배양중인 생쥐 난자의 성숙에 미치는 배양액 내 calcim의 영향을 알아보기 위하여 1.71mM $Ca^{2+}$을 처리한 배양액과 $Ca^{2+}$이 존재하지 않는 배양액에서 난자를 배양하여 불꽃 원자 흡수 분광 광도계를 이용하여 배양된 난자의 $Ca^{2+}$농도를 측정하였다. 1) $Ca^{2+}$처리한 배양액에서 배양된 cumulus-cell이 제거된 (denuded oocyte)난자들은 시간이 지남에 따라 $Ca^{2+}$농도가 높게 나타났고, 2) $Ca^{2+}$처리하지 않은 배양액에서는 denuded난자는 3시간째 배양될때 부터 $Ca^{2+}$양이 줄어 들었다. Cumulus-enclosed난자는 $Ca^{2+}$존재하에서는 GVBD가 일어났다고 생각되는 4시간까지 계속 증가를 보인 반면 $Ca^{2+}-free$에서는 배양되지 않은 난자와 거의 차이가 없게 나타났다. 3) 핵막붕괴가 일어난 후부터 15시간까지 배양시컸을 때에는 CEO와 denuded oocyte에서 공히 $Ca^{2+}$의 농도는 다시 증가된 상태로 계속 되었다. 이런 결과로 미루어 보아 난자 성숙시 부터 성숙과정이 끝날때가지 exteral $Ca^{2+}$이 요구되고 있음을 증명해 주고있다. 그러나 이러한 세포질내의 $Ca^{2+}$및 bound calcium이 난자 성숙시부터 어떤 역활을 하고 있는 기작에 대해서는 좀 더 연구가 있어야겠다.

헬기 무장계통 체계개발 시 최우선 목표는 명중률 등과 같은 성능 충족이다. 본 논문에서는 헬기용 무장계통 체계개발 시 예상되는 위험요소를 판단하기 위하여 K1A1전차, K1전차포술 모의훈련장비, K2전차‧K21보병전투차량‧K30자주대공포 등의 타 사업 사격통제체계 전력화 사례를 분석하였다. 지상장비의 무장계통 개발 사례를 분석하고 헬기용 무장계통의 특성을 고려하여 일정 지연 등의 위험 요소에 대한 대안을 제시하였다.
업사이클 패션 브랜드의 디자인 분석 - 래코드(RE;CODE)를 중심으로 -

The purpose of this study was to research future prospects for upcycle fashion design through an analysis of “RE;CODE,” a Korean upcycle fashion brand. This study’s methodology involved collecting and analyzing relevant books, magazines, newspapers, and materials from other media (the Internet and broadcast) in comparison with preceding studies. Three hundred and sixty-four photos from the 2012 F/W to the 2016 F/W collections on RE;CODE’s website were analyzed. Topics such as color matching, fabric mix, and deconstruction and reconstruction aspects were considered along with the design elements of silhouette, color, material, and item combination, commonly emphasized in upcycle fashion design. The following results were found. An H silhouette with a modern sensibility was most common, and the prevalence of an O silhouette has increased recently, reflecting the oversize trend. In terms of item combination, the combination of outerwear, shirt, and pants was prevalent. There were many cases of fabrics mixing, which reflected the characteristics of upcycle design and expressed the uniqueness and scarcity value of an experimental material mix. Achromatic colors dominated, emphasizing modern sensibilities and the influence of color matching with various monotones. Because many patterns were expressed using the deconstruction and reconstruction of details, patternless fabrics were the most common, but checks, stripes, and camouflage also appeared. Deconstruction and reconstruction in upcycling were most common in tops, in sleeves or peplums, and, in some cases of color matching, with the design line on the bodice. RE;CODE demonstrated characteristic designs using fabric matching among various fabrics and unique experimental combinations, features which contribute to the development of upcycle fashion and have positive effects on environmental preservation.

Background/Aims: Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR)-γ ligand is known to inhibit the growth of several kinds of cancer cells, yet its effect on cholangiocarcinoma is indecisive. We investigated the effect of an endogenous ligand of PPAR-γ, 15-deoxy-δ (12,14)-prostaglandin J2 (15-deoxy-PGJ2) on cholangiocarcinoma cells that were established from intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma tissue of Korean patients. Methods: Four cholangiocarcinoma cell lines, Cho-CK, Choi-CK, JCK and SCK, were studied. The mRNA expression of PPAR-γ, bcl-2, and bax were examined by RT-PCR. Cell viability was determined by MTT assay. The cell cycle was analyzed by flow cytometry, and apoptosis by cell death detection ELISA kit. Caspase activity was measured by colorimetric assay. The effect of caspase inhibitors on 15-deoxy-PGJ2-induced apoptosis was determined by measuring cell viability using the MTT assay. Results: PPAR-γ mRNA was expressed in all cholangiocarcinoma cells. 15-deoxy-PGJ2 inhibited proliferation of all cells in a dose- and time-dependent manner. All cells treated with 15-deoxy-PGJ2 showed increased dose-dependent apoptosis. Caspase 3 was activated in all cells and caspase 9 was activated in all but JCK cells after 15-deoxy-PGJ2 treatment. Caspase 8 activity showed no significant change. The pan-caspase inhibitor, Z-VAD-FMK, and the caspase-3 inhibitor, Z-DEVD-FMK, blocked 15-deoxy-PGJ2-induced apoptosis in all cells dose-dependently. The expression of bcl-2 was decreased in Cho-CK, Choi-CK and SCK cells, and bax expression was not changed significantly after 15-deoxy-PGJ2 treatment. Conclusions: PPAR-γ mRNA was expressed in all Korean cholangiocarcinoma cells. Our data suggest that 15-deoxy-PGJ2 exerts an antineoplastic effect against cholangiocarcinoma cells by inducing apoptosis through caspase activation. (Korean J Med 78:75-86, 2010)

The etiology of Crohn`s disease, which is a chronic inflammatory condition that potentially involves any location of the alimentary tract from the mouth to the anus, is unknown. However, there is strong evidence that vascular damage could play a role in the pathogenesis of Crohn`s disease. Crohn`s disease is mediated by multifocal gastrointestinal infarctions, which occur at an early stage in the disease process. Persistent activation of coagulation in patients with Crohn`s disease has been shown. In contrast, hemophilia is an inherited disorder of coagulation. The deficiencies of clotting factors usually involve occult or overt bleeding. The pathogenic mechanisms of Crohn`s disease and hemophilia are incompatible. An association between Crohn`s disease and hemophilia has not been reported in Korea. We managed 21- and 33-year-old men with Crohn`s disease associated with hemophilia, who presented with hematochezia. (Intest Res 2011;9:9-39)
