한국 멜로드라마 계보에서의 로맨틱코미디

한국 멜로드라마 계보에서의 로맨틱코미디윤성민장르라는 특수한 특성을 감안한다면 영화에 대한 장르적 접근은 텍스트와 컨텍스트를 아우르는 유용한 방법론이 아닐 수 없다. 장르적 접근이라는 방법론을 통한 영화 연구에서 생산자와 관객, 그리고 영화 텍스트는분리되어 존재할 수 없다는 것 또한 분명한 사실이다. 현재 한국 영화의장르적 양상은 전통적인 관습들과 코미디가 결합한 로맨틱 코미디로써멜로드라마의 계보를 잇고 있다. 게다가 과거 멜로드라마의 비판적 요소들을 장르적으로 극복하고 있으며 오히려 더욱 진보적인 텍스트로 평가될 수 있는 발판을 마련하였다. 여기에는 관객의 힘이 크게 작용하였을것이다. 전통적인 관습들로 이루어진 멜로드라마를 관객들은 원하지 않았고 이를 극복하기 위해 시도되었던 일련의 소재주의 영화들도 그 명맥을 오래하진 못하였다. 대신 전복적인 캐릭터를 통해 관객들은 쾌감을 느끼고 그러면서 자신들도 인식하지 못하는 사이 영화 속에 자리 매김한 멜로드라마의 관습들도 자연스럽게 받아들이게 된 것이다. 즉, 로맨틱 코미디는멜로드라마의 계보 유지를 통해 안정성을 보장받고 전복적인 캐릭터를통한 웃음은 관객을 통하여 사회/ 문화적 배경을 영화 속에 투영하는 장르라고 보아야 할 것이다. Study on Romantic Comedy of Korean Film Industry Yun, Sung Min Romantic Comedy remains one genre where the film industry, the casual moviegoer, and film scholars all agree regarding classification. That is producers overtly markets certain films as romantic comedies and we accept that label as an accurate description. Romantic comedy films are films with light-hearted, humorous plot lines, centered on romantic ideals such as that true love is able to surmount most obstacles. One dictionary definition is a funny movie, play, or television program about a love story that ends happily. Another definition states that its primary distinguishing feature is a love plot in which two sympathetic and well-matched lovers are united or reconciled. Romantic comedy films are a certain genre of comedy films as well as of romance films, and may also have elements of screwball comedies and stoner comedies. Some television series can also be classified as romantic comedies.

Multifractal Features in Korean Financial Markets

The multifractal behavior of the tick data of prices in Korean financial markets is investigated. Using a rescaled range (R/S) analysis, we show the multifractal nature of returns for the won-dollar exchange rate and the KOSPI (Korean Stock Price Index). We also estimate the Hurst exponent and the generalized qth-order Hurst exponent in the universal multifractal framework. Particularly, our financial market data are persistent with long-run memory effects, and the statistical value of the Hurst exponent exhibits a crossover at a characteristic time. The probability distribution of returns is found to be quite consistent with a Lorentz distribution and to have properties ignificantly different from fat-tailed properties.

Impact of Sudden Changes on Volatility Persistence and Asymmetry in Chinese Stock Markets

This study has investigated sudden changes of volatility and examined the volatility asymmetry and persistence for the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock market indices. In an effort to assess the impact of sudden changes in volatility asymmetry and persistence, we identify the time points at which sudden changes in volatility occurred, and then incorporate this information into the GARCH and GJR-GARCH models. Using the ICSS algorithm, the identification of sudden changes is largely associated with domestic and global events. When these sudden changes are incorporated into GARCH and GJR-GARCH models, the evidences of asymmetry and persistence has been vanished in the volatility of both markets. Thus, we conclude that sudden changes models in this study are superior to standard GARCH and GJR-GARCH models in calculating and forecasting volatility of Chinese stock markets.

Christoph Friedrich Blumhardt sociologically reinterpreted and applied the recognition ‘Jesus is the winner!‘ , which is his father, Johann Christoph Blumhardt’s spiritual legacy. The progressive government of Moon Jae-in ended in 5 years. Although the government was built up by the candlelight revolution, it failed to show visible results, in terms of policy enforcement. Then, a candidate from a conservative party, Yoon Seok-yeol was elected as a new president. At this point in time, what is the focus that Korean churches have to bring to, for whom are they devoted, and what should they resist? The author in this paper looks into Blumhardt, Jr’s life first. He then suggests the direction of Korean churches to go through his third- and fourth-term life. Blumhardt, Jr’s first-term life was a successor to his father. He worked as a revivalist like his father. But he discovered the heroism of revival, christian egoism and christian carnality hidden behind revival. That’s why he yelled ‘Die. Then Jesus lives!’ in his second-term life. He also found practice outside the church, not ministry in the church. It was a struggle for laborers’ lives and rights. Yelling ‘Jesus is a socialist’, he declared ‘You, humans belong to God!’. His third-term life started this way. At that time, Blumhardt worked as a local councillor too after entering the Social Party of Democratism(SPD). Korean churches have to be interested in laborers and labor environments under any regime, since labor is the same concept as human personality beyond a life of a family. He then resigned from the political circles and began to raise a prophetic voice towards Germany that prepared for the 1st World War, meditating on the time once again. Hurrying for God’s realm and laborers’ rights, he declared ‘God’s realm comes up!‘ that was the fourth shout and waited for God’s realm. The author here examines Moon Jae-in administration’s policies. It carried forward the reform for income-led growth and good occupations to resolve the low growth and polarization issues of Korean society, but then pushed on serial landing of decrease in working hours and increase in minimum wage. In this situation, the wrong real estate policy made the price of property rise sharply and disturbed housing as well. Besides, the tax policy and the reform of labor market failed to obtain their performances. This situation led to the birth of the 20th president, Yoon Seok-yeol. Then, what should Korean churches do in this situation? The author considers the focus that churches have to bring to, learning from Blumhardt, Jr under the present chaotic situation. 크리스토프 프리드리히 블룸하르트는 아버지 요한 크리스토프 블룸하르트의 영적인 유산인 ‘예수는 승리자이다!’라는 인식을 사회학적으로 재해석하고 적용하였다. 문재인 정부인 진보 정권이 5년 만에 막을 내렸다. 촛불 혁명으로 세워진 정권이지만, 정책들의 진행이 가시적인 성과까지 나타나지 못했다. 그리고 보수 정당의 윤석열 후보가 대통령이 되었다. 이 시점에서 한국교회에 어디에 초점을 맞추고 누구를 위해 헌신하고 무엇에 저항해야 하는가? 이 논문에서 저자는 우선 아들 블룸하르트의 생애를 살펴보았다. 그리고 그의 삶 3기와 4기에서 지금 한국교회가 가야 할 방향을 제시해 보았다. 아들 블룸하르트의 1기의 삶은 아버지의 후계자였다. 아버지처럼 부흥사로 활동하였다. 하지만 그는 부흥 뒤에 숨어있는 부흥의 영웅주의, 기독교적인 이기주의와 기독교적인 육을 발견하게 된다. 그래서 2기의 삶에서 ‘죽어라, 그리하면 예수가 산다!’라고 외친 것이다. 그리고 그는 교회 안에서의 목회가 아닌 교회 밖에서의 실천을 발견하게 된다. 그것은 노동자의 생활과 권리를 위한 투쟁이었다. 그는 ‘예수는 사회주의자이다’라고 외치면서 ‘너희 인간들은 하나님의 것’이라고 선포한다. 그의 3기의 삶은 이렇게 시작한다. 블룸하르트는 그 당시 사회민주당(SPD)에 입당하여 지역 의원으로도 활동하게 된다. 한국교회는 어떤 정권이든 간에 노동자와 노동 환경에 관심이 있어야 한다. 왜냐하면, 노동은 한 가족의 생활을 넘어선 인간의 인격과도 동일한 개념이기 때문이다. 그리고 그는 정치권에서 물러나서 그 시대를 다시금 묵상하면서 1차 대전을 준비하는 독일에 대해서 예언자적 목소리를 내기 시작한다. 하나님 나라를 위해서 노동자의 권리를 위해서 서둘렀던 그가 4기인 외침 ‘하나님의 나라는 다가온다!’를 선포하면서 하나님 나라를 기다리게 된다. 여기에서 저자는 문재인 정부의 정책을 살펴보았다. 한국사회의 저성장과 양극화의 문제를 해결하기 위해서 소득주도 성장과 좋은 일자리를 위한 개혁을 추진했지만, 노동 시간의 단축과 최저임금의 인상을 연착륙 방안을 추진하게 되었다. 이러한 상황에서 잘못된 부동산 정책으로 부동산 가격은 폭등하게 되었고 주택 공급에도 차질을 빚게 되었다. 또한, 조세 정책과 노동시장의 개혁도 성과를 맺지 못하게 되었다. 이런 상황에서 20대 대통령으로 윤석열이 당선되게 된다. 그렇다면 한국교회는 이 상황에서 어떻게 해야 하는가? 필자는 혼란한 현 상황에서 아들 블룸하르트를 통해서 교회가 어디에 초점을 두어야 할지를 고찰해 보았다.

Performance of a small-capacity solar absorption cooling system was investigated experimentally. Ten sets of evacuative-tube solar-heat collectors and a 5 kW single-stage absorption cooler were combined to produce a hybrid cooling system. The performance of the cooling system was measured using a tim-coil unit installed in a small plastic storage. It was found from the test on a sunny day of May that when the temperature of the hot water supplied from the solar collectors to the generator of the absorption cooler reached $60^{\circ}C$, the absorption cooler started cooling and the cold water temperature measured from the fan-coil unit reached $18^{\circ}C$. The COP, which is defined as the ratio of the cooling power to the total electrical power input was higher than 1.0.
