The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction for the development of intelligent agricultural machinery technology in the Republic of Korea. For this purpose, intelligent technology of agricultural machinery was divided into autonomous agricultural machinery and tractor-implement intelligent communication technology. Then, a survey and analysis of a previous study of the Republic of Korea and foreign countries were conducted. GNSS-based autonomous driving technology is still widely used worldwide, and recently, as research on camera and LiDAR-based autonomous driving is actively progressing, autonomous driving technology is becoming more advanced. ISOBUS-based technology is being developed worldwide for intelligent control of tractor-attached implements, and major global agricultural machinery manufacturers are actively applying it to their products. However, although some ISOBUS technologies are being researched in the Republic of Korea, there are no cases of application on agricultural machinery yet. Therefore, to be globally competitive in the agricultural machinery manufacturing industry, there is an urgent need to advance autonomous driving technology and commercialize agricultural machinery using ISOBUS technology.
Effects of Organic Acids and Starch Water Ratios on the Properties of Retrograded Maize Starches

The effects of organic acid types and concentrations as well as starch water ratios on resistant starch (RS) levels and the properties of retrograded maize starches were studied. The pH of the starch slurry decreased with increasing water ratio and organic acid concentration, but the addition of succinic acid slightly reduced pH compared to the other organic acids. The RS level of RS3 was increased 160-169% for the high starch ratio and was increased 137-146% for the low starch ratio with organic acid addition (p<0.01). The color difference between the RS3 powder added with citric acid and native starch showed the lowest value. All samples had B type crystallinity. Their swelling power and solubility increased,but the water binding capacity decreased with organic acid addition. The added organic acids rapidly decreased the pasting viscosity of RS3, but patterns were different by organic acid type (succinic acid) and starch water ratio.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the PTO severeness for an agricultural tractor during disk plow and rotary tillage. The PTO load measurement system was constructed with data acquisition and a PTO torquemeter. Field experiments were conducted at a combination of traveling speed (L3 Low, L3 High) and PTO speed (P1, P2). The load spectrum was generated using the rain-flow counting method, and the SWT method was used to consider the range and mean of the PTO load. The damage sum was calculated by applying a modified miner rule, which is a cumulative damage law. The relative severeness was expressed as the ratio of the lowest damage sum. Relative severeness was higher with the lower PTO gear stage, and higher driving gear stage and it was approximately 40-102 times higher for rotary tillage than disk plow tillage in the same gear stages. The relative severeness was 1010.12 in the rotary tillage under L3 High P1 based on the disk plow tillage under L3 Low P2.

The role of vascular and interventional radiology in trauma patients is evolving. In diagnosis, it is increasingly supplanted by less invasive and often more definitive modalities such as computed tomography. At the same time, its use in treatment is constantly expanding. Endovascular interventions are helpful in treating vascular injuries in trauma patients. In some situations, endovascular treatments are as effective as or more effective than surgery, but less invasive. We employed endovascular techniques successfully in two trauma patients with associated injuries and vascular injuries which were difficult to access. The clinical courses of these two patients were uneventful, and they were discharged without complications.

In this study, we tried to estimate the future operational reserves required for steady state in year 2030 using the probabilistic approach. To get the probability distribution of the reserve capacity requirement, we used the nonparametric estimation method, kernel density estimation. As the result, the frequency control reserve capacity is required to be about 800MW based on 2030, and the reserve level that needs to be secured due to the difference between 1 hour dispatch plan and 5 minutes actual load in the intraday market in 2030 is estimated about 1,400MW. In addition, the reserves that needs to be considered when unit commitment planning on the day ahead should include the PV generation forecast error distribution and the distribution of demand forecast errors also. We were estimated them by using the convolution, and we could get the result the operational reserves about 5,000∼ 7,500MW when establishing the day ahead unit commitment plan by 2030.
