One of the most important goals in mathematics education is to encourage the students to be interested in mathematics through learning by experience as well as the recognition that mathematics is required in everyday life. It is more than improving mathematical thinking skills and problem solving. But in most mathematics classes, instruction with teacher-centered teaching methods are prevalent and students gradually lose interest in mathematics. This study is directed at developing teaching and learning materials for improving achievements of students who lack motivation. For this purpose I focused on the following studies: First, I analyzed teaching methods and learning materials of equation in the middle school textbook. Second, I developed teaching and learning materials of equation in the middle school curriculum. This study shows the development of teaching and learning materials about equations as one of the methods that can improve students motivation towards mathematics as an interesting subject. Teachers should develop comprehensible materials and interesting approaches appropriate to students levels and also actively utilize them in mathematics classes. Furthermore teachers should continue to study to improve learning achievements or effects on whether applying those materials in the classes can cause students to take an interest in it and easily approach to contents.
신규 합성 당지질 함유 리포솜의 In Vitro 안정성

리포솜은 수십~수백 나노미터 크기의 소포체(small vesicle)로서 약물전달에 유용한 구조체이나 체내 혈류 순환계(blood circulatory system)에서 구조적 불안정성에 의해 체내 순환시간이 짧고 세망내피계(reticuloendothelial system)에 의해 소실되어 이를 개선하기 위한 다양한 연구가 시도되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이당류(disaccharide)로서 락토오스와 슈크로스가 1,2-디스테아로일-sn-글리세로-3-포스포에탄올아민(1,2-Distearoylsn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine, DSPE)과 공유결합된 새로운 당-DSPE 유도체를 합성하고 이를 리포솜의 구성성분으로 하는 리포솜을 제조함으로써 리포솜의 표면이 이당으로 수식된 리포솜을 제조하였다. 제조된 리포솜의 입자크기는 대략 100 nm였으며, 표면전하 값은 당이 수식되지 않은 대조군 리포솜이 -10 mV를 나타내었으나 당-DSPE 유도체를 함유한 리포솜의 경우 리포솜 표면에 존재하는 당의 수산화기에 의하여 표면전하의 값은 -25 mV를 나타내었다. 리포솜 내부에 모델약물인 독소루비신(doxorubicin)의 로딩효율은 약 90%를 나타내었다. 당-DSPE 유도체 함유 리포솜의 in vitro 안정성은 혈청 내에서 단백흡착량의 변화 및 리포솜의 입자크기를 관찰하여 평가하였다. 당-인지질 유도체를 함유한 리포솜은 당-인지질 유도체를 함유하지 않은 리포솜 또는 폴리에틸렌글리콜(PEG) 수식 리포솜에 비해 단백흡착의 양과 혈청 내 입자크기의 변화가 적은 것으로 관찰되었다. 이당이 결합된 DSPE와 이를 함유한 리포솜은 혈액내 안정성이 향상되어 체순환계 내에서 장시간 순환이 가능한 약물전달체로서 유용할 것이라 사료된다. Liposomes having particle size from several tens to hundreds nanometers are efficient carriers for injectable drug delivery. Enhancement of liposome stability in bloodstream has been studied because of its relatively short circulation time and fast clearance from human body by reticuloendothelial system (RES) in blood vessel. In this study, new disaccharide-1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine (DSPE) derivatives in which lactose or sucrose as the disaccharide molecule was conjugated covalently to DSPE were synthesized. Liposomes of which surface had disaccharide molecules were prepared by incorporating the disaccharide-DSPE into liposomes as one of their lipid components. Particle size of the prepared liposomes was approximately 100 nm. The liposomes of which surface were modified with the disaccharide-DSPE showed -25 mV of zeta potential value due to the presence of hydroxyl groups on their surface, while the unmodified control liposomes showed -10 mV of zeta potential value. Loading efficiency of model drug, doxorubicin, into liposomes was about 90%. Stability of the disaccharide-modified liposomes in vitro was evaluated by monitoring the amount of protein adsorption and particle size of the liposomes in serum. Disaccharide-modified liposomes were more stable in serum than unmodified control liposomes or polyethyleneglycol (PEG)-modified liposomes due to less adsorption of serum protein and hence less increase of their particle size. The liposomes of which surface was modified with disaccharide-DSPE conjugate can be used as long-circulating carriers for drugs having high toxicity or short half-life time due to their enhanced stability in blood circulatory system.
독소루비신을 함유하고 단백질로 수식된 양이온성 리포솜의 제조 및 혈장 단백흡착 특성

나노 또는 마이크로 크기를 가지는 구형의 약물 전달체이다. 그러나 일반적인 리포솜은 혈류 순환시 혈장 단백질과의 흡착이 일어나 안정성이 떨어지고, 세망내피계의 대식세포에 의해 옵소닌작용이 일어나 혈중에서 쉽게 소실되는 단점이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 모델단백질로 소혈청 알부민(BSA)을 사용하였고, BSA의 등전점보다 높은 pH를 나타내는 수용액에 용해하여 BSA가 음이온성을 갖도록 제조하였으며 이를 양이온성 리포솜 표면에 정전기적 인력에 의해 결합시켰다. 그리고 리포솜 표면에 코팅된 알부민을 60oC 이상의 온도에서 변성시켜 알부민이 코팅된 리포솜을 제조하였다. 대조 리포솜과 양이온성 리포솜의 입자크기는 104±1nm를 나타내었고, 변성된 알부민이 결합된 리포솜은 109±1nm의 입자크기를 나타내었다. 모델약물로서는 독소루비신(doxorubicin, DOX)을 사용하였고, 이온구배에 의한 리모트 로딩 방법을 사용하여 리포솜 내부에 DOX를 봉입시켰다. 혈장 내에서 리포솜의 안정성을 평가한 결과, 알부민이 결합된 리포솜은 입자크기의 변화가 관찰되지 않았고, 대조 리포솜과 양이온 리포솜에 비해 단백질 흡착이 억제되어 변성된 알부민으로 코팅된 리포솜은 혈류 내에서 장기 순환이 가능한 약물전달체로서 유용할 것이라 사료된다. are nanometer or micrometer scale vesicles that can be used as drug delivery carriers. However, plain liposomes are plagued by rapid opsonization, making their circulation time in bloodstream be shortened. In this study, model protein, bovine serum albumin (BSA)-coated liposomes were prepared by coating cationic liposomes with BSA molecules at higher pH than isoelectric point of BSA. The BSA molecules coated on the liposomal surface were denatured by thermal treatment at above 60oC. While both plain and cationic liposomes had about mean particle diameter of 1041 nm, BSA-coated cationic liposomes (BCL) had mean particle diameter of 1091 nm. Encapsulation of model drug, doxorubicin (DOX), in liposomes were carried out by using remote loading method and the loading efficiency of DOX to liposomes was about 90%. The mean particle diameter of BCL did not increase in blood plasma and adsorption of plasma protein was much less than plain or cationic liposomes. These results suggest that BCL can be used as a long-circulating liposomes in bloodstream.

This study is aimed at examining the usefulness of mugwort as an alternative of western herb by making widely known tomato sauce with mugwort powder added, the ingredient that has a bio-active substance. The control group showed the highest percentage of water from tomato sauce, 89.24%. The sauce with mugwort added in by 2% showed the lowest pH, 4.55. The brightness L value for chromaticity got lower significantly (p>0.001) as the amount of added mugwort increased, and red a value and yellow b value were high in the control group for 18.06 and 16.84 respectively, and got reduced as the amount of added mugwort increased. The salinity was the highest in the sauce mugwort added in by 2% for 1.02. Sugar content and reducing sugar were the lowest in the sauce mugwort added in by 2% for 9.49 and 56.01. As measuring total count change, no microorganism was found until $10^{th}$ day of storage, and was 0% $1.7{\times}10^3CFU/mL$ on the $15^{th}$ day, and no microorganism was found in the 1.5% and 2% added groups. Lastly for 60 days of storage, the control group without mugwort showed the highest microorganism count for $3.1{\times}10^8CFU/mL$ In a sensory test, color was in the 1% added group was 5.28, higher than the control group which showed 4.78, but there was no significant difference. Taste was rated most highly in the 1.5% added group for 5.65. After taste was also rated most highly in the 1.5% added group for 5.8. Overall preference was the highest in the 1% added group for 5.79. From the results, tomato sauce with mugwort added in showed the high storage capacity and was rated highly in the preference test. The possibility of the alternative of western spice and the potential to use Korean spice for other western spice were observed again.
