The rebar factory production process involves the repetitive bending of rebars. Therefore, the fatigue failure of the rebar bending machine needs to be considered. In this paper, fatigue analysis of the rebar machine was performed using the commercial software DAFUL, which is based on MFBD (Multi Flexible Body Dynamics). The rotating roller, fixing roller and rebar were modeled by the finite element method. The rebar bending process is simulated and the mechanical stresses on the rollers are calculated. Structural analysis of the rebar bending roller was performed using the maximum bending angle of 180° and maximum processing rebar diameter of Ф19mm. Then, for fatigue analysis, the S-N curve of STD-11 was . The fatigue life of rollers is estimated by modified Goodman diagram. The fatigue life range of the rotating roller is 2.99961×105~1×108while that of the fixed roller is 2.53142 × 105~1×108. STD-11 has an infinite life cycle after 1×108. Therefore, the rollers of the rebar bending machine may be expected to suffer fatigue failure. Thus, we performed a parameter study of fatigue life according to various axial radii of the fixed roller and rotating roller, and redesign of the rebar bending machine. Consequently, the axial radius of the fixed roller and rotating roller was found to be 35~37.5mm and 30~35mm, respectively, and an infinite life cycle was confirmed at these.

The purpose of this study was to make improvement suggestions for the physical environment and operation of the happy housings, based on the understanding of the residential satisfaction and regional communications of the youth who lived in the housings of Chungcheong area. Data were analyzed the percentage and ANOVA by SPSS program from the questionnaire answered by 84 young single-person households living in the happy housings located at Daejeon and Chugju city. The results were as follows. First, the satisfaction of the youth on the housing location and the surrounding environment was highest with 3.24 points, whereas the satisfaction on the distance between housing and workplace was lowest with 2.19 points. Second, the most needed community facilities for the youth were fitness centers with 64.3%, followed by reading rooms with 40.5%. Third, the most needed programs for them was the yoga and exercise program with 56.0%. Fourth, sports were the most desired activity as regional communications with 50.0% for them.

Children with cochlear implants (CI) have more difficulty in recognizing fricative and affricative sounds than children with normal hearing in a quiet or noisy environments. This study was to examine syllabic recognition scores of CI users by presenting sounds /tʓha/, /kha/, /tha/, /pha/ at the 0, 6 and 12 dB consonant-to-vowel ratios (CVRs) in no masking conditions. This study was to help understand the characteristics of non-sense consonant-vowel (CV) syllabic recognition for Korean children with CIs and facilitate hearing-rehabilitation for them. Eleven children with CIs, aged between 6.9 years and 11.0 years (Mean age : 8.3 years) participated as subjects. Each consonant was amplified with 0, 6 and 12 dB from four Korean CV syllables which consisted of combined consonants /tʓh/, /kh/, /th/, /ph/ with a vowel /a/. As a result, in recognition scores of /tha/ and /pha/, there were no significant differences identified with the increased CVRs. However, in overall, the recognition of non-sense CV syllables were improved when CVRs increased to +6 dB (p < .05). Furthermore, there were no significant differences in recognition scores among /tʓha/, /kha/,/tha/, /pha/ as a function of CVRs. The CV syllable recognition scores showed an improvement with a CVR increase for Korean CI children. Further research will conduct on the CVR effects in a noisy condition by various groups in the future. It is suggested that CI manufacturers strive to develop new speech processing strategies to help CI users for effective communication.
텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 커넥티드 카 고객 리뷰의 감성 분석: 국내-해외 브랜드간 UX 요인 비교를 중심으로

이 연구의 목적은 국내외 자동차 브랜드의 커넥티드 카 서비스의 사용자 감성 경험 요인들을 비교 분석하여 차이점을 도출하고 스마트 카 UX의 기획 방향성을 도출하는 것이다. 텍스트 마이닝 방법론을 활용하여, 국내외 브랜드 간 사용자 고객 리뷰의 경험 요인별 긍정-부정 감성 지수를 비교하였다. 현대차 그룹 브랜드 리뷰 12만 건과 해외 브랜드(테슬라, BMW, 벤츠) 리뷰 19만 건을 수집하여 전처리 과정을 수행한 후, 추출된 키워드를 연결 시스템, 정보, 서비스 차원에서 모두 11개의 경험 요인으로 분류하여 국내-해외 브랜드를 비교 분석하였다. 국내 커넥티드 카의 고객 리뷰 분석 결과, 가장 높은 감성 지수가 도출된 경험 요인은 ‘안전성’이었다. 해외 브랜드의 감성 지수 분석 결과, ‘오락성’이 가장 긍정적인 경험 요인으로 나타났다.

Central nervous system (CNS) toxicity has been reported in approximately 10-30% of patients receiving intravenous infusions of ifosfamide. Encephalopathy is a rare but serious CNS adverse reaction in these patients, and although usually transient and reversible, may cause persistent neurological dysfunction or death. Clinical features range from fatigue and confusion to coma and death. Although methylene blue can be used to treat ifosfamide-induced neurotoxicity, including encephalopathy, its mechanism of action remains poorly defined. We describe here two patients with recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer who experienced fatal encephalopathy following ifosfamide/mesna treatment.
Myotonic dystrophy diagnosed during the perinatal period: A case series report

Congenital myotonic dystrophy (CMD) which is transmitted in an autosomal-dominant manner, can also be observed in newborns born to asymptomatic parents who have a myotonic dystrophy type 1 or premutation allele, especially from the mother. A mother with myotonic dystrophy could be subfertile and the pregnancy could be complicated with the risk of a preterm birth. Newborns with CMD may demonstrate symptoms such as hypotonia and poor motor activity, as well as respiratory and feeding difficulties. Additionally, CMD has a high mortality rate at birth. Detection of the signs and symptoms during pregnancy is helpful for a prenatal diagnosis of CMD in cases where the family history is not known.
