This study aimed to assess the pollution level in 13 crowded subway stations in an effort to understand the spatial and seasonal factors of Indoor Air Quality. The main measured items were particulate pollutants such as PM10 and PM2.5 and gaseous pollutants such as CO2, HCHO, Rn, TVOC, BTEX, and Styrene at concourses and platforms in the summer and winter periods. The influence of the draught created by the movement of the train was classified into lateral and island platforms, and the concentrations of PM by location (entrance, middle, and end) were statistically compared and analyzed. As a result, the concentrations of PM were confirmed high in the order of Platform > Concourse > Ambient air. In particular, in the case of platform PM10, the frequency exceeding the standard value (100 μg/m3) was 38.5% and the maximum concentration was 196.2 μg/m3. All gaseous pollutants were at lower levels than the standard, and the factors affecting CO2 and Rn were identified as the number of users and geological characteristics, respectively. The principal component analysis (PCA) demonstrated that PM was found to be a major indicator of the air quality management of subway stations. In particular, the concentrations at entrance and end areas in the lateral platform were about 1.4 times higher with regard to PM10 than in the middle area, and about 1.9 times higher with regard to PM2.5 due to the effect created by the draught produced by the movement of the train. Therefore, in order to manage PM in the platform area, a specialized management plan for places with particularly high PM concentration within the platform area is required. In addition, it is necessary to evaluate the effect created by the draught produced by train movement when selecting locations for measuring indoor air quality.
트레이닝 강도가 고지방식이로 유도된 마우스 지방간과 miRNAs 및 표적 유전자 발현에 미치는 영향

PURPOSE: This study investigated the effect of exercise intensity on hepatic microRNA (miRNA) expression in a high-fat diet (HFD)- induced obese mice. METHODS: A total of 40 male C57BL/6 mice aged 5 weeks were randomly subjected to either standard chow (SC, n=10) or HFD (HFD, n=30) for 23 weeks. After 8 weeks of dietary treatments, mice in the HFD group were further divided and subjected to either HFD only (n=10) or HFD with high-intensity interval treadmill running (HFD+INT, n=10) or HFD with moderate-intensity treadmill running (HFD+MOD) for additional 15 weeks. Hepatic total RNA was extracted to analyze global expression profiles of miRNAs, which was followed by real-time PCR to quantify hepatic expressions of up or down-regulated miRNAs and mRNAs. RESULTS: As expected, chronic exposure to HFD resulted in obesity and hepatic steatosis in conjunction with increased serum concentrations of total cholesterol, aspartate transaminase, and alanine transaminase. In addition, HFD resulted in upregulation of hepatic miR-149 and miR-34a levels in conjunction with downregulation of hepatic peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPAR-α) and sirtuin1 (SIRT1) mRNAs. On the other hand, exercise training, especially high-intensity interval training, attenuated the liver damage and total cholesterol in conjunction with downregulation of hepatic miR-149 and miR-34a levels and upregulation of hepatic PPAR-α and SIRT1 mRNAs. CONCLUSIONS: This study suggests that exercise training, especially performed at a high-intensity, was effective in attenuating HFDinduced- fatty liver phenotypes as well as HFD–induced dysregulation of miRNAs in the liver.

Sajabalssuk (Artemisia princeps PAMPANINI, Sajabalssuk) was extracted with 80% aqueous MeOH and the concentrated extract was partitioned with EtOAc, n-BuOH and H20 , successively. From the EtOAc fraction, two cycloartane-type triterpenoids were isolated through the repeated silica gel and ODS colurnn chromatography. From the results of physico-chemical data including NMR, MS and IR, the chemical structures of the triterpenoids were determined as cycloartanol acetate (1), cycloart-23-ene-3β,25-diol 3-acetate (2). They were the first to be isolated from Sajabalssuk (Artemisia princeps PAMP ANINI).
한국 성인에서 악력과 대사증후군 발생률과의 연관성: 코호트 연구

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to investigate the association of relative hand-grip strength (HGS) with incident metabolic syndrome (MetS) in Korean adults using a community-based cohort study. METHODS: Total of 17,271 subjects (4,083 men and 13,188 women) aged 40-64 , who participated in the Korean Genome and Epidemiology Study (KoGES) were included. HGS was tested using a handgrip dynamometer and divided by body mass index (BMI). The diagnosis of MetS was evaluated according to the definition of the National Cholesterol Education Program Adult Treatment Panel III. Cox’s proportional hazard regression analysis was used to estimate the hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) of MetS incidence according to HGS levels. RESULTS: During the mean follow-up period of 5 years, the incidence of MetS was 435 (10.7%) and 1,260 (8.9%) subjects in men and women, respectively. Compared to the Low HGS (reference, HR=1), the reduced MetS incidence of high HGS (HR=0.425, 95%CI=0.326-0.556, p<.001) in men and mid HGS (HR=0.859, 95%CI=0.752-0.980, p<.05) and high HGS (HR=0.564, 95%CI=0.564-0.756, p<.001) in women remained significant even after the adjustment for age, income, education, marriage, alcohol consumption, smoking and exercise. CONCLUSIONS: Maintaining a high level of HGS may be important strategies for MetS prevention among adults.
MZ세대의 모바일 앱 경험 개수와 UX 상관관계 연구 - AR콘텐츠 체험과 사용자 경험을 중심으로 -

모바일 기기 이용과 미디어 콘텐츠 소비의 주체라고 할 수 있는 MZ세대는 산업적으로 기술적으로 발전하고 있는 AR콘텐츠 소비의 주체라고 할 수 있다. 이에 AR콘텐츠 모바일 앱을 체험한 MZ세대 UX경험 중심으로 연구를 진행하였다. 이론적 고찰을 통해 체험적 경험을 오락적 체험, 연속적 체험, 참여적 체험, 심미적 체험 4가지로 재정의 하였으며 2회에 걸친사전조사를 통해 128개의 감정 표현어를 도출하였으며, 키워드 스코어 기법과 카드 소팅 기법을 활용하여 12개의 UX경험요소로 정리하였으며 각각의 체험적 경험 분류를 하였다. 연구 결과 AR콘텐츠 모바일 앱 경험 개수와 각 UX경험 요소의상관관계를 분석하였으나 모든 요소가 상관관계가 있다는 결과가 나오지는 않았다. 또한 AR콘텐츠 모바일 앱 사용 개수와체험 특성 비교 결과 ‘참여적 경험 특성’은 AR콘텐츠 모바일 앱 사용수가 많아질수록 평균값이 높게 나왔다. 그러나 ‘참여적 경험 특성‘ 중 ’체험성‘과 ’개인성‘이 높을수록 경험한 앱의 개수는 오히려 감소하는 경향을 보이고 있다.이러한 연구 결과는 향후 MZ세대를 위한 AR콘텐츠 모바일 앱 제작과 발전에 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구는 모바일 세대에 최적화된MZ세대가 AR콘텐츠 소비의 주체임은 인지하고 체험적 UX경험 요소의 경향성을 부각시켰음에 의의를 두고자 한다.
