본 논문에서는 CDMA 신호가 광링크를 통해 전송되었을 때 생기는 비선형 특성을 CDMA signal generator 같은 고가의 장비 없이 변조되지 않은 두 개의 반송파 (two-tone)만을 이용하여 분석하고 실험치와 비교한다. CDMA 신호의 frequency assignment (FA)의 수에 따른 adjacent channel power ratio(ACPR) 변화도 분석한다. In this paper, we have measured and analyzed the third-order intermodulation distortion(IMD3) mostly appeared in a laser diode(LD) of an optical link for CDMA signals to characterize the links with an inexpensive way. We analyzed adjacent channel power ratio(ACPR) of CDMA signals as a function of FA, which negatively affects ACPR.
수술 후 환자에서 심부정맥 혈전증 예방을 위한 무릎형 항혈전 스타킹과 허벅지형 항혈전 스타킹의 효과 비교

Purpose: Anti-Embolic Stockings (AES) are a valuable means of thromboprophylaxis but it is unclear whether knee or thigh length AES are more effective. The aim of this evidence-based practice activity was to compare knee and thigh length AES after a surgical operation and to examine the effects of each stockings. Methods: RISS, KISS, KoreaMed, PubMed, Ovid and The Cochrane Library were searched to identify relevant original articles. As a result, there was no difference in the prevention of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) between the two groups. But since there is uncertainty, we conducted a non-randomized controlled clinical trial. Data were collected from June, 2013 to September, 2013. Survey and observational data were collected on 57 patients who agreed to participate in the study. Results: There was no difference between knee versus thigh length antiembolic stocking groups in the surrogate outcomes including calf edema, Homan s sign, leg pain of numerical rating scale(NRS) 5 or more, hot flashes leg, and color change in applied site of stocking. And skin complications did not occur in both groups. Conclusion: Knee length AES should be regarded as the stockings of choice for the prevention of DVT in surgical patients. Indeed, they have similar effectiveness as thigh length AES but with better tolerability and lower cost.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy of the current evidence based practice on peripheral venous catheter replacement. Methods: After ethics approval, 140 patients (480 intravenous devices) were enrolled in our survey. Data were analyzed by statistical methods such as t-test, frequency analysis, χ2 square, Fisher’s exact test, Kaplan-Meier survival analysis using SPSS 21 program. Results: First, the average number of inserted peripheral venous catheters in the experimental group was 2.7 (3.0 in the control group), the number of days of maintenance of the peripheral venous catheters was 3.0 days (1.8 in the control group), and the maximum maintenance day of the peripheral venous catheter was 8 days. Second, there were no differences in the incidence of phlebitis and bloodstream infection between the two groups. Third, the risk of phlebitis in the experimental group increased sharply from the 6th day after insertion of peripheral venous catheter. Conclusion: As a result of this study, peripheral venous catheter replacement by clinical signs is recommended, and after 6 days, side effects should be carefully observed. We propose an iterative study on the effect of clinical signs on peripheral venous catheter replacement by expanding the number of patients.

Piezoelectric thick films of soft $Pb(Zr,Ti)O_3$ (PZT) based commercial material (S55) were fabricated using a conventional tape casting method. Ag-Pd electrodes were printed on the piezoelectric film at room temperature and all 5 layered films with a dimension of $12mm{\times}16mm$ were successfully laminated for a multi-layered piezoelectric ceramic actuator. The laminated specimens were co-fired at $1,100^{\circ}C$ for 1 h. A flat layered and dense microstructure was obtained for the $112{\mu}m$ thick piezoelectric actuator after sintering process. Thereafter, a prototype piezoelectric speaker was fabricated using the multi-layered piezoelectric ceramic actuator which can operate as a bimorph. Its SPL (sound pressure level) characteristic was also evaluated for speaker application. Frequency response revealed that the output SPL with a root mean square voltage of 10 V increased gradually to the highest peak of 87.5 dB for 1.5 kHz and exhibited a relatively stable behavior over the measured frequency range (${\leq}20kHz$) at a distance of 10 cm, implying that the fabricated piezoelectric speaker is potential for speaker applications.

The piezoelectric energy harvesting characteristics of a trapezoidal cantilever generator with lead zirconate titanate (PZT) laminate were investigated with various Ag inner electrodes. The piezoelectric mode of operation was a transverse mode by using a planar electrode pattern. The piezoelectric cantilever generator was fabricated using trapezoidal cofired-PZT/Ag laminates by five specimens of 2, 3, 4, 7, and 13 layers of Ag. As the number of Ag electrodes increased, impedance and output voltage at resonant frequency significantly decreased, and capacitance and output current showed an increasing tendency. A maximum output power density of $7.60mW/cm^3$ was realized for the specimen with seven Ag layers in the optimal condition of acceleration (1.2 g) and resistive load ($600{\Omega}$), which corresponds to a normalized power factor of $5.28mW/g^2{\cdot}cm^3$.

A piezoelectric cantilever energy harvester (PCEH) driven in longitudinal (3-3) vibration mode was fabricated, and its electrical properties were evaluated by varying the resistive load. A commercial PZT piezoelectric ceramic with a high piezoelectric charge constant ($d_{33}$) of 520 pC/N and the interdigitated (IDT) electrode pattern was used to fabricate the PCEH driven in longitudinal vibration. The IDT Ag electrode embedded piezoelectric laminates were co-fired at $850^{\circ}C$ for 2 h. The 3-3 mode PCEH was successfully fabricated by attaching the piezoelectric laminates to a SUS304 elastic substrate. The PCEH exhibited a high output power of 3.8 mW across the resistive load of $100k{\Omega}$ at 100 Hz and 1.5 G. This corresponds to a power density of $10.3mW/cm^3$ and a normalized global power factor of $4.56mW/g^2{\cdot}cm^3$. Given the other PCEH driven in transverse (3-1) vibration mode, the 3-3 mode PCEH could be better for vibration energy harvesting applications.

Piezoelectric thick films of a soft $Pb(Zr,Ti)O_3$ (PZT) based commercial material were produced by a conventional tape casting method. Thereafter, the interdigitated (IDT) Ag-Pd electrode pattern was printed on the $25{\mu}m$ thick piezoelectric film at room temperature. Co-firing of the 10-layer laminated piezoelectric thick films was conducted at $1,100^{\circ}C$ and $1,150^{\circ}C$ for 1 h, respectively. Piezoelectric cantilever energy harvesters were successfully fabricated using the IDT electrode pattern embedded piezoelectric laminates for 3-3 operation mode. Their energy harvesting characteristics were investigated with an excitation of 120 Hz and 1 g under various resistive loads (ranging from $10k{\Omega}$ to $200k{\Omega}$). A parabolic increase of voltage and a linear decrease of current were shown with an increase of resistive load for all the energy harvesters. In particular, a high output power of 3.64 mW at $100k{\Omega}$ was obtained from the energy harvester (sintered at $1,150^{\circ}C$).
