[技術論文] 소형 디젤엔진에서 연소실 형상 및 연소관련 주요 인자들이 엔진 성능에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 양산중인 배기량2.4Liter,간접분사방식의 소형 디젤엔진에서 연소방식을 직접 분사방식으로 연소계를 재설계하여, 간접분사방식과 직접분사방식에 따른 엔진성능상의 차이점을 비교 평가하고, 아울러 직접분사방식에서 연소실 형상과 연소 관련 주요 인자들의 변경시 엔진성능에 미치는 영향에 대해 고찰하였다. 직접분사방식 엔진은 간접분사방식 엔진에 대해 동일출력, 동일 Smoke 수준인 경우10~15%의 연료소비 저감의 효과가 있고 이에 따라 연소관련 부품의 열부하면에서도 유리하였으나, 소음 및 NOx배출은 증가하는것으로 나타났다.<br/> 직접분사 연소방식에서는 Deep Bowl 연소실 형태의 Cylindrical Type과 Re-entrant Type에서 연비와 Smoke 등을 고려한 최적 분사시기가 Re-entrant Type에서 4˚CA정도 늦었으며, 각기 최적 분사시기에서 소음, NOx를 비교한 결과 Re-entrant.Type이 더 우수하였다.
V2V 통신 환경에서 DoS 공격 탐지 모델 개발을 위한 데이터 생성 및 검증

In recent years, autonomous vehicles have been using deep learning to recognize road conditions and make driving decisions. In addition, autonomous driving that uses only deep learning technology has limitations, so it utilizes vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET) communications. However, VANET communications contains vulnerabilities that can be exposed to cyber-attacks such as denial of service (DoS), and research is underway to defend against them. In this paper, we generate a dataset to develop a machine learning model that can detect DoS attacks in the V2V communications environment of VANETs. The dataset is generated using simulation tools, such as OMNeT++, SUMO, Veins, and INET, to reflect the attributes of V2V communications and characteristics of the attacks. In addition, the attack dataset generated is validated to see if attacks can be detected by various machine learning models. The evaluation results show that the generated dataset can detect DoS attacks with an accuracy of about 97% or higher from most of the trained machine learning models, which is useful for training intrusion detection models.

Spontaneous regression of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is extremely rare, and dozens of cases have been reported in the literature. In this report, we present a case of pathologically confirmed HCC that partially regressed without medical intervention. A 54-year-old Korean male with chronic hepatitis B had a hepatic mass detected by abdominal ultrasonography during a routine visit. A clinical diagnosis of HCC was made after measuring serum α-fetoprotein levels followed by dynamic computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. The patient delayed surgical resection; however, after 5 months, the size of the HCC decreased from 3.2 to 1.0 cm in diameter without any treatment. At that time the mass was surgically resected. Histopathology confirmed that the hepatic mass was consistent with partially regressed HCC and showed more intra- and peri-tumoral lymphocytes consisting of greater CD4+ T cell infiltration than what is normally seen in resected HCC. Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNET) are rare, with approximately 2.2 in 1,000,000 people affected annually. In the classification of neuroendocrine tumors, glucagonomas are a functional PNET and comprise 1.6% of PNET. Glucagonoma syndrome is a paraneoplastic syndrome that is characterized by necrolytic migratory erythema, weight loss, anemia, and diabetes mellitus. Metastatic disease at presentation is common, but is often limited to the liver and regional lymph nodes. Sunitinib malate improves the progression-free and overall survival of PNET. This report presents a 45-year-old Asian woman with prolonged neutropenia after sunitinib treatment of a glucagonoma with multiple hepatic metastases. The severity of the neutropenia after the sunitinib treatment fluctuated from grade 1 to 4 repeatedly, with a non-febrile pattern. Ultimately, the patient did not recover from the neutropenia, even after stopping the sunitinib. (Korean J Med 2013;84:405-410)
