Usefulness of Intravenous Anesthesia Using a Target-controlled Infusion System with Local Anesthesia in Submuscular Breast Augmentation Surgery

Background Patients have anxiety and fear of complications due to general anesthesia. Through new instruments and local anesthetic drugs, a variety of anesthetic methods have been introduced. These methods keep hospital costs down and save time for patients. In particular, the target-controlled infusion (TCI) system maintains a relatively accurate level of plasma concentration, so the depth of anesthesia can be adjusted more easily. We conducted this study to examine whether intravenous anesthesia using the TCI system with propofol and remifentanil would be an effective method of anesthesia in breast augmentation. Methods This study recruited 100 patients who underwent breast augmentation surgery from February to August 2011. Intravenous anesthesia was performed with 10 mg/mL propofol and 50 μg/mL remifentanil simultaneously administered using two separate modules of a continuous computer-assisted TCI system. The average target concentration was set at 2 μg/mL and 2 ng/mL for propofol and remifentanil, respectively, and titrated against clinical effect and vital signs. Oxygen saturation, electrocardiography, and respiratory status were continuously measured during surgery. Blood pressure was measured at 5-minute intervals. Information collected includes total duration of surgery, dose of drugs administered during surgery, memory about surgery, and side effects. Results Intraoperatively, there was transient hypotension in two cases and hypoxia in three cases. However, there were no serious complications due to anesthesia such as respiratory difficulty, deep vein thrombosis, or malignant hypertension, for which an endotracheal intubation or reversal agent would have been needed. All the patients were discharged on the day of surgery and able to ambulate normally. Conclusions Our results indicate that anesthetic methods, where the TCI of propofol and remifentanil is used, might replace general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation in breast augmentation surgery.

시스템다이내믹스와 인구통계학적 요인을 고려한 증거기반(Evidence-Based) 사회기반시설 정책수요분석

본 연구는 기존 정책 설계 시 발생하는 단편적 통계 분석의 한계를 시스템다이내믹스의 시뮬레이션을 통해 보완한 증거기반 정책수요분석 모형을 제안한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 시스템 다이내믹스를 기반으로 한 시뮬레이션 모형이 현실을 반영한 정책의 근거자료로서 실효성 있는 모델인지를 검증하기 위해 인구주택총조사의 연도별 마이크로 데이터와 시뮬레이션 예측결과 값을 비교분석하였다. 분석결과, 인구주택총조사 마이크로 데이터를 반영한 시스템다이내믹스 시뮬레이션 모델은 연도별 실제 통계치와 오차범위 내 에서 일치하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 증거기반 정책수요분석 모형의 시뮬레이션 예측결과를 기반으로 한 과학적 정책정보가 향후 정책설계와 집행, 평가과정에서 기존 정책정보의 한계를 보완할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

미역분말을 이용한 버터쿠키의 품질특성

The sea mustard, Undaria pinnatifida, has the small value of caloric source as protein and fat but its interest of health food increases resulted from containing affluently bioactive substance such as calcium, iron, alginic acid and taurine. The application of sea mustard, Undaria pinnatifida, into cookie manufacturing was studied with varying the its content. The moisture content for the control cookie with flour is 5.51% and that for the 3% added sea mustard powder is 5.34% and for the 6% added sea mustard powder is 5.30% and for the 9% added sea mustard powder is 5.29%. The moisture in cookie decreases with increasing the amount of brown seaweed. The minerals measurement for the control cookie with flour shows that 3110.26 ppm of Na and 796.67 ppm of K, 795.26 ppm of Ca, 104.29 ppm of Mg are contained but the content of Fe, Al, Zn, Mn and Cu are small relatively. For the cookie added sea mustard powder, the minerals contain rich such as 6868.61 ppm of Ca, 6013.49 ppm of Na, 1636.52 ppm of K, 5758 ppm of Mg. A1so, the other minerals contain poor1y such as the 187.31 ppm of Fe, 167.80 ppm of A1, 20.18 ppm of Zn, 11.98 ppm of Mn and 1.80 ppm of Cu. For the sensory test of cookie with sea mustard powder, the cookies with 3% and 6% sea mustard powder show preference overall.

미용 전공생의 평가염려 완벽주의가 대인관계 문제에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Evaluative Concern Perfectionismon Interpersonal Problems of Beauty StudentsKyujin Chung Abstract: This study was conducted to investigate the level and impact of evaluative concern perfectionism (ECP) and interpersonal problems (IP) in beauty majors. With a questionnaire of 218 students, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and regression analysis were performed. The level of ECP and IP were significantly higher in the upper grades compared to other grades. Among the sub-factors of ECP, concern over mistakes and doubt about performance had a negative (-) effect on IP, and socially prescribed perfectionism had a positive (+) effect. Socially prescribed perfectionism incrased IP, but the the other sub-factors showed different results, requiring a detailed understanding and a differentiated approach. In the future, research is needed to verify the influence and direction of related variables. This thesis was to prove the possibility of aroma essential as alternative medicine in curing AD and its efficacy. The experiment was executed first in relation to animal model and next to AD patients sample. The immunological factors were analysed in animal model and the degree of satisfaction and effectiveness factors were measured in AD patients. For this purpose, the oil mixture was fabricated by blending three essential oils(carrot seed, geranium, lemon : CGL) and one carrier oil(jojoba). CGL ointment was made on the atopy dermatis skin lesions-induced in NC/Nga Mice animal model by DNCB, the artificial AD stinulator. The mixture ratio of each oil was 1(carrot seed) to 1(geranium) to 1 (lemon) on the basis of drop and this mixture was blended with jojoba oil. The dilution ratio of essential oils and carrier oil was 2%. The CGL ointment was made for 8 weeks. AD patients sample was 30 and surveyed by the questionnaire with high reliability. The result of this stury can be outlined as follows: First, the CGL showed positive effect in AD skin features. Second, the thickness of epidermis/dermis was reduced and the infiltration rate of immunocytes was largely decreased compared with that of the control group. Fifth, the respondents answered relatively high degree of satisfaction after using CGL. The degree of satisfaction increases with passage of weeks reaching the highest point fourth week. The results were strongly affirmative. The CGL was effective in elevating immunological capability in animal model and the response of AD patients was affirmative. These results mean that aroma essential oil can possibly be used widely for human kind. For this, the more sophisticated further rersearches are needed 본 연구에서는 부작용의 가능성이 적어 인체에 안전한 천연오일을 이용한 아토피 개선 오일의 효능을 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 기초 자료검색과 임상을 통하여 가능성이 있을 것으로 사료되는 캐롯 시드, 제라늄, 레몬, 호호바를 혼합하여 아토피 피부염 동물 모델인 Nc/Nga Mice를 통해 피부염 실험을 하고, 이 오일을 아토피 피부염 환자를 대상으로 효능 평가를 실시하였는바, 동물실험에서 아토피 피부염을 개선시키는 효과가 있음을 알았고 임상에서 아토피 환자를 대상으로 아토피 피부염 개선제제로서의 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 보다 광범위한 임상연구를 시도하고자 한다.

The Level and Influence Relationship of Job Anxiety,Job Esteem and Career Indecision on Cosmetology MajorsWho Experienced COVID-19Kyujin Chung Abstract: In this study, the effects of job anxiety and job esteem change due to COVID-19 on Career indecision were investigated for cosmetology majors. A total of 377 responses were analyzed using ANOVA and regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, job anxiety, job esteem, and career indecision levels of cosmetology students were significantly higher in upper grades than in the lower grades, and the higher the job anxiety, the greater the need for career decision was recognized. However, this study has methodological limitations in that it was sampled from a specific region and used a self-report questionnaire, and it is thought that various qualitative research methods are needed for subsequent studies. 본 논문에서는 변이가 큰 약물(HVD)의 생동성 평가 문제와 이를 해결하기 위하여 지금까지 수행된 연구 결과들을 소개한다. 우리나라를 비롯한 세계 여러 나라에서 현재 사용하는 전통적 생동성 평가규정 중에서 HVD에 적용 가능한 방법들과 HVD 문제 해결을 주된 목적으로 고안된 방법들로 나누어 살펴본다. 특히 scaled average bioequivalence(SABE)에 대한 연구 결과들을 통계학적인 관점에서 검토하며 SABE를 이용하여 수행하는 생동성 평가 방법에 대해 알아보고 추후 연구주제 등에 대해서도 논의한다. This paper reviews the definition of highly variable drug(HVD), the present regulatory recommendations and the approaches proposed in the literature to deal with the bioequivalence issues of HVD. The concept and the statistical approach of scaled average bioequivalence(SABE) is introduced and discussed with the current regulatory methods. The recommendations for SABE approach are proposed and the further study topics related to HVDs are also presented.

Facial soft tissue injury due to trauma is common. Severe damage of soft tissue causes functional and cosmetic problems. In the initial evaluation of patients with facial trauma, airway maintenance and respiratory maintenance are the most important. The principles of treatment include adequate irrigation and debridement, primary closure, or secondary wound healing. Postoperative care such as taping, silicone gel sheeting, and sun screening is important to prevent scarring. The scalp and forehead are abundant in blood and can cause severe bleeding. The eyelid is very thin and has a multi-layered structure, requiring accurate suturing and reconstruction of the layers. It is advisable to determine the presence of hematoma in the ear and treat it. When the cheek area is damaged, it is necessary to identify and treat the damage of the parotid gland and the facial nerve branch. The lips should be sewn with the white roll of lip and vermillion.
