STI구조를 갖는 nMOSFET의 채널 너비에 따른 Hot-Carrier 열화 현상에 관한 연구

Channel width dependence of hot-carrier effect in nMOSFET with shallow trench isolation is analyzed. $I_{sub}$- $V_{G}$ and $\Delta$ $I_{ㅇ}$ measurement data show that MOSFETs with narrow channel-width are more susceptible to the hot-carrier degradation than MOSFETs with wide channel-width. By analysing $I_{sub}$/ $I_{D}$, linear $I_{D}$- $V_{G}$ characteristics, thicker oxide-thickness at the STI edge is identified as the reason for the channel-width dependent hot-carrier degradation. Using the charge-pumping method, $N_{it}$ generation due to the drain avalanche hot-carrier (DAHC) and channel hot-electron (CHE) stress are compared. are compared.

In this paper, EMI measurement, the STGU simulation being conducted, filter design, its characteristics, and its implementation to the PCB, and finally test results are discussed. When the low pass filter was implemented within the STGU, the power of EMI decreased more than 20dBm. Finally, when TE and MTIE, two important quality measure in synchronous reference clock, was assessed, ITU-T G813 requirement was satisfied. EMI(Electromagnetic Interface) is a measure of electomagnetic radiation from equipment in the range of 10KHz to 3GHz, and can cause unexpected reactions of electronics/electrical equipment. In this study, for safe and stable communication operation, a STGU (System Timing Generation Unit), which is a 2.5G SDH System and a major EMI source, was employed to simulate electromagnetic interface. Using Open-Site test, the power of fundamental frequency of EMI of interest and its harmonics were measured. Also, a low pass filter at cut-off frequency of 2GHz was specifically designed for this study to minimize the effect of EMI between electronic components.
Nonparametric Estimation of a Triangular System of Equations for Quantile Regression

We consider a class of nonparametric quantile regression (QR) models with endogenous regressors. Building upon the semiparametric QR model in Lee (2007), we develop a nonparametric framework for quantile regression in a triangular system of equations. We provide a set of conditions under which the parameters are nonparametrically identified. Then, we propose to use the penalized sieve minimum distance (PSMD) estimation approach of Chen and Pouzo (2012) to estimate the parameters. We establish the consistency and convergence rate of the PSMD estimator. Since the identification is based on a control function approach, the PSMD estimator does not suffer from an ill-posed inverse problem. A Monte-Carlo simulation study confirms that the PSMD estimator performs well in finite samples.
2.5Gbps SDH 시스템 전자파 감소용 저역통과필터 설계 및 제작

EMI(전자파간섭)은 전기/전자제품의 이상동작을 야기할수 있는 장치로부터 방사되는 10KHz에서 3GHz대역의 전자파를 말한다. 본 연구에서는 안정적이고 정상적인 동작을 위해 2.5Gbps SDH시스템에서 전자파발생원인 STGU유니트에 대하여 전자파간섭을 시뮬레이션하였으며 On-Site Test를 통하여 조화주파수에 대한 전자파 세기를 측정하였다. 또한 소자들간의 EMI를 최소화하기 위하여 2GHz의 Cut-off주파수에서 저역통과필터를 설계하였다. 저역통과필터를 STGU유니트에 적용한 결과 전자파는 약 20dBm이상 감소되었으며 동기기준클럭의 품질을 결정하는 TIE와 MTIE를 측정한 결과 ITU-T G8l3을 만족하였다. 주택임대차보호법이 임대차 공급기간에 미치는 영향 분석: 서울 임대차 아파트를 중심으로

본 연구는 2020년 7월 주택임대차보호법의 시행 이후, 전월세 매물이 크게 감소하고 임대차와 관련한 분쟁이 발생하는 등의 상황이 발생함에 따라, 정책의 시행이 임대차 시장에 미친 영향을 분석한다. 본 연구는 특정 가능한 서울특별시 아파트 105,122호에서 발생한, 총 137,188건의 거래 중, 거래유형이 매매 후 임대차인 14,157건을 대상으로, 시간 기준 회귀불연속모형(RDiT)를 수행하였다. 매매거래후, 각각 60일 이내, 90일 이내, 365일 이내 임대차 된 경우를 세 그룹으로 나눈 후, 회귀불연속모형 분석을 시행한 결과, 주택임대차보호법의 시행은 3 그룹 모두에서 매매에서 임대차까지 걸린 기간을 증가시켰으며, 평균적으로 각각 40%, 52%, 46% 정도 그 기간이 증가되었다. 동 법 시행으로 인한 임대차 주택의 투자 매력도 감소는 주택 매매 이후 임대차를 유보시키고 주택 공급자ㆍ수요자의 탐색 시간의 증가를 가져왔을 가능성이 있다.
Cross-cultural Difference on the Use of Hedges in Academic Writing

This study aimed to examine Korean EFL learners’ use of hedges and analyze their overall awareness of English academic writing conventions. Discussion sections of 20 doctoral dissertations were analyzed; ten were written by Korean EFL students, and the other ten by native counterparts. Dissertations for analysis were selected from two different fields of study, Humanities and Science, to examine if the field of study affects the use of hedging. The total number of words examined was 20,000 using Salager-Meyer’s taxonomy[1]. The mean for each field between Korean EFL and native English students was compared using t-tests of the SPSS 27 statistical program. The study’s results revealed that Korean students used fewer hedges regardless of field, which means they sounded more confident and definite than their native peers. This result can be interpreted that Korean students’ overgeneralized perception of explicitness and directness of English academic writing affected their writing. Thus, Korean EFL students avoided using hedging devices and used more explicit language to sound more explicit and direct in their academic writings. Furthermore, the study's results implied that the perception of the target culture’s writing conventions could affect the EFL learners’ writing styles. Also, Korean students overgeneralized culture-specific differences between English and Korean writing. Therefore, the research suggests that EFL teachers promote intercultural communicative competence and emphasize the importance of genre-based instruction in teaching writing.
