저자들은 발열과 복통을 주소로 입원한 환아에서 연속적으로 요통 및 둔부 동통을 보여 실시한 자기 공명촬영상 요추 부위의 척추 경막외 농양을 진단하고 수술하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Spinal epidural abscess(SEA) is a rare condition in children. Classic symptoms are spinal ache, root pain, weakness and paralysis. The earliest symptoms of SEA in the pediatric age group are nonspecific and variable. Early diagnosis may be almost impossible when local spinal pain is inconspicuous or absent, when toxic epiphenomena divert attention from subtle signs of neurologic dysfunction and when the patient is an acutely distressed and uncooperative child. Failure to diagnosis and treat condition on a timely basis may lead to permanent neurolgic dysfunction or even death. This infection, usually located in the dorsal epidural space of the mid thoracic or lower lumbar regions, is the result of hematogenous dissemination of bacteria, usually Staphylococci, from foci of infection in the skin, or respiratory or urinary tracts. MRI was the diagnostic method of choice. A combination of antibiotics and surgical drainage remains the treatment of choice. Prognosis is excellent if surgery is performed before the development of neurologic deficit. We report a case of SEA in a child whose first presenting symptom was abdominal pain rather than spinal pain. A case is diagnosed by MRI and successfully treated with laminectomy and drainage and antibiotics.
The role of Nurses in the Korean War

It is meaningful in that it can be used as valuable data in modern nursing by exploring the meaning and essence of the experiences experienced as women and nurses in the special situation of war to understand their experiences. To find the role of nurses in the war, the research was classified into primary data and secondary data. Among the many data, only those with high external and internal evaluations were selected and analyzed. However subjective opinions were not included. At a time when women's social advancement was difficult, the nurse faithfully fulfilled the role of a nurse on the battlefield, and as a result, it became a new channel for women's social advancement. Nurses performed various roles, such as nursing for soldiers wounded in the Korean War, as well as midwifery and health education for the general public. In this way, during the Korean War, both inside and outside the battlefield, nurses performed all the roles they could in their respective positions. Nursing activities on the battlefield have taken their true value in line with the characteristics of nursing education based on holistic nursing, integrated thinking, love for humanity, and dedication. Recently, disasters and war zones are increasing worldwide, and the number of nurses required in these fields is also increasing. Based on the research results of past nurses' activities, there is a need for interest and research on the new roles of nurses needed in the present and future society. In addition, while not forgetting the sacrifices of nurses in the past, this spirit must be continued and developed.
Exploring domestic research trends related to church lifelong education

This study analyzed research trends related to lifelong church education through the analysis of academic papers recently published in Korea since 2000 and derived implications for lifelong church education. For the study, a total of 95 studies related to lifelong church education were analyzed among academic papers in domestic journals from 2000 to 2021. Academic papers were classified into research years, published journals, research subjects, research topics, and research methods, and then research trends were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, first, research related to lifelong church education has been activated since 2000 and has shown an increasing trend since 2010. Second, it was found that lifelong church education research has been conducted in various academic journals other than Christian education-related journals. Third, learner-centered research was the most common research subject, and among them, many studies targeting the elderly. Fourth, in relation to the research topic, studies on the role and necessity of lifelong church education were the most dominant, and many studies on the direction of promotion of lifelong church education were also conducted. Fifth, research related to lifelong church education is a theoretical study, and literature research is mainly conducted, and the use of other research methods was insignificant. According to these research results, it can be seen that domestic research trends related to lifelong education in the past 22 years have been focused on discussing the philosophy of lifelong education and theoretical considerations of meaning, role, necessity, and direction of promotion. In addition, it was found that practical approaches such as analysis of demands for life long education and verification of program effectiveness were insufficient. Accordingly, the following conclusions and implications were presented. First, since there are inconsistent views on the concept or definition of lifelong church education, it is necessary to explore the definition, type, and principle of lifelong church education from an integrated perspective, and second, research and application of learners' various objects and forms are necessary. Third, church lifelong education research needs to be continuously carried out and expanded through detailed areas such as development and utilization of church lifelong education programs, verification of effectiveness, and role and competency of instructors. Fourth, in order for large churches to affect small and medium-sized churches, churches must unite to develop regional programs. Fifth, workbooks by subject and case should be developed through religious and seminary-level research on lifelong church education methods, and sixth, national policy support is needed to promote lifelong church education.

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 교사들을 위한 진주검무 지도 프로그램을 개발하는데 있다. 전통문화예술을 체계적으로 교육하고 자원화 할 수 있는 교육 시스템의 개발 보급이 필요하고 이를 구축할 수 있는 교육 시스템이 절실하며, 아직까지 프로그램에 관한 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 진주검무는 우리나라 전통무용 중 하나로서, 무용교육과정에 근거하여 학교 현장에 적용할 수 있는 진주검무 프로그램 개발을 통해 전통무용의 역사적 계승은 물론 무용의 교육적 가치와 중요성에 대해 논의되어진다.

Tuberculous Iliopsoas muscle abscess is a rare manifestation in patient with extrapulmonary tuberculosis and hardly observed in developed country. Paradoxical response to anti-tuberculous medication could make difficult therapeutic decision to clinicians. The authors report a case of tuberculous iliopsoas muscle abscess with multiple intraabdominal and thoracic abscesses in 9 year-old-boy who presented paradoxical response to anti-tuberculous treatment.

전복막지방 탈출로 인한 합병증은 소아에서 매우 드물며 서혜부 탈장과의 감별이 어렵다. 저자들은 술 전 초음파에서 대망 지방을 포함하고 있는 서혜부 탈장으로 진단된 5세 남아의 수술 중 출혈이 합병된 전복막지방탈출증을 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다.

Delayed gastric emptying (DGE) commonly occurs after Nissen fundoplication in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease. Since the understanding of its pathogenesis is insufficient, an effective method of management has not yet been suggested. The authors report a case of a 16-year-old girl with DGE after laparoscopic Nissen fundoplication and treated with intravenous injection of low dose erythromycin.

Current literature review examined the literacy development in children with special needs and intervention strategies that were implemented to promote the emergent literacy development of young children with special needs. This review focused on a shared book reading intervention and its’ procedure and effects on children with special need with 25 studies located by searching the ERIC database from 1986–2010. The results of current review can be summarized by considering the following three critical issues related to generalization and practical implementation for an evidence-based practice for young children with special needs: (a) limited research on children with developmental delays, (b) limited research on children with developmental delays in different settings, and (c) limited research with a single subject design. Each of these three issues is addressed.
