Titration method is one of the widely used methods for the concentration measurement of absorbent ammonia/water. However, this method is inconvenient because the solution should be extracted for the measurement. Moreover, significant error can be introduced by the evaporation of ammonia during the sampling and measuring procedure. In this study a reliable in-line concentration measurement method was proposed. To prove the validity of the concept, a measuring apparatus was designed, built, and tested with water. It is found that the location of flow inlet and exit is important in the measurement accuracy. The flow inlet and exit located in the middle of the test cell showed the best result. By the error analysis, it is expected that the ammonia concentration can be measured within the error of $\pm$0.18% assuming the error of 0.1 K in temperature measurement and 0.1 g in weight measurement.

One of the major problems for poly-Si TFTs is the large off state leakage current. LDD (lightly doped drain) and offset gated structures have been employed in order to reduce the leakage current. However, these structures also redcue the oN current significantly due to the extra series resistance caussed by the LDD or offset region. It is desirable to have a device which would have the properties of the offset gated structure in the OFF state, while behaving like a fully gated device in the oN state. Therefore, we propose a new thin film transistor with pnp junction gate which reduce the leakage curretn during the OFF state without sacrificing the ON current during the ON state.
오프셋 마스크를 이용하지 않는 새로운 자기 정합 폴리 실리콘 박막 트랜지스터

We have proposed a novel self-aligned offset gated polysilicon TFTs device without an offset mask in order to reduce a leakage current and suppress a kink effect. The photolithographic process steps of the new TFTs device are identical to those of conventional non-offset structure TFTs and an additional mask to fabricate an offset structure is not required in our device due to the self-aligned process. The new device has demonstrated a lower leakage current and a better ON/OFF current ratio compared with the conventional non-offset device. The new TFT device also exhibits a considerable reduction of the kink effect because a very thin film TFT devices may be easily fabricated due to the elimination of contact over-etch problem.

Natural gas is considered to be an alternative fuel for passenger car, truck transportation and stationary engines that can provide both good environmental effect and energy security. However, as the composition of fuel natural gas varies with the location, climate and other factor, such changes in fuel properties affect emission characteristics and performance of CNG engine. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of differences in fuel composition on raw hydrocarbon emission characteristics.<br/> Using methane 100 % and five types of natural gas fuels which were selected in consideration of Wobbe index(WI) and maximum combustion potential(MCP), each experimental was made on the condition of engine emission test. The speciated Hydrocarbon emission is analyzed by using gas chromatography.<br/> The results showed that the total hydrocarbon(THC) is decreased with an increasing WI and MCP on the two engine test condition. As the fraction of non-methane hydrocarbon (NMHC) in fuel, especially ethane, is increased, engine-out NMHC emission is increased. This results showed on equivalent CH₄ ozone reactivity.<br/>
