SOI 웨이퍼를 이용한 Top emission 방식 AMOLEDs의 스위칭 소자용 단결정 실리콘 트랜지스터

We fabricated a single crystal silicon thin film transistor for active matrix organic light emitting displays(AMOLEDs) using silicon on insulator wafer (SOI wafer). Poly crystal silicon thin film transistor(poly-Si TFT) Is actively researched and developed nowsdays for a pixel switching devices of AMOLEDs. However, poly-Si TFT has some disadvantages such as high off-state leakage currents and low field-effect mobility due to a trap of grain boundary in active channel. While single crystal silicon TFT has many advantages such as high field effect mobility, low off-state leakage currents, low power consumption because of the low threshold voltage and simultaneous integration of driving ICs on a substrate. In our experiment, we compared the property of poly-Si TFT with that of SOI TFT. Poly-Si TFT exhibited a field effect mobility of 34 $\textrm{cm}^2$/Vs, an off-state leakage current of about l${\times}$10$\^$-9/ A at the gate voltage of 10 V, a subthreshold slope of 0.5 V/dec and on/off ratio of 10$\^$-4/, a threshold voltage of 7.8 V. Otherwise, single crystal silicon TFT on SOI wafer exhibited a field effect mobility of 750 $\textrm{cm}^2$/Vs, an off-state leakage current of about 1${\times}$10$\^$-10/ A at the gate voltage of 10 V, a subthreshold slope of 0.59 V/dec and on/off ratio of 10$\^$7/, a threshold voltage of 6.75 V. So, we observed that the properties of single crystal silicon TFT using SOI wafer are better than those of Poly Si TFT. For the pixel driver in AMOLEDs, the best suitable pixel driver is single crystal silicon TFT using SOI wafer.
Sn-Ag-Cu-In-(Mn, Pd) 무연솔더의 솔더링성과 BGA 접합부 신뢰성

Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu 무연솔더에서 Ag 함량의 감소는 기계적 충격 신뢰성 향상에 도움이 되는 반면 솔더링성을 저하시키는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 저 Ag함유 무연솔더의 솔더링성 향상을 위해 In을 첨가한 Sn-1.2Ag-0.7Cu-0.4In 4원계 조성과 여기에 미량의 Mn 및 Pd을 첨가한 무연솔더 조성에 대하여 솔더 젖음성을 평가하고, 보드 레벨 BGA 패키지의 열싸이클링 및 기계적 충격 신뢰성을 평가하였다. Sn-1.2Ag-0.7Cu 조성에 0.4 wt% In을 첨가한 합금의 젖음성은 Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu에 근접한 수준으로 향상되었으나, 패키지의 열싸이클링 신뢰성은 Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu에 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. Sn-1.2Ag-0.7Cu-0.4In 조성에 0.03 wt% Pd의 첨가는 솔더 젖음성 및 패키지 신뢰성을 저하시킨 반면에 0.1 wt% Mn을 첨가한 합금은 특히 기계적 충격 신뢰성이 Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu는 물론 Sn-1.0Ag-0.5Cu보다도 우수한 수준으로 향상되었는데, 이는 Mn 첨가가 합금의 모듈러스를 감소시킨 데에 기인하는 것으로 생각된다. Although the lowering of Ag content in Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu is known to improve the mechanical shock reliability of the solder joint, it is also known to be detrimental to the solderbility. In this study, the quaternary alloying effect of In and the minor alloying effects of Mn and Pd on the solderability, thermal cycling and mechanical shock reliabilities of the low Ag content Sn-1.2Ag-0.7Cu solder were investigated using board-level BGA packages. The solderability of Sn-1.2Ag-0.7Cu-0.4In was proved to be comparable to that of Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu but its thermal cycling reliability was inferior to that of Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu. While the 0.03 wt% Pd addition to the Sn-1.2Ag-0.7Cu-0.4In decreased the solderability and reliabilities of solder joint, the 0.1 wt% Mn addition was proved to be beneficial especially for the mechanical shock reliability compared to those of Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu and Sn-1.0Ag-0.5Cu compositions. It was considered to be due that the Mn addition decreased the Young's modulus of low Ag content Pb-free solders.

The meaning of "public performance" has recently extended in Korea. Now, in view of the Korean Supreme Court, public performance includes rental, lease or lending audiovisual recordings with AV equipment and rooms. It makes the limits of acknowledgment of public performance rights ambiguous. In addition, it reduces the public domain, which had not been covered by the exclusive right granted by copyright law. It is absolutely against Article 1 of the Korean Copyright Act. It also has necessarily brought rapidly increasing criminal copyright infringement cases. The application of criminal codes should be done by the strict interpretation. However, many of the recent decisions by the Korean courts have been against this principle. The Principle of Subsidiarity and Analogy Prohibition even seems to be discarded in public performance rights related cases. The range and limit of public performance rights should be reexamined. As a premise of the reexamination, a clear distinction between public performance and rental/lease/lending should be made. The meaning of "public performance" in the Korean Copyright Act should be consistent with that in the everyday usage of general public. A revision of the Korean Copyright Act will also be a good suggestion. Making a definition clause for rental/lease/lending might be helpful in establishing a firm standard which can be used to prevent the court from unjustifiably expanded application of public performance infringement clauses.

전력계통 주파수의 안정적인 유지를 위해 IEEE 1547에서 Droop 기능에 대한 구체적인 가이드라인을 제시하고 있다. 하지만, IEEE 1547는 일반적인 대형 전력계통에 맞게 설계되어, 소규모 전력계통에는 적합하지 않을 수 있다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 소규모 독립형 마이크로그리드에 분산전원이 연계될 때, IEEE 1547의 주파수 Droop 가이드라인을 만족하더라도 계통의 붕괴를 야기할 수 있음을 보여주고 소규모 전력계통의 주파수 안정도 확보를 위해서는 새로운 가이드라인이 필요하다는 것을 강조하고자 한다.
전장유전체수준 메틸레이션 분석을 통한 두경부암 특이 메틸레이션 바이오마커의 발굴

Methylation of CpG islands in the promoter region of genes acts as a significant mechanism of epigenetic gene silencing in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). DNA methylation markers are particularly advantageous because DNA methylation is an early event in tumorigenesis, and the epigenetic modification, 5-methylcytosine, is a stable mark. In the present study, we assessed the genome-wide preliminary screening and were to identify novel methylation biomarker candidate in HNSCC. Genome-wide methylation analysis was performed on 10 HNSCC tumors using the Methylated DNA Isolation Assay (MeDIA) CpG island microarray. Validation was done using immunohistochemistry using tissue microarray of 135 independent HNSCC tumors. In addition, in vitro proliferation, migration/invasion assays, RT-PCR and immunoblotting were performed to elucidate molecular regulating mechanisms. Our preliminary validation using CpG microarray data set, immunohisto-chemistry for HNSCC tumor tissues and in vitro functional assays revealed that methylation of the Homeobox B5 (HOXB5) and H6 Family Homeobox 2 (HMX2) could be possible novel methylation biomarkers in HNSCC.
다변측정감시시스템 신호 입력 시각 정밀 측정을 위한 DRS(Delayed Reference Sample)를 이용한 Cross Correlation 방안 연구

다변측정감시시스템은 탑재 트랜스폰더에서 전송되는 신호를 지상에 설치된 여러 수신기에서 획득하고 각각의 수신기의 신호 획득시간의 차를 이용하여 표적의 위치를 계산한다. TDOA(Time Difference Of Arrival) 계산 방법을 이용하는 다변측정감시시스템의 위치정확도에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 요소 중 하나는 신호 입력 시각 측정 시 발생하는 오차이다. 수신기에서 신호 입력 시각을 측정할 경우 수신기의 기준 클럭을 이용하여 입력 신호를 샘플링하고 동일한 샘플링 레이트를 가지는 기준 샘플(Reference Sample)을 Cross Correlation 기법에 적용한다. 따라서 신호 입력 시각의 정밀도는 기준 클럭에 비례한다. 본 논문에서는 기준 샘플과 이를 샘플링 레이트보다 작은 시간으로 기준 샘플을 지연시킨 다수의 샘플(DRS, Delayed Reference Sample)을 수신기의 입력신호와 Cross Correlation을 수행하여 신호 입력 시각을 보다 정밀하게 측정하기 위한 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 이를 검증하기 위해 Matlab을 이용하여 타겟에서 송출하는 트랜스폰더의 펄스 신호를 구현하였으며 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안한 DRS와 입력신호와의 Cross Correlation을 수행하였다. 이 결과로부터 신호 입력 시각 정밀 측정의 성능을 분석하였다. Multilateration acquires the transponder signal of target from receivers installed on the ground and calculates the position of the target using the difference of the signal acquisition time of each receiver. One of the factors that influence the positioning accuracy of Multilateration using the TDOA calculation method is the error due to the precision measurement of signal input time. When measuring the signal input time at the receiver, the input signal is sampled using the reference clock of the receiver and a reference sample having the same sampling rate is applied to the cross correlation technique. Therefore, the accuracy of the signal input time is proportional to the reference clock. In this paper, the algorithm for precisely measuring the signal input time by performing cross correlation between the input signal of the receiver and DRS(Delayed Reference Sample) is proposed. In order to verify this, we implemented the pulse signal of the transponder that is transmitted from the target using Matlab. Through the simulation, cross correlation between the proposed DRS and the input signal was performed. From this result, the performance of the precise measurement of signal input time was analyzed.
