Exergetic analysis for optimization of a rotating equilateral triangular cooling channel with staggered square ribs

Exergetic analysis was introduced in optimization of a rotating equilateral triangular internal cooling channel with staggered square ribs to maximize the net exergy gain. The objective function was defined as the net exergy gain considering the exergy gain by heat transfer and exergy losses by friction and heat transfer process. The flow field and heat transfer in the channel were analysed using three-dimensional Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations under the uniform temperature condition. Shear stress transport turbulence model has been selected as a turbulence closure through the turbulence model test. Computational results for the area-averaged Nusselt number were validated compared to the experimental data. Three design variables, i.e., the angle of rib, the rib pitch-to-hydraulic diameter ratio and the rib width-to-hydraulic diameter ratio, were selected for the optimization. The optimization was performed at Reynolds number, 20,000. Twenty-two design points were selected by Latin hypercube sampling, and the values of the objective function were evaluated by the RANS analysis at these points. Through optimization, the objective function value was improved by 22.6% compared to that of the reference geometry. Effects of the Reynolds number, rotation number, and buoyancy parameter on the heat transfer performance of the optimum design were also discussed.

〈李守則傳〉群의 서사양상과 작가의식 ― 주변 인물 서사를 중심으로

본 논문은 이수칙전 군의 서사 양상과 작가 의식을 살펴보았다. 성해응은 「이수칙」에서 장헌세자와의 만남, 재회 등을 구체화하여 장헌세자와의 애정 관계를 강조하고, 수칙의 은둔을 자신을 사랑하다 먼저 간 남성을 향한 적극적인 절렬(節烈)로 규정하였다. 이옥은 「수칙전」에서 은둔 조력자인 이모 서사를 수칙과 대등하게 확대하고 수칙과 이모의 행위를 대비시킴으로써 수칙의 오랜 고절(苦節)을 고양하였다. 이건창은 「이수칙전」에서 은둔 조력자를 동생으로 교체하여 수칙이 적극적으로 침묵의 의지를 펴게 하고 그것을 임금의 정치적 행보와 연결시켜 수칙이 죽은 세자와 당대 임금을 위해 충을 행하였다고 칭송하였다. 이수칙전 군은 입전 인물 중심의 전 양식에서 주변 인물 서사의 다양성을 이끌었을 뿐만 아니라 주변 인물 서사가 주제 의식의 바탕이 되는 것까지 보여주었다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 또 개인의 역사를 다루는 장르가 허구적 상상력을 적용하는 한 시점을 보여준다는 점에서도 의의가 있다. This paper aims to examine the narrative changes of the surrounding characters in the group of Leesuchikjeon and explore the consciousness of the writer expressed through these changes. In Leesuchik, Seong Hae-eung emphasizes the affectionate relationship with Crown Prince Jangheon by specifying their encounter and reunion, while defining the Leesuchik’s seclusion as a passionate and resolute dedication to the man who loved her but passed away before her. In Suchikjeon, Lee-ok expands the narrative of Suchik’s aunt who helps her to an equal status with Suchik and contrasts their actions to elevate Suchik’s long-standing integrity. In Leesuchikjeon, Lee Geon-chang replaces the helper with a younger brother, enabling Suchik to express the will of silence actively, connecting it to the political actions of the king, and praising Suchik for serving both the deceased crown prince and the contemporary king with loyalty. The fact that the surrounding characters in the group of Leesuchikjeon are portrayed as being on equal footing with the main characters, or that their roles are enhanced, corresponds to a point in the process that Jeons becme novels in the late Joseon period.

조귀명(趙龜命)의 「매분구옥랑전(賣粉嫗玉娘傳)」읽기 - ‘전기(傳奇)’적 인물형과 열린 구조로서

The content of “Maebun-gu and Okrangjeon” is different from other Yeolnyeojeon because the author added a new element in the process of forming Yeol. Cho Gui-myeong presents Baega and Seopjeong, and Somu and Hojeon as examples and against these men he presents women who give up her life solely because of lust. However because he does not reveal what he tries to say, readers have questions about distinguishing between public and private loyalty, and between male and female loyalty and so on. Maebun-gu and Okrang s stories is presented in the main text. Maebun-gu makes love with a man, but fails due to her parents' opposition. When the man dies of lovesickness, he wanders around selling making-up powder without getting married. Oklang passionately falls in love with a man, but does not complete their love because of his sudden death. And even after his death she is polite to his relatives. In the commentary Cho Gui-myeong defines the love of Maebun-gu and Okrang as loyalty, and evaluates as homologous to men’s loyalty by comparing them with the loyalty of Kim Siseop and Kim In-hoo. This is to say that it is difficult to distinguish between public and private loyalty, and male and female loyalty, but rather women's loyalty is more noble. And this raises the issue against medieval legitimate ideology. “Maebun-gu and Okrangjeon” embraces the narrative of the biography of affection and embodies the characters. The biography of affection reveals a sense of problem through narratives such as love between men and women, conflicts between individuals and the world, and tragic endings. But the most important thing in the narrative is love that transcends the death of lovers. The biography of affection is extremely personal and visceral, but ultimately acknowledging the value of the power it has. “Maebun-gu and Okrangjeon” embodies the loyalty of women who transcend death for love by accommodating affectionate electrical figures in the process of forming Yeolnyeo. This poses a problem with the perception of the world that differentiates and ranks the subjects of loyalty and allows the work to be interpreted as a different topic beyond Yeolnyeojeon. The outstanding difference between “Maebun-gu and Okrangjeon“” and the existing biography is that the man died and the woman survived. The life of a woman who survived the death of a man appears in the form of maintaining integrity, which makes this work interpretable within a confucian ideology. “Maebun-gu and Okrangjeon” has open structure that can be interpreted in various ways.

홍경모(洪敬謨)의 조귀명(趙龜命) 산문 수용 양상

이 논문은 홍경모(洪敬謨)가 조귀명(趙龜命)의 산문을 수용하는 양상을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이에 홍경모의 산문 두 편을 대상으로 조귀명의 글을 수용하는 방식을 분석하였다. 「제오헌김우옥여계온와유첩(題寤軒金友玉如啓溫臥遊帖)」에서는 주로 문장 단위의 인용이 이루어졌는데, 조귀명의 철학적 사유나 그것을 기반으로 한 의론을 홍경모가 실제 상황이나 풍경을 읊는 데에 적용하였다. 「제이씨문(祭李氏文)」은 비슷한 지위와 이력의 인물을 대상으로 하는 동일 갈래의 글을 수용하여 구성과 언어, 주제까지도 모방하였다. 이로써 홍경모가 평소 조귀명의 글을 익숙히 보았으며 또 조귀명의 철학적 사유까지도 전폭적으로 수용하였음을 알 수 있었다. 홍경모에게 있어 조귀명은 문명이 있는 동당 선인이면서 학문에서도 자신보다 앞서 일가를 이룬 인물이다. 따라서 홍경모가 조귀명의 산문을 적극적으로 수용한 것은 19세기 문학 흐름을 따름과 동시에 개인적 경도와 숭앙이 바탕에 자리했던 것이라고 할 수 있다.

This paper presents numerical optimization of the design of a rotating rectangular channel with staggered arrays of pin-fins with Kriging metamodeling technique. Two non-dimensional variables, the ratio of the height to diameter of the pin-fin and the ratio of the spacing between the pin-fins to diameter of the pin-fins are chosen as design variables. The objective function as a linear combination of heat transfer and friction loss related terms with a weighting factor is selected for the optimization. Objective function values at twenty training points generated by Latin hypercube sampling (LHS) are evaluated by three-dimensional Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) method with the shear stress transport (SST) turbulence model. The prediction of objective function by Kriging metamodeling at optimum point shows reasonable accuracy in comparison with the values calculated by RANS analysis. With increase in height of the pin-fin, heat transfer is decreased and at the same time pressure drop is also decreased, while opposite behavior is obtained for the pin-fin spacing.

동계(東谿) 조귀명(趙龜命)의 전(傳) 서술방식 연구 : 인물 형상화 방식을 중심으로

본고는 조귀명의 인물전 7편을 대상으로 인물 형상화 방식을 살펴보았다. 도문분리를 주장하고 인간의 개성 존중을 추구한 조귀명의 문학관이 전(傳) 문학에서 어떻게 구현되었는지 확인하고자 해서다. 조귀명이 입전한 인물들은 모두 충(忠), 의(義), 열(烈)을 실천한 인물들이었다. 하지만 조귀명이 진정으로 인정한 그들의 가치는 부조리한 세계와 타협하지 않고 적극적이고 주체적으로 삶을 이끌어가는 태도에 있었다. 이에 조귀명은 첫째, 전고 인물들을 인용하여 확실한 이미지를 만들었다. 둘째, 생생하게 묘사하여 비범한 인물상을 완성하였다. 셋째, 상반되는 대상과 대비시켜 입전 인물의 주체성을 부각시켰다. 그리하여 단순한 충, 의, 열의 표상이 아닌 적극적인 삶의 주체로서의 인물상을 완성하였다. This paper examined the character shaping method for seven biographies of Cho Gui-myeong. This is to confirm how Cho Gui-myeong s literary perspective which insisted on Do-Mun-Bun-Ri and pursued respect for human personality, was implemented in biographic literature. All of the characters Cho Gui-myeong joined were those who practiced Choong, Ui, and Yol. However, their value, truly recognized by Cho Gui-myeong, was in an attitude that led their lives actively and independently without compromising with the unfair world. Accordingly, Cho Gui-myeong first created the image of the characters by utilizing the former persons. Second, he completed extraordinary figures by describing very likely scenes. Third, he emphasized the subjectivity of characters by the contrasting composition. Thus the figure as an active subject of life was completed, not just a representation of Choong, Ui, and Yol.

대학 글쓰기 교재 개편 방안 -전북대학교 글쓰기 교재를 중심으로-

본 연구는 현재 사용 중인 교재를 살펴 문제점을 찾고, 새로 개편될 교재의 방향성을 모색하는 데에 목적이 있다. 전북대학교 글쓰기 교재는 ‘의사소통 중심’, ‘학습자 중심’의 개발 원리에 따라 개발되었다. 따라서 의사소통 능력을 향상시킬수 있는 실제적 활동을 담고 있어야 하며, 학생들이 주체적 쓰기 활동을 수행할수 있는 최적의 조건을 갖추고 있어야 한다. 이를 확인하기 위해 준거를 설정하고 교재를 분석한 결과, 쓰기 과정 중심, 이론 중심으로 구성되었고, 전공이나 직업과 관련된 내용을 본격적으로 다루고 있음이 파악되었다. 글쓰기는 교양 교육의 핵심 교과로서, 학습자가 인류 문화의 계승자이면서 변화하는 사회의 주체자로 자리매김할 수 있도록 그 초석이 되어야 한다. 따라서 대학 글쓰기 교육 과정은 쓰기전략뿐 아니라 쓰기 주체의 자기 성찰, 사회를 향한 비판적 관점 강화 과정을 모두 포함하여야 한다. 이에 새로 개편될 교재에는, 비판적 사고력 신장을 위한 읽기 과정을 추가하여 읽기-쓰기를 연계한 통합 글쓰 기로 발전시키고, 연습 문제 보강을 통하여 실제적 활동을 강화하며, 자아 성찰적 글쓰기를 추가할 것을 제안한다. The purpose of this study is to find problems of the writing textbook currently in use and to search for the direction of reorganization of the textbook. The writing textbook was developed according to the principles of communication centered and learner centered . Therefore, this textbook should not only contain practical activities to improve communication skills of students, but also have the optimal conditions for students to perform active writing. I analyzed the textbook based on several criteria and have found the problems. The textbook deals with only writing process without reading process. mainly constitutes of theories. and deals too much with contents about jobs. Writing as the core of liberal arts education should be the cornerstone for the learner to become the successor of human culture and become the subject of changing society. Therefore, the university writing education curriculum should include not only the writing strategy, but also the process of strengthening self-reflection and critical thinking. I suggested that the new textbook should be reorganized as follows. First, the reading process for critical thinking should be supplemented in order to integrated reading and writing to writing. Second, the exercises should be diversified to strengthen learning activities. Third, self-reflective writing should be supplemented.
