        질소시비와 봄배추 저온저장 중 생리장해

        질소시비가 봄배추 저온저장 중 생리장해에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 질산태와 암모니아태 질소 시비량을 달리한 배추를 90일간 저온저장하였다. 질산태질소를 2배 시비(60 kg/10a)한 배추 구중이 3.80 kg으로 컸으며 90일 저장 후 손실률은 20.0%로 낮았다. 저온저장 중 pH는 6.16에서 6.63-6.96으로 증가하였으며, 가용성 고형분과 유리당 함량은 감소하였다. 깨씨무늬 발생은 질소비료의 종류에 상관없이 2배 시비일 때 발생정도가 2.82로 기준시비구의 2.20보다 증가하였다. 그외 생리장해는 모든 처리구에서 중륵갈변이 약간 발생하였고 암모니아태 기준시비구에서만 무름병이 발생하였다. 저장 중 배추 겉잎에 곰팡이는 대부분 발생하였으나 정선 후 품질에는 영향을 주지 않았고 김치원료로 사용할 수 있는 수준이었다. 질산태질소 2배 시비가 배추 구중을 증가시키고 손실률을 감소시켰으나 깨씨무늬 발생은 증가되었다. 봄배추 질소시비는 사용 목적과 저장기간에 맞춰 비료종류와 시비량을 조절하는 것이 바람직하다고 판단된다. Ammonium (NH<sub>4</sub><sup>+</sup>-N) and nitrate-nitrogen (NO<sub>3</sub>-N) fertilizers were spread 30 kg/10a and 60 kg/10a, respectively, as additional fertilizers in nitrogen fertilization to investigate their effects on spring kimchi cabbage's physiological disorders during cold storage. The initial weight of spring kimchi cabbage after harvesting was 3.80 kg with two-fold NO<sub>3</sub>-N, whereas it was 3.22 kg with one-fold NO<sub>3</sub>-N. After 90 days of cold storage, the total loss ratio became lower as the nitrogen fertilizer ratio increased. The pH increased, reducing sugar content decrease during the storage. Black speck occurrence became higher as the nitrogen fertilizer increased. Mid-rib brown stain and soft rot were observed slightly in kimchi cabbage regardless of the nitrogen fertilizer ratio. Two-fold NO<sub>3</sub>-N fertilization showed a positive effect on increasing weight and reducing kimchi cabbage loss, but it exhibited a negative effect on the black speck. The method and content of nitrogen fertilization of spring kimchi cabbage may be adjusted according to the usage and storage periods.

        Uni- or bilateral mandibular hypoplasia can be associated with various syndromes or is acquired after early traumatic or inflammatory disease in the temporomandibular joint(TMJ). Early treatment is necessary to avoid consequent impairment of midfacial growth. The standard treatment of these malformations consists of the application of bone grafts which can lead to unpredictable growth, but the new procedure of bone lengthening which was presented by McCarthy et al. represents a limited surgical intervention and therefore open up a new perspective of treatment, especially in younger children with severe deformities. Patients with hemifacial microsomia and facial asymmetry have a vertically short maxilla, a tilted occlusal plane, and a short mandible. A 14-years-old boy with facial asymmetry, who was fractured on both condyle and mandibular symphysis before 8 years ago, was treated by mandibular ramus lengthening, symphysial widening and surgically assisted rapid palatal expansion with corticotomy. After allowing 1 week for the healing of the periosteum, the distraction was performed at the rate of 0.5-1.0mm per day for 7 days on maxilla and 14 days on mandible. The device was maintained on maxilla and mandible for 12 weeks following distraction. The difference in ramus and mandibular transverse deficiency were corrected and facial asymmetry was improved with complex distraction osteogenesis.

        비-안와-사골 복합골절에 관한 임상적 연구

        This study was aimed at furnishing the data of Naso-orbito-ethmoidal fractures and aiding treatmenting Naso-orbito-ethmoidal fractures A 5-year review of Naso-orbito-ethmoidal fractures and concomitant injuries is presented. The patients were treated in the Dept. of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of Wankwang University Hospital from Jan. 1, 1993 to Dec. 31, 1997. The results were as followes: Male predominated over female by a ratio of 4.6 : 1. The most common reasons is traffic accident(88.2%). The elapsed time from injury to operation is average 9.2 days, and the mean admission days were 79 days and removal of plates were average 217.3 days. The most associated facial bone fractures is Zygomatico-Maxillary complex fracture(20%). Associated injuries were neurologic injury(29.4%), orthopedic injury(23.5%), opthalmologic injury(17.6%), body injury(5.8%), neuropsychologic injury(5.8%) and otolaryngologic injury(5.8%) in this order. The most injured teeth were upper and lower incisors. The intubation methods for surgery were orotracheal(29.57%), submental(29.5%), and nasotracheal technique(41%). Most patients had complications, that were post-traumatic telecanthus, nasal depression, scar formation. This results suggest that early diagnosis and treatment is prerequisits to satisfactory result. Aggressive management of NOE fracture with direct or bicoronal exposure with aid of CT is now an accepted norm.

        월별 배추의 품질특성 비교

        배추 재배시기에 따른 품질특성을 비교하기 위해 월별 배추의 생육특성과 이화학특성, 미생물 특성을 분석하고 군집분석을 수행하였다. 군집특성은 5-6월(I), 7월과 10월(II), 8-9월(III), 11-12월과 1월(IV), 2-4월(V) 총 5그룹으로 분류되는데 이는 배추 작형과도 대부분 일치되었다. 주성분 분석을 통한 그룹별 특성의 경우 I 그룹은 미생물 수, II와 III 그룹은 수분함량, IV, V 그룹은 구중과 유리당 함량이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 배추 품질특성에서 높은 상관관계를 보이는 항목은 구중과 결구율, 고형분 함량과 유리당 함량이었고, 고형분 함량과 유리당 함량을 회귀식으로 나타내면 Y(유리당) = 0.8195X(고형분 함량) - 1.2451로 나타낼 수 있는데 이를 활용해 배추의 고형분 함량으로 유리당 함량을 추정할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구를 통한 월별 배추의 품질특성은 해당 시기에 김치를 제조할 때 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. In order to compare the quality characteristics in accordance with the cultivation period of Kimchi cabbage, the growth, physicochemical, and microbial characteristics of Kimchi cabbage were analyzed and cluster analysis was performed. The cluster analysis produced 5 groups: May-June (I), July and October (II), August-September (III), November, December and January (IV), and February-April (V). The classification coincided mainly with the cultivation type of Kimchi cabbage. The characteristics of each group were examined through principle component analysis (PCA), and the results showed that the number of microorganisms in (I), the water content in (II) and (III), and the weight of head and free sugar content in (IV) and (V) were high. For the quality characteristics of the Kimchi cabbage, there was a high correlation between the head weight and the head formation index and between the solid content and the free sugar content. In particular, the solid content and the free sugar content can be expressed by a regression equation as Y (free sugar content) = 0.8195X (solid content) - 1.2451, and it is expected that the free sugar content can be estimated from the solid content of Kimchi cabbage. The quality characteristics of Kimchi cabbage by month based on this study are expected to be utilized as basic data for manufacturing kimchi.

        천연 추출물을 이용한 무 피클의 제조 및 품질 평가

        This study examined the physicochemical properties of radish pickle containing different natural preservatives (grapefruit seed extract, green tea extract, rosemary, or olive) stored for 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 weeks. The hardness and color of the radish pickles with the grapefruit seed extract was higher than the other radish pickles during storage from week 0 to week 4. A 14.52% and 13.80% decrease in hardness and color were observed in the radish pickles with grapefruit seed extract (GFE), respectively. In addition, the total phenolic content was highest in the GFE in natural preservatives. Based on the results, GFE was selected as the optimal natural preservatives, and the growth of total viable bacteria and yeast were evaluated. The total viable bacteria and yeast showed similar patterns to the control. These results are expected to be useful in producing radish pickles with optimal quality and contribute to the development of various foods in the food industry.

        고산도 동치미 제조를 위한 최적 조건 및 품질에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 동치미의 산업 이용성을 확대하기 위해서 고산도 동치미의 최적 조건을 찾고 각각의 요인이 품질에 미치는 영향을 종합적으로 고찰하였다. 동치미에 pH 완충제의 역할을 하는 구연산 칼륨 및 다양한 당을 첨가하여 종래의 동치미와 비교하여 최적 조건을 제시하였다. Sucrose, fructose, glucose, mannitol, 물엿, 올리고당 중 sucrose에서 가장 높은 산도를 나타냈으며, 구연산 칼륨을 첨가할 시 pH 완충 효과로 비첨가군 대비 약 2.2배 산도를 높이는 효과가 있었다. 또한, 아무것도 첨가하지 않은 대조군과 비교하였을 때, sucrose와 구연산 칼륨을 동시에 처리한 군(PS)에서 최대 3배 이상 산도를 높일 수 있어 종래의 동치미보다 산도를 높이는데 탁월하였다. 이러한 동치미의 유기산 함량을 분석한 결과 발효 15일차에서 구연산 칼륨첨가 유무에 따른 함량 차이가 약 3 .7배 이상 높게 나타났다. 이는 pH 완충 효과로 인한 미생물 대사 활동의 억제를 막을 수 있었기 때문으로 사료된다. 추가로 유리당 분석 결과에서도 역시 구연산 칼륨을 넣은 그룹에서 대사가 비교적 더 활발할 것으로 추정되는 결과를 얻었다. 본 연구 결과는 동치미 및 동치미 활용 식품산업에서 속성으로 고산도의 발효 동치미를 만드는 제조 방법으로 사용될 수 있으며, 품질에 미치는 영향은 동치미 연구의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. Dongchimi is one of the most representative types of watery kimchi in Korea. Although the scope of application of dongchimi has been expanded, research on the quality of dongchimi is insufficient compared to that of baechu kimchi. This study aimed to find the optimal manufacturing condition of high-acidity dongchimi and investigate the effects of potassium citrate (P) and sugar (S) on quality. Different dongchimi samples (Control, S, P) were prepared and stored at 15oC for 15 days. Among the various sugars, sucrose made the highest acidity of dongchimi. When potassium citrate was added as a pH buffer, the acidity was 2.2 times higher than the control group. In the PS group, where sucrose and potassium citrate were added, the acidity and organic acid content were 3-fold and 3.7-fold higher, respectively, than those in the control group. As a result of the analysis of the free sugar content, the metabolism of lactic acid bacteria was expected to be relatively more activated in the PS group. Therefore, this study could be utilized in the dongchimi manufacturing industry or as primary data for other dongchimi research.

        소아의 하악골 골절에 관한 임상적 연구

        The jaws of children differ from those of adults in the aspects of architectural and mechanical properties, sites, form and treatment modality. This study reviews the result of treatment of pediatric mandibular fractures between 1994 and 1998 at dept. of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, School of dentistry, Wonkwang University by means of the age and sex distribution, mechanism of injury, location of fractures and associated patterns, fracture management, postoperative complications, any associated injuries to other organ systems. Total number of these study was 61 facial bone fractures in 32 patients. The results were as follows. 1.The pediatric mandibular fractures predominated in the age of 6∼12, and had no sexual predilection. 2.The main cause of pediatric mandibular fractures was the traffic related accidents(56.2%) 3.The condylar fracture only was 23 cases (37.7%) in total 61 sites of mandibular fractures and the symphysis fracture was 20 (32.7%) ; the highest incidence of mandibualr fracture was the symphysis with unilateral condyle combined fracture in 61 total mandibular fracture sites. 4.The major postoperative complication was deviation during mouth opening (41.2%) and the facial asymmetry(17.7%) in second. 5.Soft tissue laceration(53%) was the most associated injury with mandibular fracture and the abdominal injury(12.5%), the head injury(12.5%), and the extrimity injury (6.2%) in order.

      • 시뮬레이션 기반의 인적자본지수 향상을 위한 실천전략에 관한 연구

        In this study, we focus on defining a human capital, and measuring the human capital index (HCI) which can be used as a proxy of the amount of either human capital or knowledge. For this purpose, we applied a several literature, obtained relevant factors statically from the questionnaire data, and calculated a concrete HCI for each of firms under consideration. The questionnaire data were rigorously collected from 1500 persons of 42 firms in Korean Stock Market. On the basis of the HCI model, we performed HCI simulation. The simulation results showed that proposed approach could be used effectively for analyzing the human capital when the market is rapidly changing.
