To minimize the trial and error by farmers who have no other choice but to use antibiotics for human-disease control, because no agricultural tetracycline for jujube witches-broom disease is available at this point. therapeutical efficacy of several commercial antibiotics against the disease through trunk injection was evaluated. The efficacy of human tetracyclines in trunk injection of jujube tree for witches-broom therapy varied to some extnet. Tetracyclines for intravenous or subepidermal injection showed the strongest symptom-suppression effect. Those, however, were not practical because of high price. On the other hand, tetracyclines in capsule were much cheaper than the former and can be used practically. For trunk injection, just the powder in capsule should be dissolved in clean water and then filtered through cheese cloth or tissue papaer to remove the sediments unnecessary for trees. Otherwise, the sediment would clog the injection hole and the feeder tube. In this experiment. tetracycline HCl of Glaxo made the least sediment in the solution. In addition, the plastic bottle to contain Korean wine was much cheaper and more practical than the commercial one for tree injection.

We have developed a computer vision system, including both facial feature extraction, that automatically discriminates among subtly different facial expressions. Expression classification is based on Facial Action Coding System(FACS) action units (AUs), and discrimination is performed using direct estimation. Upon extraction of the facial information, non-rigid facial expression is separated from the rigid head motion component, and the face images are automatically aligned and normalized using an affine transformation. A number of examples are shown.

The human face can provide a great deal of information in regard to his/her race, age, sex, personality, feeling, psychology, mental state, health condition and ect. If we pay a close attention to the aging process, we are able to find out that there are recognizable phenomena such as eyelid drooping, cheek drooping, forehead furrowing, hair falling-out, the hair becomes gray and etc. This paper proposes that the method to estimate the age by analyzing these feature components for the facial image. Ang we also introduce the method of facial image synthesis in accordance with the cange of age. The feature components according to the change of age can be obtainec by dividing the facial image into the 3-dimensional shape of a face and the texture of a face and then analyzing the principle component respectively using 3-dimensional model. We assume the age of the facial image by comparing the extracted feature component to the facial image and synthesize the resulted image by adding or subtracting the feature component to/from the facial image. As a resurt of this simulation, we have obtained the age changed ficial image of high quality.
