Time Delay Effect on the Love Dynamical Model

We investigate the effect of time delay on the dynamical model of love. The local stability analysis proves that the time delay on the return function can cause a Hopf bifurcation and a cyclic love dynamics. The condition for the occurrence of the Hopf bifurcation is also clarified. Through a numerical bifurcation analysis, we confirm the theoretical predictions on the Hopf bifurcation and obtain a universal bifurcation structure consisting of a supercritical Hopf bifurcation and a cascade of period-doubling bifurcations, i.e., a period doubling route to chaos.

마이크로시뮬레이션 모델은 거시적 수준의 인구, 사회, 경제 변화를 각 개인과 가구 단위의 미시적 수준의 사건들로부터 기술하고자 하는 것을 목적으로 하며, 최근 OECD 국가들을 중심으로 정책 시뮬레이션 도구로서 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 마이크로시뮬레이션 모델의 활용도를 높이기 위해서는 해당 국가의 인구 구조를 잘 반영하는 인구 데이터가 필요한데, 우리는 반복비례갱신 (iterative proportional updating) 방법을 이용하여 한국 가상 인구를 생성하였다. 생성된 가상 인구 데이터의 검증을 위하여 인구센서스 집계 결과와의 오차를 계산하였으며, 가구와 인구 모두에 대해서 실제 집계 결과와 작은 오차를 보이는 것을 확인하였다. Microsimulation model has aimed to simulate the impact of policy at the level of individual and household. Recently, microsimulation model has been widely accepted in OECD countries for evaluating their economic and social policies. For improving the availability of microsimulation model, the population data which shows good accordance with the official statistics should be required. In this paper, we generate Korean synthetic populations by using the iterative proportional updating method. For the validation of Korean synthetic populations, we compute the difference between the generated synthetic populations and the summary table of Korean census. Then, we confirm that it shows good accordance with the summary table.

We study the control of a transport property in a deterministic inertia ratchet system via ex- tended delay feedback. We stabilize a chaotic current of a ratchet system to a regular current by controlling an unstable periodic orbit embedded in a chaotic attractor of the uncontrolled system via feedbacking the delayed velocity of a particle. Dynamics of the Full Information Minority Game due to the Agent’s Impact

We propose the full information minority game (FIMG) in which agents perfectly recognize their impact on the market. For reflecting the impact of agents, we introduce an actual total action and an actual payoff which depend on the agent’s strategies. Unlike the perpetual fluctuating dynamics of the standard minority game, the dynamics of the FIMG settles into one of four steady states after a transient time. We classify steady states of the FIMG and analyze their characteristics. In most cases, the total payoff is maximized, and the total action settles into a periodic state. For measuring the degree of cooperation on the FIMG, we calculate a fraction of total payoff maximization and a mean relaxation time for the dynamics to settle into a steady state whose total payoff is maximized.

Kyoto Protocol is an international convention on concrete performance program for UNFCCC(United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), which regulate and prevent to global warming and officially came into effect on February 16, 2005. Kyoto flexible mechanisms, the agreed environmental system in March 1997 in the Third Conference of Parties in UNFCCC General Assembly, Emission Trading System(ETS), Clean Development Mechanism(CDM) and Joint Implementation(JI), are key policies related to environment. In advanced countries, greenhouse gas emissions should be reduced average 5.2% level compared to 1990 in total emissions during 2008-2012. World leading carbon market finished the trial on the EU ETSⅠ greenhouse gas emissions trading system, EU ETSⅡ is operated regularlyafter 2008. World Bank leads to make 'Prototype Carbon Fund(PCF)' in April 2004, which is the world first carbon fund and a representative public carbon fund type, World Bank operate various funds including present PCF. Thus, I would like to propose as follows in relation to this study: First, in the validity analysis of carbon funds, it would be needed to analyze the Emission Reduction Cost Efficiency(ERCE) of carbon. The ERCE is a break-even value which brings the Net Present Value(NPV) to zero. NPV approach is used among projects and it enables potential projects to be compared and evaluated the ERCE on the basis of the net present value of net future cash flows. Therefore, according to results of analysis, carbon funds should be developed and invested. Second, it would be necessary to allow of issuing bonds together with carbon funds, carbon finance etc. Third, carbon funds, it would be reasonable to have a relatively enough maturity in project and as a financial derivatives in the international financial markets, it is needed various types of transactions. Fourth, it would be needed to standardize the carbon emissions trading for more efficiently. Fifth, it would be necessary to establish and invest in various kinds of domestic and overseas global carbon funds, including governments, privates, governments and privates sectors. And it is also needed to establish the medium and long term plans for carbon funds. Sixth, it would be needed to foster the advanced trade mechanisms for carbon funds in the most effective ways. Finally, carbon funds should be used in harmony with international societies to reduce global warming as the social responsible investing funds and it should be contribute to sustainable development. In addition, it would seem that carbon funds should be studied on establishing the contributable standard of sustainable development in the future assignment.
