        Reconstruction of the composite mandibular defect resulting from ablative resection of tumor involved jaw has been challenging task to the plastic surgeon. A wide variety of different techniques were used with limited success until the advent of microsurgery. The high success rate of microsurgical procedures has allowed for significant improvement in both functional and aesthetic results. A variety of free flap donor sites have been used successfully for mandibular reconstruction. Between April of 1991 and August of 1998, 20 mandibular reconstructions were performed for oncologic defects. 4 patients underwent mandibular reconstruction with pectoralis major flap, 3 patients with free nonvascularized bone graft, 1 patient with metal plate. 12 patients underwent microvascular mandibular reconstruction(8: fibula, 4: ilium). The type of free flap was determined by the requirements of the defect. Satisfactory aesthetic and functional results were achieved in all cases without significant complications. So microvascular mandibular reconstruction should be considered as primary choice in all mandibular defect without hesitation.

        증기발생기 전열관 와전류검사용 국내 개발 보빈탐촉자 적용성 분석

        Steam Generator(SG) tube is an important component of Nuclear Power Plant(NPP), which is the pressure boundary between the primary and secondary systems. The integrity of SG tube has been confirmed by the eddy current test every outage. The eddy current technique adopting bobbin probe is currently the primary technique for the steam generator tubing integrity assesment. The bobbin probe is one of the essential components which consist of the whole ECT examination system and provides us a decisive data for the evaluation of tube integrity. Until now, all of the ECT bobbin probes in Korea which is necessary to carry out inspection are imported from overseas. However, KHNP has recently developed the bobbin probe design technology and transferred it to domestic manufacturers to fabricate the probes. This study has been conducted to establish technical requirements applicable to the steam generator tube inspection using the bobbin probes fabricated by the domestic manufactures. The results have been compared with the results obtained by using foreign probe to identify the availability to the steam generator tube inspection. As a result, it is confirmed that the domestic bobbin probe is generally applicable to SG tube inspection in the NPPs.

        거문도를 중심으로 하는 세일링요트 안전항로 개발에 관한 연구 - 전남 여수 거문도와 제주특별자치도 김녕항 루트를 중심으로 -

        본 연구는 여수에서 출항하여 백도와 도서문화가 살아있는 거문도를 거쳐 제주 김녕항으로 이어지는 해양관광 크루즈 세일링 요트 항로를 제안하였다. 최근 해양레저 활성화에 비례하여 안전사고도 늘어나고 있으며, 세일링 요트의 특성을 고려한 안전항로 개척은 지역별, 해역별로 조사되어야 한다. 따라서 거문도의 사례를 통해 분석해 보면 해양문화의 소개, 국제요트대회유치, 다기능항으로 개발 등이 필요하고, 특히 해당 항로의 운항패턴과 밀집도 분석 등이 추가로 도출되어야 할 것이다. 이러한 정보는 세일링 요트의 운항 안전율을 높여 지역 관광산업에 도움이 될 것이다. This study suggests a navigation route for maritime tourism cruise sail yacht that sails off from Yeosu, and passes by Baekdo and Geomundo with their live island culture, to Kimnyeonghang of the Jeju islands. Recently, there are increasing number of accidents in proportion to vitalizing marine leisure. That's why it should be examined by region and sea when developing safe sea route considering characteristics of the sailing yacht. Thus, it is needed to introduce marine culture, hold international sailing yacht race and develop multi-functional sea port according to the case of Geomundo. Also additional analysis for navigation ruote patterns and density of the fairway is required. This information will improve safe sailing level of sailing yacht that will help the local tourism industry.

        배열형 탐촉자를 이용한 증기발생기 세관 검사 적용성 검토

        Steam Generator(SG) tube is an important component of Nuclear Power Plant(NPP), which comprises of the pressure boundary of primary system. The integrity of SG tube has been confirmed by the eddy current test every outage. In Korea, Bobbin probe and MRPC probe have been generally used for the eddy current test. Meanwhile the usage of Array probe has gradually increased in U.S., Japan and other countries. In this study, we investigated the defect detection capability of the Array probe through its preliminary application to SG tube inspection. The Array probe has the equivalent capability in the defect detection and sizing as the conventional methods. Thus it is desirable that the Array probe is generally applied to SG tube inspection in the domestic NPPs.

        소프트웨어 로봇들은 시뮬레이트된 센서와 실행기들을 가지고 가상 환경 안에서 자율적으로 동작하는 지능형 가상 에이전트로 볼 수 있다. 지능형 가상 에이전트 연구용 테스트베드들은 에이전트들의 성능 평가를 위해 표준화된 작업들을 구현할 수 있고, 환경이나 실험 에이전트들을 제어할 수 있는 도구들이다. 본 논문에서는 RoboCup 축구 시뮬레이션시스템, Gamebots 시스템, USARSim 시스템 등과 같은 지능형 가상 에이전트와 멀티 에이전트시스템 연구를 위한 대표적인 테스트베드들을 간략히 소개한다.

        Steam generator is one of the most important component of nuclear power plant, and it's integrity and reliability are to be assured to high level by pre-service inspection and in-service inspection. To improve the reliability of steam generator heat exchanger tubes and to secure the management of nuclear power plant safely, KHNP CRI recently has developed eddy current testing system for steam generator. KHNP CRI have performed a series of experimental verification and field application to confirm the performance of the developed ECT system in accordance with ASME Code requirements. The ECT system consists of a remote data acquisition unit, an ECT signal acquisition and analysis software, a water chamber robot controller and a probe push-puller. In this paper, we will details of the developed ECT system and the software and their experimental performance. And also we will report the field applying performance and the issues for further steps.

        전복(Haliotis discus hannai) 추출물의 혈압강하, 항산화능 및 항혈전능에 대한 in vitro 효과

        본 연구에서는 전복육질과 내장의 추출방법에 따른 추출물의 혈압강하, 항산화, 항혈전 효과에 대한 in vitro 효과를 구명하고자 하였다. 전복육질(abalone body)과 내장(visceral portion)의 80% ethanol 추출물은 ACE(angiotensin converting enzyme)활성에 대해 높은 억제효과를 나타내었으며, 전복육질 추출물의 경우 농도의 증가에 따라 증가되는 경향을 나타내었다. 그러나 내장추출물은 농도증가에 따라 큰 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 수용성추출물의 ACE활성 억제효과는 농도별에 따라 증가되는 경향을 나타내었으며, 육질과 내장 간에 큰 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 아질산염 소거활성으로 평가한 항산화 효과는 80% ethanol 추출물의 경우, 전복육질에서 농도증가에 따라 증가된 수준을 나타내었으나 그 수치는 낮은 값을 나타내었다. 내장의 경우, 낮은 농도에서는 육질과 비슷한 수준을 유지하였으나 농도가 증가함에 따라 높은 항산화활성을 나타내었다. 수용성추출물의 항산화효과는 농도증가에 따라 증가된 수준을 나타내었으나 육질과 내장에 큰 차이는 보이지 않았다. 항혈전 효과는 80% ethanol 추출물에서 육질의 prothrombin time이상대적으로 내장의 prothrombin time보다 높게 나타났다. 수용성추출물의 경우, 항혈전 효과가 거의 없었으며, 전복의육질이나 내장에 따른 특별한 차이점 또한 없는 것으로 나타났다. 수용성추출물을 48시간 냉장온도에서 저장한 후의 전복육질과 내장의 ACE 활성에 대한 억제효과는 육질과 내장간에 큰 차이가 있었으나 0 time의 값과 큰 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 항산화 효과는 육질과 내장의 경우 농도증가에 따라 직선적인 증가경향을 나타내었으나, 육질에 비해 내장에서 높은 항산화능이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 전복육질과 내장의 prothrombin time은 큰 차이가 없었으며, activated partial thromboplastin time 또한 큰 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to examine the in vitro effects of body and visceral portion of Haliotis discus hannai on angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) activity and antioxidant and anticoagulant capacity. Extracts from both abalone body and visceral portion using 80% ethanol showed a high ACE?inhibitory effect. While ACE-inhibitory effect of extracts of the body part was dose?dependent, visceral extracts did not show any difference by the level of concentration. ACE?inhibitory effect of the visceral portion was much higher than that of the body. Antioxidant capacity was increased with increasing concentration of 80% ethanol body extracts although the capacity was low. The 80% ethanol visceral extracts showed a similar level of antioxidant capacity to the body extract in low concentration. Water extracts showed a dose-dependent increase in the activity. There was no significant difference in the antioxidant activity between the body and the visceral part. Anticoagulant capacity of 80% ethanol extracts, which was measured using prothrombin time (PT), was higher in the body part than the visceral part. Water extracts of Haliotis discus showed no any significant effect on anticoagulant capacity. The in vitro effects were also examined after Haliotis discus was refrigerated for 48 hours. Higher ACE-inhibitory effect was observed for the visceral portion than the body, in particular, before the sample was refrigerated. Antioxidant effect of Haliotis discus increased with increasing level of the sample before it was refrigerated. However, there was a significant difference between the body and the visceral part, which showed significantly higher capacity. There was no significant difference between the body and visceral part in PT regardless of refrigeration. While activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) showed no significant difference between body and visceral part, there was a significant difference in the capacity between before and after the refrigeration, which showed much lower coagulant capacity.

        저작권법상 판매용 음반의 의미에 관한 소고

        저작권법에서 음반 및 판매용 음반의 정의는 저작권뿐만 아니라 저작인접권에서 매우중요한 개념이지만, 음반은 저작권법 정의 규정의 내용과 다르게 상당히 이용되고 있고, 판매용 음반의 정의는 존재하지 않기 때문에 일반인들뿐만 아니라 저작권 전문가 사이에서도 상당히 논란이 있고, 이러한 논란이 스타벅스 사건과 현대백화점 사건에서 소송으로 나타났고, 최소한 지금까지는 다르게 해석하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 판매용 음반에 대하여 대법원은 시판용 음반으로 해석하여 유형물로 해석하였고, 현대백화점 사건에서 고등법원은 판매용 음반을 시판용 음반으로 제한하여 해석할 이유가 없어 디지털음성을 이용한 공연도 판매용 음반을 사용한 공연으로 해석하여 보상청구권을 인정하였다. 이처럼 법원에서도 혼란스러워하는 개념을 국제조약, 오늘날의 이용형태, 입법연혁, 조문상의 구조, 해외의 입법례 등의 관점에서 스타벅스 사건에서 판매용 음반을 어떻게 해석했어야 했는지에 대하여 의견을 정리하고, 또한 대여권에 관련된 판매용 음반은 제29조 제2항의 판매용 음반과는 어떻게 다르게 해석되어야 하는지 설명하며, 저작권법에 있는 음반의 개념 및 규정들을 어떻게 수정하는 것이 좋은지 의견을 제시하고자 한다. Even though the term “phonogram published for commercial purpose (판매용 음반)” is very important in the scope of the copyright and the related right, there is no definition of the term in the Korean Copyright Act. Therefore, many people misunderstand its meaning and sometimes experts do too. Especially, Korean Supreme Court held that Starbucks which made phonorecords to perform in each Starbucks franchise for commercial purpose could not enjoy copyright limitation delineated in the section 29(1) of Korean Copyright Act because the phonorecords have never been sold to the public. However, Korean Seoul Appellate Court held that the performers and producers of phonograms have a right to receive reasonable remuneration from the Hyundai Department Store because it used phonograms in its store. Even though both courts reviewed the same term in the Korean Copyright Act, they differently interpreted the term. This paper reviewed whether court decisions might be reconciled or whether one decision should be changed in view of current Korean Copyright Act, legislative history of Copyright Act, comparison of foreign copyright act, International Treaties such as Rome Convention, WPPT. As a result of the review, the author thinks that because the Supreme Court decision did not consider the legislative history, International Treaties, etc. for the purpose of the section, its decision leads to wrong way for the interpretation and for avoiding the misunderstanding again, Korean Congress should change the term.

        간장 ( 肝臟 ) 및 담도 ( 膽道 ) : 팽대부 주위암 환자에서 침습적인 진단방법에 대한 합병증

        N/A There are several ways of clinical application in diagnosis of periampullary cancer, namely invasive and non-invasive technique. Each method has its own advantage in accuracy but also caused seldomly unexpected life-threatening complications. Authors recently experienced serious complications which made surgeon change operative procedures from resection of tumor ta palliative bypass surgery by the development of complication after invaslve diagnostic technique such as ERCP and PTC respectively. Authors analyzed diagnostic procedures and its complications in 114 cases of operative patients for periampullary cancer experienced at the Surgical Department of Catholic University Medical College, Seoul, Korea. Age and sex distribution were showed that the peak incidence was on decade of 60 and 50 of age in both male and female patients. Pancreas cancer was most cornmon lesion as 68% of all cases. Invasive techniques of diagnostic procedmes both ERCP and PTC were more informative than non-invasive procedures but combined methods of sonography and computed tomography were also valuable and provided high aceuracy (85.2%) in diagnosis of periampullary cancer in our experience. Main complications after invasive techniques of diagnostic procedures were fever, bleeding, bile leakage and elevated enzyme. Especially in 4 out of 65 cases, the definite procedures were changed to palliative operation such as bypass or external decompression of bile flow due to serious inflammatory changes around the upper abdominal organs developed by invasive techniques. The predictive risk factors for development of complications of the invasive diagnastic procedures were prediagnostic statue of high body temperature, anemia, leukocytosis, impairment of coagulobilities, hypaalbumfnemia and jaundice. Hyperglycemia was not signifiantly caused to increase development of complicttons. Authore would like to recommand that if patient showed highly suggestive finding of resectable or localized malignancy by non-invasive diagnostic procedures such as ultrasonography, computed tomography ar combined procedure, additional invasive techniques such as ERCP or PTC should be abandaned end go ahead operation in predicted high risk patients of complications.
