the no need for border molding with modeling compound, time saving for denture impression without overextension and accurate seating of the individual tray.
초등학교 교사의 장애학생을 위한 교육적 배려가 비장애학생의 부정적 인식 및 친구관계 형성에 미치는 구조관계

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationship of educational considerations for students with disabilities perceived by elementary school teachers on the negative recognition and friendship formation of non-disabled students. Method: This study was conducted based on data from 316 elementary school teachers nationwide. The questionnaire was consisted of 18 questions, but 12 questions were identified in the exploratory factor analysis, 5 questions of educational consideration, 4 questions of negative recognition of non-disabled students, and 3 questions of friendship formation. Results: Elementary school teachers' educational consideration for students with disabilities affected the formation of friendships, and negative perceptions were influenced by the relationship between friends. However, the educational care of elementary school teachers was not a structure that directly affected negative perceptions of students with disabilities. Conclusion: This study suggests that the formation of friendship with non-disabled peers is an important factor for the social integration of students with disabilities. 연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 교사가 인식하는 장애학생을 위한 교육적 배려가 비장애학 생의 부정적 인식 및 친구관계 형성에 미치는 구조관계를 알아보기 위하여 수행되었다. 연구방 법: 이 연구는 전국의 초등학교 교사 316명의 자료에 기초하여 조사연구로 수행되었다. 설문지는 모두 18개 문항으로 구성되었으나, 탐색적 요인분석에서 교육적 배려 5문항, 비장애학생의 부정적 인식 4문항, 그리고 친구관계 형성 3문항으로 모두 12문항이 확정되었다. 연구결과: 초등학교 교 사의 장애학생을 위한 교육적 배려는 친구관계 형성에 영향을 미치고, 부정적 인식은 친구관계를 매개하여 영향을 받는다. 그러나 초등학교 교사의 교육적 배려는 장애학생에 대한 부정적 인식에 직접적이 영향을 미치는 구조는 아니다. 결론: 장애학생의 사회통합을 위하여 비장애또래와의 친 구관계 형성은 중요한 요인이므로 다양한 연구방법 적용 및 해결 방안을 제안하기 위한 노력이 전제되어야 함을 이 연구에서는 제안하고 있다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationship between educational supports of physical disability school teachers on career education mediated by physical activities. Method: The questionnaire survey was conducted on 347 teachers who were working in the schools for physical disabilities. 15 items were developed regarding educational supports, physical activities, and career education. Results: The results of the study were as follows. The relationship between educational supports and physical activities of physical disability school teachers was not statistically significant. In addition, the educational supports of physical disability school teachers did not have a statistical power in relation to career education. However, when the educational support of the physical disability school teachers were mediated by the physical activities, the influences on the career education were statistically significant highly. Conclusion: Therefore, this study suggests that physical activity factors should be included in educational supports and career education for students with physical disabilities. 연구목적: 본 연구는 지체장애학교 교사의 교육적 지원이 신체활동을 매개한 진로교육에 미치는 구조 관계를 알아보기 위하여 수행되었다. 연구방법: 전국의 지체장애학교 교사 347명을 대상으로 전자 설문하였다. 교육적 지원, 신체활동, 진로교육에 대한 설문 내용으로 15문항을 개발하였다. 연구결과: 지체장애학교 교사의 교육적 지원과 신체활동의 관계는 통계적으로 설명력을 확보하지 못하였다. 또한 지체장애학교 교사의 교육적 지원은 진로교육에 대한 관계에서 통계적으로 설명력을 확보하지 못하였다. 그러나 지체장애학교 교사의 교육적 지원이 신체활동을 매개할 경우는 진로교육에 미치는 영향은 통계적으로 높은 설명력을 확보하였다. 결론: 본 연구에서는 지체장애학생의 교육적 지원 및 진로교육에 신체활동 요인이 포함되어야 함을 제안하고 있다.

The purpose of this study was to investigated the effect of taping intervention applied to the diaphragm on the anaerobic performance in 30 seconds. 18 healthy college students were randomly divided into experimental group(KT=9) and control group(Sham=9). In both groups, pre and post measurement was performed by wingate test, and post measurement was performed with taping application after a week rest. The statistics between two groups on the rate of change pre and post were analyzed through Mann-Whitney U test. Statistically, it showed that only the average power(AP) of control group was significantly different. This means that diaphragmatic taping did not affect the performance of anaerobic exercise for 30 seconds. However, considering the increase in aerobic metabolism during long-term anaerobic exercise longer than 30 seconds, further studies on anaerobic exercise performance within various time ranges are needed.

In this study, the dyeing properties of supercritical fluid dyed cotton fabrics were investigated which use two types of dyes, such as C.I. Disperse orange and C.I. Disperse red 167. Dyeing temperature, pressure and leveling time were equally applied at 130 ℃, 250 bar, and 60 minutes with reference to the related literature, and experiments were performed at concentrations of 0.04, 0.1, 0.4 and 0.8 % o.w.f with different concentrations. Dyeability was confirmed through measurement of washing fastness and color coordinate, and a calibration curve of each dye was drawn up and the absorbance of the residual dye was measured to confirm the amount of residual dye and the dye exhaustion rate at the corresponding concentration. As a result of color difference measurement, as the concentration increased, the L<sup>*</sup> value decreased and the K/S value increased. However, as the concentration increased, the increase in K/S value decreased compared to the input amount, and this tendency was more obvious in C.I. Disperse red 167 than in C.I. Disperse orange 155. The dye exhaustion rate which was calculated by using the amount of residual dye in the pot was also C.I. Disperse orange 155 was 96.16 % and C.I. Disperse red 167 was 94.57 %. However, as the dyeing concentration increased, the dye exhaustion rate decreased, that C.I. Disperse orange was 95.33 % and C.I. Disperse red 167 was 90.63 %. As a result of the washing fastness test for both dyes, dyed samples of which concentrations were 0.4 and 0.8 % o.w.f decreased by 0.5 ~ 1.0 grade. This is predicted because the dye did not completely adhere to the amorphous region of the cotton fiber and the dye simply adsorbed. The fastness to rubbing also maintained at least grade 3-4 up to the 0.1 % o.w.f concentration, but at the concentration of 0.4 % o.w.f or higher, it fell to grade 1 or lower, showing a very poor friction fastness.

The purpose of this study was to correlate permeability parameters measured with dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) using a clinical 3-tesla scanner with extravasation of Evans blue in a rat model with transient cerebral ischemia. Sprague-Dawley rats (n = 13) with transient middle cerebral artery occlusion were imaged using a 3-tesla MRI with an 8-channel wrist coil. DCE-MRI was performed 12 hours, 18 hours, and 36 hours after reperfusion. Permeability parameters (Ktrans, ve, and vp) from DCE-MRI were calculated. Evans blue was injected after DCE-MRI and extravasation of Evans blue was correlated as a reference with the integrity of the blood-brain barrier. Correlation analysis was performed between permeability parameters and the extravasation of Evans blue. All permeability parameters (Ktrans, ve, and vp) showed a linear correlation with extravasation of Evans blue. Among them, Ktrans showed highest values of both the correlation coefficient and the coefficient of determination (0.687 and 0.473 respectively, p < 0.001). Permeability parameters obtained by DCE-MRI at 3-T are well-correlated with Evans blue extravasation, and Ktrans shows the strongest correlation among the tested parameters.
