To investigate the potability of water from rural area of Kyung-Gi-Do, the bacteriological examination of water samples from Yong-In Gun and Hwa-Sung Gun were carried out. The results obtained can be summarized as follows: 1. The total viable cell count showed great difference between the samples; 3 samples included less than 1×10² per ㎖ and 6 samples more than 1×10⁴ per ㎖. The maximum count arrived at 1×10^5 per ㎖. 2. The existence of faecal Streptococcus was confirmed in the samples of 4 areas. 3. For the potability, only one sample was remarked as positive and all the others were judged as negative or suspect.

박인환과 영화- 영화평론(1948~1956)에 나타난 아메리카니즘

The purpose of this paper is, through a wide range of movie reviews of Park, In-hwan, to identify the scale of American movies that had been introduced to Korea from 1948 to 1956 and, furthermore, to examine the refractive aspects of Americanism in the reception discourse of American movies. Park, In-hwan was an energetic movie reviewer and poet, rather than a simple movie lover, enough to introduce as many as 140 Western motion pictures for himself. Park, In-hwan had introduced international movies to the Korean society focusing on the sense of anxiety in West and its will to overcome after the Second World War, as well as on aspects of conflict between the value of Europe and that of America. Especially, in the American movies shown after 1950s, he found ‘the youthful energy of American’ and compared it with the Korean culture of the post-Korean War period. During his cultural interactions, Park, In-hwan continuously published a variety of articles that favored Americanism. While, even in the period of Korean Liberation, Park, In-hwan showed a critical recognition on the Korean social and cultural conditions from the point of view of Third world, his viewpoint toward America had been changed after realizing the Western society that was beyond the Eurocentrism since 1950s. The American movies of the time that Park, In-hwan, himself, translated and introduced had a crucial influence on his transformation of world view. 이 논문의 목적은 박인환의 영화평론을 통해 한국에 수용된 미국영화의 규모를 살펴보고, 또한 미국영화 수용 담론 속에서 아메리카니즘의 굴절 양상을 검토하는 것이다. 서구영화를 무려 140편 가량 소개할 정도로 박인환은 단순한 영화 애호가가 아닌 정력적인 영화평론가이자 시인이었다. 그가 전후 서구의 불안의식과 극복에의 의지, 유럽적인 가치와 미국적인 가치의 대립 양상에 주목하면서 외국영화를 소개했다. 특히 1950년대 이후 상영된 미국영화를 통해서는 “미국의 청춘의 힘”을 발견하고 이를 한국의 전후(戰後) 문화와 비교하는 가운데 아메리카니즘을 긍정하는 글을 연이어 발표하게 된다. 해방기에만 하더라도 전후 한국의 사회적, 문화적 조건을 제3세계의 관점에서 비판적으로 인식했으나, 1950년대 이후에는 탈유럽화된 서구사회를 실감하게 되면서 미국에 대한 입장이 변모했다. 그 같은 세계관의 변화에는 박인환 자신이 번역하고 소개한 당대 미국영화의 영향이 결정적이었다.

After a liberation in Korea, Si-chang-jak-lon(1949) printed the first poet theory of Seo Jeongju, is a creative introduction designed to reflect the prosperous condition of publishing market and the social demand for creation, to promote the creative passions of literary aspirants. jak-go-si-in-seon(1950) and Si-chang-jak-gyo-sil(1956) also took on media characteristics that had collected and spread the ideology about universality, purity and nation of mun-hyeop-pa in a process of the institutionalized cultural production. Seo Jeongju's poetics sublimate sense, emotion and intellect into the universal validity of poetic values. However, what is more important in a sense of Poetic Writing Theory is that the concept of 'intellect' reported as a poetics, is appropriated the traditional discourse named 'Shin-ra spirit' in late 1950s. That mentality is a part of cultural discourses in humanism realizing the universal human pattern as well as the articulation of far-right ideology not to be unconcerned in nationalism.

대학생의 불안과 휴대폰 중독과의 관계: 대학생활적응의 매개효과

본 연구에서는 대학생의 휴대폰 중독에 영향을 미치는 요인들 중에서 불안과 대학생활적응이 어떠한 인과관계의 영향력으로 설명이 될 수 있는지 구조방정식 모형분석을 하였다. 연구대상은 광주광역시 소재 대학교에 재학중인 대학생 479명이며 설문지를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 15.0으로 기술통계, cronbach's ${\alpha}$, 상관분석, 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였고, AMOS 7.0을 사용하여 확인적 요인분석과 변수들간의 인관과계에 대한 경로분석을 실시하였다. 구조방정식 모형분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 외생변수인 대학생의 불안은 대학생활적응에 부의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 대학생활적응은 휴대폰 중독에 부의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생의 불안은 휴대폰 중독에 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 대학생활적응은 불안과 휴대폰 중독의 관계에서 매개효과를 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. The purpose of this study was to investigate an association between anxiety, cellular phone addiction and adjustment to college life in undergraduate students using structural equating model (SEM). This study was verify whether adjustment to college life mediated the relationship between anxiety and cellular phone addiction. Participants of this study were 479 undergraduate students in Gwangju city in accordance to convenience sampling. SPSS 15.0 was employed for descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, calculation for cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient, exploratory factor analysis. Also, AMOS 7.0 was employed for confirmative factor analysis and path analysis of casual relation among variables and effect. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, anxiety had a negative effect on adjustment to college life and adjustment to college life had a negative effect on cellular phone addiction. Second, anxiety had a positive effect on cellular phone addiction. Third, it was founded that adjustment to college life partially mediated the relationship between anxiety and cellular phone addiction.

Three species of Pediococci, Pediococcus pentosaceus, Pedioeoccus acidilactici and Pediococcus halophilus were isolated from Kimchi. P. pentosaceus and P. acidilactici showed inhibitory activity against Streptococcus faecalis, Pseudomonas sp., P20 and Vibrio parahaemolyticus. However, the growth of all test organisms was not inhibited by P. halophilus. Ten strains contained one to seven plasmids, ranging in size from 1 to 60 megadaltons.

Feasibility and Efficacy of Eribulin Mesilate in Korean Patients with Metastatic Breast Cancer: Korean Multi-center Phase IV Clinical Study Results

Purpose Eribulin mesilate was approved for the treatment of patients with locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer (MBC), who had received at least two chemotherapeutic regimens, including anthracycline and taxane. On the other hand, the efficacy and safety information of eribulin in Korean patients is limited by the lack of clinical trials. Materials and Methods In this multicenter, open-label, single-arm, phase IV study, locally advanced or MBC patients were enrolled between June 2013 and April 2014 from 14 centers in Korea. One point four mg/m2 dose of eribulin was administered on days 1 and 8 of every 21 days. The primary endpoint was the frequency and intensity of the treatment emergent adverse event. The secondary endpoint was the disease control rate, which included the rate of complete responses, partial responses, and stable disease. Results A total of 101 patients received at least one dose of eribulin and were included in the safety set. The patients received a total of 543 treatment cycles, with a median of three cycles (range, 1 to 31 cycles). The most common adverse event was neutropenia (91.1% of patients, 48.3% of cycles). The frequent non-hematological adverse events included alopecia, decrease in appetite, fatigue/asthenia, and myalgia/arthralgia. The peripheral neuropathy of any grade occurred in 27 patients (26.7%), including grade 3 in two patients. Disease control rate was 52.7% and 51.3% of patients in the full analysis set and per-protocol set, respectively. Conclusion This study demonstrated the feasible safety profile and activity of eribulin in Korean patients with MBC.

다문화 교육 프로그램 개발 과정 연구

우리나라를 비롯한 다양한 나라의 역사와 문화가 살아 숨쉬는 ‘박물관’은 다문화 교육을 위 한 효과적이고 의미 있는 공간이다. 이 논문은 국립중앙박물관의 다문화 교육 프로그램에 대 한 변천 과정과 개발 과정을 소개하고 평가를 바탕으로 제기된 문제점과 개선점에 대해 논의 함으로써 박물관에서 다문화 교육의 의미와 방향을 모색하는 계기를 마련코자 한다. 국립중앙 박물관에서는 2005년 한국 문화를 알리는 이주민 대상 교육이 시작된 이 후, 2008년부터는 다 양한 문화 이해를 위한 한국인 대상 교육도 전개되었다. 한국인 대상 교육 중 아시아관 활용 문화 이해 교육인 ‘연극놀이’와 ‘체험가방’을 사례로, 그 개발과정을 비롯하여 운영에 대한 평 가에서 드러난 문제점과 보완점을 언급하였다. 이에 기초하여, 다문화 교육의 방향을 교육 목 적과 의도의 명확화, 교육 구성의 전문화 그리고 교육 평가 체계 마련 등 세 가지로 제시하였 으며, 결론적으로 차이의 극복과 다양성의 존중이 동반되어야 하는 다문화 교육은 박물관의 본질을 살려 연구, 시도할 때 그 특유의 진정성과 효과를 더 할 수 있다는 제언으로 논문을 마무리하였다.
