업무프로세스관리(BPM) 시스템은 업무프로세스의 효율적인 실행, 통제 및 관리를 지원하는 소프트웨어 시스템으로서, 복잡한 프로세스를 자동화하고, 이를 효과적으로 관리하여 기업의 생산성 향상에 기여한다. 그러나, 상용시스템은 주로 프로세스의 자동화에 초점을 두고 있어 프로세스와 업무참여자 관점에서 효율적인 관리 방법을 제공하지 못하고 있다. 따라서, BPM 시스템은 프로세스 참여자와 전체 프로세스 효율성 향상의 관점에서 개선의 여지가 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 업무프로세스를 보다 효율적으로 관리하는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 업무참여자의 업무부하를 고려하여 전체 프로세스를 실행하는 방식으로서, 프로세스 참여자원 가운데 가장 큰 제약요소를 집중관리한다. 이러한 방식은 경영혁신 이론으로 알려진 제약이론(Theory of Constraints)의 DBR (Drum-Buffer-Rope) 방법론을 기반으로 하고 있다. DBR 방법론을 활용하기 위해 우선, 업무프로세스와 DBR의 주적용모델의 차이점을 분석하고 업무프로세스에 적합한 드럼, 버퍼, 로프를 개발한다. 이를 토대로, 업무참여자의 업무부하와 프로세스 인스턴스 발생 패턴을 통제하는 BPM만의 DBR 방법론(BP-DBR, Business Process-DBR)을 제안한다. BP-DBR은 업무참여자의 업무환경과 전체프로세스의 효율성 개선에 기여할 것으로 기대한다. 이러한 기대효과를 증명하기 위해 기존 BPM의 프로세스 관리방법과 제안한 방법의 효과를 시뮬레이션 실험을 통해 비교한다. Business Process Management (BPM) System is a software system to support an efficient execution, control and management of business processes. The system automates complex business processes and manages them effectively to raise productivity. Traditional commercial systems mainly focus on automating processes and do not have methods for enhancing process performances and task performer’s efficiency. Therefore, there is room for enhancement of task performers’ productivities and efficiency of business processes. In this paper, we propose a new method of executing business processes more efficiently in that a whole process is scheduled considering the degree of participants' workload. The method allows managing the largest constraints among constituent resources of the process. This method is based on the DBR (Drum-Buffer-Rope) in TOC (Theory of Constraints) concepts. We first consider the differences between business process models and DBR application models, and then develop the modified drum, buffer and rope. This leads us to develop BP-DBR (Business Process-DBR) that can control the proper size of task performers’ work list and arrival rate of process instances. Use of BP-DBR improves the efficiency of the whole process as well as participants’ working condition. We then carry out a set of simulation experiments and compare the effectiveness of our approach with that of the scheduling techniques used in existing systems.

세계 주요 기업들을 중심으로 비즈니스 프로세스를 보다 표준화하고, 명확화하려는 움직임이 어느 때보다 두드러지고 있다. BPM은 이러한 시도를 구현할 수 있는 적합한 도구로서 주목 받고 있다. 최근, BPM으로 구현된 프로세스를 보다 효율적으로 실행하는 것이 이슈로 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 프로세스 효율성을 크게 프로세스 엔진과 업무담당자 관점에서 이를 해결하고자 한다. 프로세스 엔진 관점에서는, 엔진이 사용자에게 업무를 얼마나 효율적으로 전달하는지 바라본다. 업무담당자 관점에서는, 전달된 업무를 각 업무담당자가 어떻게 처리하는지에 주목한다. 본 연구는 각 단계에서만 효율성을 고려해왔던 과거 연구와는 달리, 두 단계에서 모두 효율적일 수 있는 방법론을 제안하며, 이를 실험을 통해 유효성을 검증한다. To survive in a global competition, many companies are trying to standardize and visualize Business Process (BP) by implementing Business Process Management (BPM). Recently, enhancing business process efficiency has become one of critical success factors. In this paper, we introduce a two-phase perspective of BP efficiency: Process Engine Perspective (PEP) and Task Performer Perspective (TPP). The former is related to allocation function of BP engine; it is mainly concerned with efficient task allocation to users. The latter phase influences efficiency depending on how users execute tasks assigned to them. Instead of considering each phase separately, we develop a comprehensive method considering the two-phase together, which is more effective for the BP efficiency. We carry out simulation experiment to show the combinational effect of the two phases.
비스포스포네이트 연관 악골괴사의 치료 방식과 투약 휴지기가 치료 예후에 미치는 영향

Objective: The purpose of this study is to compare the surgical treatment with conservative treatment and to evaluate the effectiveness of drug holiday in bisphosphonate related osteonecrosis of the jaw (BRONJ) patients who were diagnosed as stage 2. Patients and Method: From January 2012 to October 2014, seventy two patients who visit to Pusan National University of Dental Hospital were diagnosed as stage 2 of BRONJ. All the patients had taken computed tomography(CT) and panoramic radiography. The surgical treatment including sequestrectomy of necrotic bone and curettage of soft tissue around the sequestrum were performed to fifty patients. Twenty two patients underwent conservative treatment such as antibiotics medications, mouth rinsing and follow up checking for every two weeks. Prognosis of treatment was classified into 3 groups ? response, unresponse, and worsens according to clinical, radiographic symptoms. P value less than 0.05 were regarded as significant. Results: In surgery group, forty five patients (90%) were healed without recurrence or any complication and five patients (10%) showed the wound dehiscence or infection. In conservative treatment group, fifteen patients (68.2%) were healed without any complication, four patients (18.2%) did not show improvement and three(4.2%) patients°Ø symptoms increased. P value among groups was 0.014. Evaluation of preoperative drug holiday in surgery group did not show the effectiveness(p=0.478). Conclusion: Statistically, the prognosis of patients with stage 2 BRONJ treated with surgery was significantly better than conservative treatment. There was no statistical difference for the preoperative drug holiday.
LabVIEW<SUP>TM</SUP>를 이용한 생물공정의 모니터링 및 제어 연구

In this study, LabVIEW<SUP>TM</SUP>-based programs were developed for the monitoring and control of biological processes like recombinant E. coli fermentations. Electrical signals were obtained from sensors in the bioprocess and converted into values of process variables, and electrical noise was also eliminated. Dissolved oxygen concentrations during microbial fermentation were monitored and controlled using a PID control algorithm written in LabVIEW<SUP>TM</SUP> program. Fedbatch fermentations were performed using feedback and feedforward control techniques. Amounts of concentrated substrate entering to the bioreactor were graphically displayed and saved in a file as data. A two-dimensional fluorescence sensor was used to detect various biochemicals in biological processes. A LabVIEW<SUP>TM</SUP> program was developed for the monitoring of bioprocesses with the two-dimensional fluorescence sensor, and three-dimensional fluorescence spectra graphs were displayed in real-time via client PC. A flow injection analysis system (glucose-FIA) operated with a LabVIEW<SUP>TM</SUP> program was used for on-line monitoring of glucose in a bioprocess. Signal peaks obtained from the FIA detector were analyzed by the LabVIEW<SUP>TM</SUP> program, and peak graphs were saved in a file. On-line monitored glucose data were corresponded with off-line measured glucose data well.

A workflow management system is a Software System to Support accurate execution, control and management of business processes. It has been known that the system automatically executes complex processes and effectively manages them to improve the productivities. However, though existing systems assure the automatic execution of an individual process, there is a room for enhancement from the view of efficient execution of all the processes. In this paper, we propose a method of executing business Processes efficiently by introducing the PERT/CPM techniques in the workflow management systems We first consider the differences between workflow process models and PERT/CPM models, and then develop a method of calculating the critical path and slack time in workflow processes. This leads us to develop a dispatching rule that can guide task performers to prioritize their tasks to increase the efficiency of all the processes. We have carried out a set of simulation experiments and analyzed the results to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
