In 1960s, many changes were occurred in arts policy and management in the USA. A quick arts expansion, introduction of cultural democracy for solving the situation effectively, introduction of marketing skills in arts management, construction of a permanent audience -supported base, beginning of arts education for audience development and establishment of national support system for the arts are those changes. In 1980s, many changes were also occurred in arts policy and management in Korea. A quick arts expansion, introduction of marketing skills in arts management and establishment of national support system for the arts are those changes. However, it is not sure whether we coped with such changes effectively in the field of arts management and academic approach or not. Therefore we have to deal with the changes through especially academic research continuously. We hereby suggest the actual tasks in performing arts management and academic approach for them as follows. 1) Mission statement Studies on mission statement is very important for the management of arts organization. It is especially important in the public arts organization which has much influence on our society and culture. 2) Organizing for professional management Professionalism is a keyword for management of arts organization. We need to study how to get ready a main body for professional management. It has something to do with what we instruct students in the academic course work. 3) Programing Some performing arts organizations in Korea began to get successful examples of season programing, such a thing that the United States successfully introduced in the 1960’s. We need to study this system more deeply to expand to the whole country. 4) Marketing method There are many studies for arts marketing, but lacks in specific subjects, for example, STP strategy, marketing mix, audience development, market research and information marketing etc. 5) Arts Education for audience development Recently many students are interested in arts education for audience development, but we have to keep in mind that we need contiguous knowledge ; arts theory, pedagogy, educational philosophy, psychology to study arts education. 6) Fundraising Main bodies of the support for the arts are public organization, person, corporation and foundation. But our studies incline to public organization’s and corporation’s support. Person and foundation are valuable to be studied as main body for arts support. 7) Managerial evaluation Arts organizations are to be evaluated in order to feedback the managerial process and estimate CEO managers. Evaluation methods are main issues. 8) Arts policy and national support We need to refer to arts policy and national support system of National Endowment for the Arts(NEA) in the United States, because we think NEA has very useful systems in direct and especially indirect arts support. 9) Research method of arts management We have to look for proper study methods for arts management. Particularly we need helps of business management, economics, pedagogy, political science and so on.

In Pericles, Shakespeare creates dramatic effects using the dynamic alternation of speech and spectacle, past and present. Shakespeare’s double strategy reaches a climax in the two recognition scenes at the end of the play. He pursues not only the identification of separated individuals but the identification of individuals and Supernatural Being. The resolution of the text is challenged by the subtext, discourse of silence. Making some alterations to his source material, Shakespeare schemes a possible incest relationship between Pericles and Thaisa. The subtext of Pericles includes Pericles’ inner fear and anxiety for incest relationship, especially between father and daughter. Shakespeare, on the other hand, insinuates that incest is a universal condition based on Biblical Fall.

The purpose of this paper is to construct a control algorithm for improvement in driving efficiency of 4-wheel-drive in-wheel electric vehicles. Main parts of vehicle were modeled and input-output relations of signals were summarized using MATLAB/Simulink. Performance simulator for 4-wheel-drive in-wheel electric vehicles was developed based on co-simulation environment with a commercial dynamic behavior analysis program called Carsim. Also for improvement in driving efficiency of vehicles, a torque distribution algorithm that distributes torque to front and rear wheels was included in the performance simulator. Validity of the torque distribution algorithm was demonstrated based on simulation on changes in SOC caused by use of the torque distribution algorithm.

Recently, there are ongoing researches about autonomous vehicle driving technology. These autonomous vehicle driving technology have been applied on consumer vehicle as ‘ADAS’ (Advanced Driver’s Assistant System). In Nevada, government is leading application of autonomous driving as it issues driving license for Driverless car, developed by Google. An Autonomous vehicle uses more sensors in order to perceive the surrounding than needs for secure the fail-safe. On the other hand, minimizing the number of sensors is necessary for commercializing of unmanned vehicle. Hence, this study has proposed tilting mechanism and control algorithm of LiDAR for the reasons mentioned above.

Artificial intelligence models are being used to detect facility anomalies using physics data such as vibration, current, and temperature for predictive maintenance in the manufacturing industry. Since the types of facility anomalies, such as facility defects and failures, anomaly detection methods using autoencoder-based unsupervised learning models have been mainly applied. Normal or abnormal facility conditions can be effectively classified using the reconstruction error of the autoencoder, but there is a limit to identifying facility anomalies specifically. When facility anomalies such as unbalance, misalignment, and looseness occur, the facility vibration frequency shows a pattern different from the normal state in a specific frequency range. This paper presents an N-segmentation anomaly detection method that performs anomaly detection by dividing the entire vibration frequency range into N regions. Experiments on nine kinds of anomaly data with different frequencies and amplitudes using vibration data from a compressor showed better performance when N-segmentation was applied. The proposed method helps materialize them after detecting facility anomalies.
