Objectives: We recently experienced one case of Transverse Myelitis. We would introduce the clinical report it Methods: In the point of Differentiation of Syndrome, these subjects were diagnosed as Wejeung(Weizheng;?證). We treated here with acupuncture. moxa, physical theraphy and herbal medication Results & Conclusions: Symptoms of the patient of this report were improved after above treatment. So it is suggested that oriental medical treatment is effective in Transverse Myelitis
석회보르도액 살포가 거봉포도의 노균병 발생에 미치는 영향

Bordeaux mixture made with each grade of lime and copper sulfate was tested general property and disease control value. Bordeaux mixture was made by composition of each grade of lime (95%, 80%) with each grade of copper sulfate(98.5%, 95%). Phytotoxicity was evaluated to Bordeaux mixture made with each grade of lime and copper sulfate, and then low grade copper sulfate (95%) was more severely in the grapevine leaf. Bordeaux mixture, made with each grade lime and copper sulfate, were tried to evaluate control effects of downy mildew in field. As a result, Bordeaux mixture (95% of lime and 98.5% of copper sulfate, 6-6) applied 5 times at late in June was showed more effective disease control value than any other trials of Bordeaux mixture. There was no difference in nutrient status of petiole each treatment. But fruit characteristics were shown more slightly improved quality.

Objective : We used herbal medicine to treat various disease and also to keep good general condition of children. We aimed to evaluate the effect of herbal medicine on the growth of children treated with herbal medicine. Method: We studied 187 children who visited the department of Pediatrics, KyungHee Oriental Medical Hospital from March 2004 to August 2004. They meet condition as follows; they were treated for more than 6 months and they visited our clinic more than 3 times. Whenever patients visited our hospital, we measured their height, body weight and obesity degree using DS-102(dszenix, Seoul). We measured height percentile of first time visit, and that of last time visit. And we compared them using the Growth Statistics Curve made by the Korean Association of Pediatrics, 1998. Results : The mean growth of total children showed 4.04 percentile upwardly; the growth- up percentile of boys was 4.52 and that of girls was 3.26. Analysis according to disease resulted as follows; children with respiratory disease showed 10.29 percentile growth-up, digestive disease 4.21percentile, urinary disease 4 percentile, allergic disease 2.65 percentile, weak children 2.52 percentile and other disease 3.19 percentile. Conclusion : Herbal medical treatment helped growth not only in children who took medicine for growth retardation problem but children with various disease. Moreover herbal medical treatment applied to keep good general condition of children also gave positive effect on the growth of children.

현재 센서 네트워크기반에 다양한 적용으로 인하여 데이터 통신에 량이 많아지고 있다. 기존에 환경모니터링 등과 같이 조도, 온도, 습도를 다루는 것에서 ECG, EKG, GPS등과 같은 비교적 센서 네트워크 환경에서 대용량 데이터를 다루어지고 있다. 이러한 점은 희박한 자원을 바탕하는 USN환경에서 문제가 된다. 이 문제는 기존 연구 방향에서 데이터를 더 적게 전송하여 더 많은 정보를 주는 것에 포커스가 되었다. 하지만 이는 근본적으로 해결될 수 없다. 본 제안된 알고리즘은 데이터를 효율적으로 압축함으로서 이를 해결하였다.

This paper presents new speed control strategy for periodic load torque injected in AC motor. If motor drive system has a periodic load torque, it causes a periodic motor speed ripple bringing about vibrations and noises. This paper proposed new control method consisting of PIR(proportional-integral-resonant) controller and repetitive controller. PIR controller controls DC, low frequency and fundamental components and repetitive controller controls other harmonics. The performance has been verified through computer simulations using MATLAB Simulink and experiments.
