        엑시머레이저 치료를 경험했던 백반증 환자가 한방복합치료와 엑시머레이저 병행치료로 호전된 치험 4례

        Purpose: This study aims to prove effects of an oriental medical complex therapy on vitiligo patients who have experienced the Eximer laser therapy. Method: The study conducted its investigation targeting these four patients who have not been observed with any satisfactory reaction to the Eximer laser therapy. The study analyzed the findings through the comparison on the pictures before and after the therapy. Result: After comparing the pictures, the study confirmed positive changes in the conditions of the patients. The oriental medical complex therapy turned out to be effective enough to treat the patients who have gone through the Eximer laser therapy before. Conclusion: Such result leads the study to a conclusion that the oriental medical complex therapy can be an effective way to treat these patients who do not have a satisfactory reaction to the Eximer laser therapy. In addition, the author of the study suggests that more clinical trials should be conducted.

        요추 추간판 탈출증 수술 실패 증후군 환자에 대한 보존적 치료 치험 3례

        Objectives : The propose of this study is to find out the clinical application of conservative treatment for Failed Back Surgery Syndrome(FBSS) patients. Methods : We examined 3 patients with Failed Back Surgery Syndrome(FBSS) who visited Jaseng Hospital of Oriental Medicine. We used Acupuncture, Bee venom, CHUNA manual therapy, Herbal medication for this patient. And we measured of NRS score to evaluate the conservative treatment effects. Results : In this study, patients sciatica and symptoms has improved. NRS score were also decreased. Conclusions : Conservative oriental medical treatment can be effective for improving symptoms of Failed Back Surgery Syndrome.

        폴리머 굽힘센서를 이용한 손의 형상 추정과 로봇 팔 제어 연구

        초음파 로봇 검사시스템은 발전설비 등 상시감시가 요구되는 구조물의 감시를 위해 연구와 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 설비의 구조물은 형상과 구조가 매우 다양하고 복잡하여 단순한 패턴으로 이동과 검사가 가능한 로봇으로는 상시감시에 한계를 가지게 된다. 복잡한 구조물의 정밀검사는 정교한 행동이 가능한 로봇 시스템이 필요하다. 로봇의 제어를 초음파검사 작업자의 손의 형상에 따라 직관적으로 움직이도록 한다면 보다 정밀한 검사 로봇의 개발이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 폴리머 굽힘센서는 대변형의 측정이 가능하고 곡면에 적용성이 높아 최근 인체 형상 측정 및 재활보조 등 다양한 활용을 위한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 구조물의 상시감시를 위한 초음파검사 로봇이 작업자의 손동작에 따라 동작이 가능한 직관적 제어를 위해 폴리머 굽힘센서를 이용하여 사람 손의 형상 감시 연구를 수행하였다. 다수의 센서를 적용하여 손의 다양한 움직임을 추정하고 실험적 검증을 통해 사람 손의 형상에 따른 직관적 로봇의 제어가 가능함을 확인하였다. Ultrasonic inspection robot systems have been widely researched and developed for the real-time monitoring of structures such as power plants. However, an inspection robot that is operated in a simple pattern has limitations in its application to various structures in a plant facility because of the diverse and complicated shapes of the inspection objects. Therefore, accurate control of the robot is required to inspect complicated objects with high-precision results. This paper presents the idea that the shape and movement information of an ultrasonic inspector's hand could be profitably utilized for the accurate control of robot. In this study, a polymer flex sensor was applied to monitor the shape of a human hand. This application was designed to intuitively control an ultrasonic inspection robot. The movement and shape of the hand were estimated by applying multiple sensors. Moreover, it was successfully shown that a test robot could be intuitively controlled based on the shape of a human hand estimated using polymer flex sensors.

        한의치료로 호전된 치핵 환자 증례보고 4례

        Objectives: This study was designed to evaluate the effect of Korean medicine treatment on four cases involving hemorrhoid patients. Methods: Four patients suffering from hemorrhoids were treated with Korean medicine treatment, such as herbal medicine, and acupuncture. Patients were diagnosed using pictures of the anus, which were used to compare before and after treatment and to evaluate treatment efficacy. Results: After treatment, the symptoms of pain and other complaints conspicuously improved. Conclusions: As indicated by before and after treatment pictures of the anus and decreased symptoms, Korean medicine treatment is effective in treating hemorrhoids.

        남성 입원환자들의 맥파속도에 따른 요통 호전도의 비교 연구

        Objectives : The aim of this study is to compare the improvement of Low back pain (LBP) depending on male Inpatient's Brachlalankle Pulse Wave Velocity (baPWV), Method : We evaluated 35 LBP inpatients who took pulse wave velocity test during admission at Jaseng hospital from November 2008 to september 2009. We used applanation tonometry method to measure pulse wave velocity and numerical rating scale to measure patient's improvement. Result : At admission, standard deviation of normal group's NRS was $7.44{\pm}1.67$ and high risk group's was $7.57{\pm}2.09$(P=0.678). After 5 days of admission, standard deviation of normal group's NRS was $5.67{\pm}1.94$ and high risk group's was $6.00{\pm}2.17$(P=0.680). After 10 days of admission, standard deviation of normal group's NRS was $4.00{\pm}1.80$ and high risk group's was $4.95{\pm}1.96$(P=0.281). After 15 days of admission, standard deviation of normal group's NRS was $2.89{\pm}1.62$ and high risk group's was $4.10{\pm}1.92$(P=0.124). At discharge, standard deviation of normal group's NRS was $5.11{\pm}1.69$ and high risk group's was $4.86{\pm}2.08$(P=0.504). Comparison between admission and discharge, standard deviation of normal group's NRS was $5.11{\pm}1.69$ and high risk group's was $4.86{\pm}2.08$(P=0.504) Conclusion : Low back patients with high Brachialankle Pulse Wave Velocity, showed slower improvement rate compare to patients within normal rate. But statically, had no significance.

        한방병원에 내원한 악관절 환자 52명에 관한 임상적 고찰

        Objectives : The propose of this study is to analyze characteristics with sex, age, motivation, symptom, Impression, treatment effect about temporomandibular disorder patients. Method : We performed a retrospective study of 52 patients who visited the Jaseng Hospital of Oriental Medicine, from August 2008 to October 2008. Result : Women occupied the most part. And 27 persons in the 20th are the most distribution of age. The majority of patients occured the symptom for no reason. In the distribution of symptoms, TMD pain(88.46%), Click sound(82.69%), neck pain(52.92%), headache(38.46%), lumbago(21.15%) happened. In the impression through radiological diagnoses, The majority of patients diagnosed Straightening of cervical lordotic curvature. Oriental medical treatment showed a very valuable effect on improvement of TMD symptom. Conclusion : The results showed a valuable treatment effect of temporotandibular disorders on Oriental medical treatment. Therefore this work have the necessity of continuous study and observation and will help us to understand the features of patients who visiting the TMD clinic of Jaseng Hospital of Oriental medicine.

        발전소 열교환기 헤더와 튜브의 부분 용입형 용접부 초음파 자동검사시스템 개발

        발전설비의 열교환기는 대형 헤더에 다수의 튜브가 용접된 구조로 협소한 튜브간격으로 인하여 안전성 확보와 수명진단을 위한 비파괴검사에 많은 제약을 받는다. 특히 일부의 헤더 용접부는 부분 용입형 용접구조로 이루어져 있어, 루트부에 용입부족 결함이 발생하기 쉽다. 이러한 용입부족 부분은 구조물의 형상과 결함을 구분하여 판정하기 어렵기 때문에 이를 검출할 수 있는 검사방법이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 헤더와 튜브로 이루어진 열교환기 부분 용입형 용접부에서 발생하는 용입부족 결함과, 용접비드 내의 결함을 검출 하고자 초음파검사 기법을 이용한 자동검사시스템을 개발하였고 이 시스템을 이용하여 용접부의 결함을 효과적으로 검출할 수 있었다. A power plant"s heat exchangers work under poor conditions, such as high temperature, high pressure, corrosion, mechanical stress and vibration. Especially, partial joint-weld of heat exchanger"s header to stub-tube is the place where incomplete penetration flaws can easily occur. But, it is hard to evaluate the safety of the structure by conventional nondestructive testing techniques. So it is necessary to test integrity of the weld inside and to develop testing technique and equipment that can detect the flaws at the weld point in order to enhance reliability of the test result. In this study, we developed a suitable automated ultrasonic testing system that can inspect the partial joint-weld of header to stub-tube of power plant. Finally, we showed the efficiency of the automated ultrasonic-testing-system from the application.

        SH-EMAT의 신호 수신을 위한 광섬유 패브리-페롯 간섭계 센서의 적용

        수평횡파(SH-wave)는 배관과 같은 박판 구조물에서 판파 모드로 전파하고 분산성이 단순하여 구조물의 건전성 평가에 유용하다. 전자기초음파탐촉자(EMAT)는 비접촉식으로 자석과 코일 배열을 조절하여 수평횡파를 발생하기 용이하다. 따라서 수평횡파 전자기초음파탐촉자(SH-EMAT)를 이용한 자동화 검사 시스템은 박판 구조물 건전성 감시에 매우 유용하다. 하지만 발전설비 또는 자동화 장비 등에서는 전자기노이즈가 상당히 많이 발생하고 EMAT 수신 센서는 전자기노이즈에 취약한 면이 있다. 광섬유 센서는 빛을 이용하여 전자기노이즈 환경에서 매우 유용하게 활용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 환경적 제약을 고려하여 광섬유패브리-페롯 간섭계(FFPI)를 SH-EMAT으로 발생되는 초음파의 수신용 센서로 제안하였다. 평판시험편에서 SH-EMAT의 신호를 FFPI 센서를 이용하여 수신하고 이 신호에 대한 분석을 하였다. 제안된 FFPI 센서가 EMAT으로 가진된 SH wave의 신호를 명료하게 수신할 수 있음을 확인하였다. Shear horizontal (SH) waves propagate as a type of plate wave in a thin sheet. The dispersion characteristics of SH waves can be used for signal analysis. Therefore, SH-waves are useful for monitoring the structural health of a thin-sheet-structure. An electromagnetic acoustic transducer (EMAT), which is a non-contact ultrasonic transducer, can generate SH-waves easily by varying the shape and array of magnets and coils. Therefore, an EMAT can be applied to an automated ultrasonic testing system for structural health monitoring. When used as a sensor, however, the EMAT has a weakness in that electromagnetic interference (EMI) noise can occur easily in the automated system because of motors and electric devices. Alternatively, a fiber optic sensor works well in the same environment with EMI noise because it uses a light signal instead of an electric signal. In this paper, a fiber Fabry-Perot interferometer (FFPI) was proposed as a sensor to receive the SH-waves generated by an EMAT. A simple test was performed to verify the performance of the FFPI sensor. It is thus shown that the FFPI can receive SH-wave signals clearly.
