Multidisciplinary design optimization based on independent subspaces (MDOIS) is a simple and practical method that can be applied to the practical engineering MDO problems. However, the current version of MDOIS does not handle the common design variables. A new version of MDOIS is proposed and named as MDOIS/2006. It is a two-level MDO method while the original MDOIS is a single-level method. At first, system analysis is performed to solve the coupling in the analysis. If the termination criteria are not satisfied, each discipline solves its own design problem. Each discipline in the lower level solves the problem with common design variables while they are constrained by equality constraints. In the upper level, the common design variables of related disciplines are determined by using the optimum sensitivity of the objective function. To validate MDOIS/2006, mathematical problems as well as NASA test bed problems are solved. The results are compared with those from other MDO methods.

The study based on Treffinger`s CPS model. CPS model is based on a substantial foundation of theory and research about creativity and problem solving. It is a well organized, deliberate set of methods you can call upon whenever you need new ideas or solutions and a precess anyone can use to deal with many of every problems, opportunities, and challenges. CPS consists of three components. Within these three components, there are six specific stages during which creative and critical thinking abilities are used in harmony. Each stage involves both divergent and convergent thinking. Treffinger`s CPS for practical arts subject was composed of 6 step such as ``mess finding``-``data finding``-``problem findin``-``idea finding``-``solution finding``-``acceptance finding``. The instruction course of electrical unit is a course of study which aimed at the promotion of creativity, and contents that emphasizing the practicability and can be said that this can promote creativity through experience mental studying. Model of creative problem solving is materialized by Treffinger and his co-workers, and this is able to apply concrete instruction circumstances for bring up the creative problem solving. This study examined the area in which such creative problem solving instruction model is effective, and elaborated a strategy that present effective area to develop the function and inclination of the creative problem solving for development of the creativity. We can apply this to the area by constituting the strategy for the creativity promotion as a guidance plan, and can derive conclusion that creativity thinking function and promotion possibility of the inclination is very high with the creativity technique and model, and model, and can derived its propriety for the creative problem solving at electrical unit in high-school, and laid on a significance of this study at the applicable methods at the instructional studying.(Kyungpook National Univ./Hyundae Human Resource Education Center)
자동차용 서스펜션 섬유강화 복합재 코일 스프링의 압축특성 및 손상평가

본 연구에서는 브레이딩 공법으로 자동차용 섬유강화 복합재 코일 스프링을 제작했으며, 안전성 확인을 위해 압축시험 후 손상평가를 진행하였다. 하중-변위 거동의 분석을 통해 스프링의 강성이 규격에 부합하는지 평가했다. 또한 복합재료의 기계적 특성에 대한 기준을 명확하게 파악하기 위해 기공의 분포 및 함침율을 분석하였다. 시험이 완료된 스프링은 육안검사를 진행하여 손상부를 확인했으며, SEM을 이용하여 스프링의 균열 및 파손 인접부에서 채취한 횡단면 시료의 균열 발생 및 진전부 관찰을 통해 파괴모드를 분석하였다. In this study, fiber-reinforced composite coil springs for automobiles were manufactured using the braiding method, and mechanical tests and damage evaluation were performed to confirm their safety. Through the analysis of the load-displacement behavior, the stiffness of the springs was evaluated to meet the specifications. In addition, the distribution of voids and the impregnation rate on the spring wire section were analyzed to clearly understand the criteria for the mechanical properties of the composite material. Moreover, the tested springs were visually inspected to confirm the damaged parts, and the failure mode was analyzed by observing crack initiation and propagation behavior of cross-sectional samples taken from the crack and failure adjacent areas of springs using SEM.

Primary pelvic non-Hodgkin`s lymphoma is a rare malignancy that has been reported in the retroperitoneum, ovary, uterine corpus, uterine cervix, vagina and vulva. Although primary pelvic lymphoma is rare, this may be encountered more frequently as the incidence of extranodal non-Hodgkin`s lymphoma increases. We experienced three cases of primary non-Hodgkin`s lymphoma of the pelvis. Two cases are primary non-Hodgkin`s lymphoma of the ovary and one is primary non-Hodgkin`s lymphoma of the retroperitoneum. We report these cases with a brief review of literature.
