황칠나무의 용매 분획별 추출물의 항산화 활성 및Acetyl-cholinesterase 저해 활성비교

The leaves and stems of Dendropanax morbiferus were separated from organic solvents with methanol. The organic solvent fractions were fractionated with dichloromethane, ethyl acetate and butanol according to the systematic fractionation method. Oxidation in the body induces aging, and antioxidant activity has attracted the attention of many people as a preventive component to suppress negative reactions in the body. To investigate the antioxidant activity of Dendropanax morbiferus were subjected to DPPH free radical assay. In addition, acetyl cholinesterase inhibitions were performed for Alzheimer’s disease as an aging neurological disease. As a result, it was confirmed that the antioxidant effect of DPPH was generally good in the antioxidant test. The ethyl acetate fractions of Dendropanax morbiferus stems and leaves were IC50=30 ㎍/㎖. Acetyl cholinesterase inhibition experiments were carried out at a concentration of 250 ㎍/㎖. Dendropanax morbiferus stems fractions showed dichloromethane fraction of 57.68%, which significantly inhibited the activity of acetyl cholinesterase. Key words - Acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activity, Dendropanax morbiferus, Free radical scavenging 황칠나무 잎과 줄기를 분리하여 각각 methanol 추출하여, 계통분획상법에 따라 dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, butanol 로 분획하였다. 분획물로 실시한 TLC에서 알칼로이드 성분으로 분리되는 성분을 확인할 수 있었다. 잎과 줄기 모두 ethyl acetate분획물은 IC50 30 ㎍/㎖으로 높게 측정 되었으며, ethyl acetate, dichloromethane, butanol분획물 순으로 저해 활성이 높게 나타났다. Acetyl cholinesterase inhibition assay를 실시한결과 황칠나무 잎과 줄기 모두 dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, butanol 분획물 순으로 저해 활성이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 가장 높은 활성을 보인 황칠나무 줄기와 잎의 dichloromethane 분획물의 알칼로이드 함량이 상대적으로 높은 것으로 보아 알칼로이드 성분에 의한 것으로 유추 할 수 있으므로, 알칼로이드 성분의 동정 및 성분구조의 규명을 통하여 AChE저해 활성을 이용한 신경관련 질환에 도움을 줄 수 있는 천연물의 개발이 가능할것으로 사료된다.

Purpose: This study is for comparing gender egalitarianism and sexual harassment experienced by gender and providing a basis for the solution of sexual harassment. Methods: A mixed method design was used. Quantitative data were collected from 198 university and college students, and qualitative data were collected from 154 university and college students from an open-ended question on resolutions of sexual harassment. Results: The quantitative data represent that the average score of gender egalitarianism of female students and male students was 104.88±7.32 and 87.20±13.13, respectively. The average score of sexual harassment of female students and male students was 50.89±16.75 and 42.09±10.83 respectively. The Qualitative data indicated that the common resolutions of sexual harassment in female and male categories were classified by 4 main topics of education, regulation, improving awareness and personal behavior. Conclusions: Accordingly, it would be effective to prevent sexual harassment problem by subdividing the sexual education program systematically and strengthening the laws and regulations of punishment for offenders. It is needed to figure out sexual harassment occurrences, especially in each university and college, and make an effort to develop strict punishment regulations and organized manuals in advance.
고전압용 리튬이차전지 바인더 개발을 위한 시뮬레이션 및 전기화학 평가 비교를 통한 산화분해전압 예측 연구

고전압에서도 사용 가능한 바인더 개발에 대한 요구가 증대됨에 따라 이에 적합한 내산화성이 우수한 바인더를 양자화학적 모델링에 기반하여 제안하고자 하였다. 각 고분자 poly(acryl amide)(PAM), poly(methyl acrylate)(PMA), poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF), poly(hexafluropropylene)(PHFP)에 대하여 반경험적 방법(Semi-empirical method) 및 밀도범함수 이론(Density Functional Theory, DFT) 방법을 이용하여 단량체부터 사량체까지의 고분자 바인더에 대한 최고 점유 분자 궤도함수(Highest occupied molecular orbital, HOMO) 에너지와 이온화 에너지(Ionization Potential, IP) 값을 구하여 실험 값과 비교하였다. 밀도범함수 방법으로 해석한 결과, PHFP, PVDF, PMA, PAM 순으로 고분자의 내산화성이 좋은 것으로 시뮬레이션을 통해 예측되었고, 이러한 결과는 선형 훑음 전압-전류법(Linear Sweep Voltametry, LSV)으로부터 얻은 실험값과 일치하였다. 또한 이 결과는 HOMO 오비탈의 구조를 분석하여 내산화성이 좋은 원인을 규명하였다. As the development of available binder in the harsh conditions is needed, we propose the proper binder for high-voltage lithium-ion secondary batteries based on the quantum chemistry modeling. The optimized structures, HOMO (Highest Occupied Molecular Orbital) energies and ionization potentials of 4 binders, which were considered from monomer to tetramer, were investigated by the semi-empirical and DFT (Density Functional Theory) calculations. The results show that the ionization potential values by calculation tend to be close to the oxidation potentials from the measurement of linear sweep voltametry (LSV). The order of oxidative resistance from high value to low value is following: poly(hexafluropropylene), poly(vinylidene fluoride), poly(methyl acrylate) and poly(acryl amide). Also these results correspond with the experimental values. Thus, we find the reason why HOMO (Highest Occupied Molecular Orbital) energy of PHFP has the highest value than other binders by analysis of HOMO orbital structures.

Objectives : We investigated the predictors of subjective memory complaints in the community-dwelling normal elderly. Methods : This study was conducted as a part of Korean Longitudinal Study on Health and Aging (KLoSHA). 747 non-demented community-dwelling elderly aged 65 years or older were recruited. All participants underwent clinical evaluation for dementia and psychiatric disorder conformed to the Korean version of the Consortium to Establish a Registry for Alzheimer's Disease (CERAD-K.) Clinical Assessment Battery and Korean version of Mini-Intemational Neuropsychiatric Interview, res-pectively. Word list recall test, frontal assessment battery, Mini Mental Status Examination (MMSE-KC) and Korean version of Geriatric depression scale (GDS-K) were administered to evaluate episodic memory, frontal function, global cognition and depression, respectively. Subjective memory complaint was defmed in two different ways: worse than one's past (SMC-P) and worse than others of one's age (SMC-O). Results : In highly educated elderly, minor depressive disorder (0R=7.23, 95% C.I.= 2.29-22.86) and frontal dysfunction (0R=2.48, 95% C.I.= 1.29-4.77) significantly increased the risk of SMC-O. However, they did not influence the risk of SMC-P. In low educated elderly, both the minor depressive disorder and frontal dysfunction did not influence the risk of SMC-0 as well as that of SMC-P. Conclusion : SMC-O can be a sensitive subjective recognition of mild depression and/or frontal dysfunction in highly edu-cated normal elderly.

CuS/Au/ZnO core-sell nanorods (NRs) have been synthesized by a novel and facile chemical method in an aqueous medium. The CuS/Au/ZnO NRs showed higher catalytic activity as compared to the ZnO NRs, Au/ZnO NRs, and CuS/ZnO NRs. The wavelength-dependent photocatalytic activity of the CuS/Au/ZnO NRs confirmed that the Au NPs act as the surface plasmon generated photocatalytic activity boosters and that CuS performs as a co-catalyst. The photocurrent generation and photo-electrochemical study further exhibited higher photocurrent generation and reduction of charge transfer resistance due to the synergistic impact of the Au NPs and CuS coating on the ZnO NRs.
