구미지역의 내수배제시설 설계를 위한 확률강우강도식의 유도

This study is to derive the rainfall intensity formula based on the representative probability distribution of Kumi city in Korea. The 9 probability distributions which have been widely used in hydrologic frequency analysis are applied to the annual maximum rainfall. The parameters of each probability distribution are estimated by method of moments(MOM), maximum likehood method(MLE) and method of probability weighted moments(PWM). The estimated parameters were checked by parameter validity conditions of each assumed probability distribution. Four tests which are χ2-test, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Cramer von Mises test and PPCC test are used in this study to determine the goodness of fit of the distributions. The Gumbel distribution was determined as the representative probability distribution in Kumi city. Rainfall intensity formula was determined by linearization technique for the selected return periods.

PURPOSES: In order to evaluate a crack resistance at cold joint, sealing tape was adopted to apply at cold joint instead of typical tack coat material(RSC-4). The sealing tape was made by hot sealing material. The crack resistance as function of environmental and traffic loading was measured with visual observation. METHODS : In this study, the crack resistance was evaluated as function of environmental and traffic loading. The freeze-thaw method was adopted for environmental loading of asphalt pavement. condition. The damage of cold joint under freeze-thaw action is initiated by ice expansion load and accelerated by the interfacial damage between new and old asphalt pavement. The traffic loading was applied with wheel tracking machine on the cold joint area of the asphalt pavement for 3 hours at 25℃. The evaluation of crack resistance was measured with visual observation. The freeze-thaw results shows that the sealing tape was significantly increased the crack resistance based on. RESULTS : To estimate the crack resistance at cold joint area due to the environmental loading, the Freeze-thaw test was conducted by exposing the product to freezing temperature(approximately -18℃) for 24 hours, and then allowing it to thaw at 60℃ for 24 hours. The tack coat material(RSC-4) was debonded after 21 cycles of the Freeze-thaw test. The first crack was observed after 14 freeze-thaw cycle with RSC-4 material. But, the sealing tape was not debonded after 24 cycle test. Also, the sealing tape shows the better performance of the crack resistance under the traffic loading with wheel track test. The crack was generated the under traffic loading with RSC-4(tack coating), however, the crack was not shown with sealing tape. It indicates that the sealing tape has a strong resistance of tensile stress due to traffic loading. CONCLUSIONS: Based on limited laboratory test result, a performance of crack resistance using the sealing tape is better than that of general tack coat material(RSC-4). It means that the sealing tape is possible to extend a pavement service life because the crack, one of the main pavement distresses, will be delayed. 노후 재활용 아스팔트 콘크리트 산화도 평가 방법 개발 연구

PURPOSES : The purpose of this paper is to develop an evaluation method for aged reclaimed asphalt pavements using RAP mortar specimen and FTIR method. METHODS: To evaluate the low-temperature behavior of aged reclaimed asphalt pavements, an indirect tensile strength test was adopted with an RAP mortar specimen. The RAP mortar specimen without a rejuvenator was fabricated with two fine aggregate types as a function of passing sieve sizes. The fabricated RAP mortar specimen was frozen for 24 h at -20℃. The indirect tensile strength was measured as a function of different absolute viscosities. The indirect tensile strength and displacement were varied as functions of the dosage of the rejuvenator. The spectroscopy analysis of four asphalt binders was performed under attenuated total reflection. The four asphalt binders comprised of a virgin binder, two extracted RAP binders, and a mixed virgin and extracted RAP binder. To evaluate the oxidation of the binder, the carbonyl index was calculated. RESULTS : The four extracted RAP binders were measured with an extremely wide range of absolute viscosity from 30,000 poise to 170,000 poise. The indirect tensile strength of the RAP mortar decreased as the absolute viscosity increased. This means that at lower temperatures, the indirect tensile strength can indicate the oxidation of RAP. Also, the indirect tensile strength and displacement changed sensitively as the dosage of the rejuvenator was changed. Based on the FTIR principle, a good relation was observed between the dosage of the rejuvenator and the FTIR absorbance peak. It can be used to estimate the dosage of the rejuvenator in hot reclaimed asphalt mixture. Also, the carbonyl index of the RAP binder was calculated to evaluate asphalt oxidation using the FTIR principle. CONCLUSIONS : There is a good relation between the indirect tensile strength of RAP mortar and its absolute viscosity. This indicates that RAP mortar can be used to estimate the properties of aged RAP. Also, the usage of rejuvenator can be evaluated with both the indirect tensile strength and FTIR absorbance peak. The carbonyl index can be used to predict asphalt oxidation.

최근의 기후변화로 인한 국지성 호우의 증가로 도시유역의 내수침수피해가 증가하고 있다. 도시 내수침수에 큰 영향을 미치는 시간당 강우량이 증가하였으며, 도시화 및 산업화로 인한 불투수 지역의 증가로 인해 하천으로 유입되는 첨두유량의 증가, 도달시간의 감소 등의 수문학적 특성이 나타나게 되었다. 이로 인해 도시지역의 홍수에 대한 방어능력이 취약하게 되었으며 매년 호우로 인한 도시내수 침수 피해가 발생하고 있는 실정이다. 최근 침수피해가 발생한 광화문, 강남역, 사당역 일대 등은 불투수 지역의 비율이 80% 이상이므로 강우 발생시 빗물이 지하로 침투되지 못하며, 우수관거의 노후화로 인한 용량부족으로 인한 침수가 발생되는 것으로 판단된다. 대도시의 경우 대부분의 우수관거가 오래전에 매설되어 최근 발생하는 강우에 대한 대처능력이 떨어지므로 앞으로도 침수피해가 또다시 발생할 수 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 도시유역의 내수침수예측을 위해 현재 실무에서 가장 많이 사용되는 도시유출모형인 XP-SWMM을 이용하여 서울시 강남역, 목동 빗불펌프장 배수분구를 대상지역으로 선정하여 방재성능목표강우량을 입력강우로 적용하여 강우-유출분석을 실시하였으며, 침수피해가 발생하는 지역의 우수관거 용량 검토를 실시하였다.
