긴 레버암과 골격성 고정원을 이용한 돌출입 환자의 설측 교정 치험례

27-year-old woman came to the clinic. Her chief complaint were lip protrusion and lower anterior teeth crowding. She wanted a lingual orthodontic appliance on the maxilla and a labial appliance on the mandible. Because she had lip protrusion with large overjet, premolar extraction treatment was selected. The retraction wire with a long lever-arm and skeletal anchorage system was applied for torque and vertical control of upper anterior teeth. Moreover, additional over-torque was applied on maxillary anterior teeth during making set-up model to prevent excessive torque loss. After orthodontic treatment, the appearance of the lip protrusion was improved. Angle Class I molar and canine relationship were accomplished. The large overjet of anteriors were improved without excessive torque loss of upper anteriors.

If a third molar has satisfactory shape and position, it can be a good substitute of the second molar. A 21-year-old woman had been referred to the clinic. She wanted to get an orthodontic treatment before prosthetic treatment. To minimize prosthetic treatment, the maxillary and mandibular third molars were planned to substitute the second molars. After second molar extraction, the maxillary third molar erupted with a slight mesial angulation without any intervention, which was corrected with minor adjustment using fixed appliance. The mandibular third molar was successfully protracted by loop mechanics using stainless steel wire with a root-mesial moment.

대용량 연구자원과 실시간 데이터 전달을 필요로 하는 대용량 어플리케이션은 현재의 인터넷 환경보다 더 안정적이고 성능이 우수한 네트워킹 환경을 요구하고 있다. 최근의 글로벌 연구망에서는 이러한 어플리케이션의 요구를 충족하기 위해 람다 네트워킹 기술과 자원할당 시스템의 활용에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 본 논문에서는 성능과 안정성이 우수한 람다네트워킹의 장점을 반영하기 위해 기존 DRS(Dynamic Right-Sizing) 모델을 수정하였다. 아울러, 융합형 NRPS(Network Resource Provisioning System) 모델에 본 논문의 수정된 DRS 모델을 적용한 고성능 람다 네트워크의 설계방안을 제시한다. Large-scale applications, that needs large-capacity R&D resources and realtime data transmission, have demanded more stable and high-performance network environment than current Internet environments. Recently, global R&D networks have focuses on utilizing Lambda networking technologies and resource reservation systems to be satisfied with various applications` requirements. In this paper, we modify the existing DRS (Dynamic Right-Sizing) model to reflect various advantages in terms of the stability and high-capacity of Lambda network. In addition, we suggest the design methodology of high-performance Lambda network, which can integrate NRPS (Network Resource Provisioning System) into our modified DRS model.
람다네크워크를 통한 대규모 멀티도메인 그리드환경구현 연구

분산된 자원의 실시간 정보교환과 그리드를 통한 효율적인 자원 재구성을 위해서는 기존의 단일 도메인에서 구성되는 네트워크와는 다르게 대규모 가상도메인(Large-Scale Multi-domain)을 위한 네트워크의 성능과 기능 향상이 필요하다. 그리드네트워크를 기반으로 활발히 진행 중인 글로벌한 연구자원을 대상으로 공유된 자원의 성능 개선과 자원 간 데이터전달의 효율 개선을 위해 TDM(Time Division Multiplexing)기반의 Multi-Point Lambda-Path Ring 구현 기술을 제안하고 이를 Multi-Domain 간 Control Plane하에서 최적의 가상도메인으로 구성 할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다.
Modified Bonded TPA를 이용한 골격성 II급 개방교합 환자의 치료

A 23-year-old woman with an anterior open bite malocclusion was referred to the clinic. Because she was a skeletal Class II hyperdivergent pattern with retruded mandible, molar intrusion was planned to correct the open bite as an effective strategy. Newly designed modified bonded TPA was applied to intrude the maxillary molars without the excessive vertical change of the incisors which was in normal range. Molars were successfully intruded bilaterally without any buccolingual tilting. The autorotation of the mandible was accompanied with molar intrusion, which contributed to the improvement of facial esthetics.

As the first facility of VLBI observation, KVN (Korean very long baseline interferometer network) is consists`of three radio observatories, which sites are KVN Yonsei, KVN Ulsan and KVN Tamna. In each radio`observatory, more than ten Tera Bytes of data is produced during VLBI observation. But in traditional method,`this massive VLBI (very long baseline interferometer) data recorded in magnetic tape or HDD is transferred to`correlation center by transportation, which cause much loss of time and research products. To overcome this`problem, e-VLBI connecting each radio observatory and correlation center with high speed network was`appeared, and we are now design this concept in KVN by using KREONET (Korea Research Environment`Open NETwork). In this paper, we discuss the methods to transfer VLBI data from radio observatory to`correlation center efficiently. As part of an solution to improve the performance of data transfer, we especially`discuss system tuning for computer and network systems and stream based data transfer. Additionally, we`suggest upgraded data transfer system with this improvements.``
