The caudal subnucleus of the spinal trigeminal nucleus (medullary dorsal horn; MDH) is implicated in the processing of nociceptive information in the orofacial region. In the present study, whole cell patch clamp recordings were carried out on MDH neurons in brainstem slice of neonatal rats to investigate the characteristics of spontaneous excitatory postsynaptic currents (sEPSCs) and the roles of nociceptin/orphanin FQ on excitatory synaptic transmission. In the presence of strychnine (1 μM) and bicuculline (20 μM), spontaneous inward currents at -70 mV were observed. The baseline frequency, amplitude and decay time constant of sEPSCs were 2.0 ± 0.5 Hz, 23.0 ± 1.8 pA, 3.8 ± 0.2 ms, respectively. sEPSCs were mediated by non-NMDA and NMDA receptors. The specific AMPA receptor antagonist GYKI-52466 (50 μM) completely blocked the non- NMDA mediated sEPSCs, indicating that they are mediated by an AMPA-preferring receptor. Perfusion of the opioid orphan receptor (ORL_1) adonist nociceptin (3 μM) reduced the frequency of sEPSCs and miniature EPSCs (mEPSCs). The effects of nociceptin were blocked by the selective ORL_1 receptor antagonist [Nphe'] nociceptin(1-13)NH_2 (3 μM) and were not affected by the non-specific opioid receptor antagonist naloxone (10 μM). To investigate the specificity of this synaptic inhibition, we selectively activated the nociceptive C fibers with capsaicin, which induced a strong increase in the frequency of sEPSCs. In the presence of nociceptin, the response to capsaicin was diminished. In conclusion, these results suggest that nociceptin inhibits excitatory synaptic transmission in the MDH by acting on presynaptic ORL_1 receptors.
동적 보상기를 갖는 가벼운 유연성 매니퓰레이터의 적응 제어

본 논문에서는 링크가 가볍고 유연한 로보트 매니퓰레이터에 대해 손의 끝점을 측정하여 기준 궤적을 추종하기 위한 자기 동조 제어기를 제안하고 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 알고리듬의 성능을 입증하였다. 제어 대상으로 2개의 링크를 갖는 유연성 로보트 매니퓰레이터를 설정하고, 모델의 구성은 중력 작용이 포함된 가정 모드 형태 방법을 사용하여, 각 링크의 전동 모드를 2가지로 채택하여 동력학 방정식을 유도하였으며, 제어기는 공칭 토크를 가하는 동적 전향 보상기와 교정 토크를 가하는 자기 동조 궤환 제어기를 결합시킨 합성 제어기로 구성하였다. This paper has proposed a self-tuning controller for tracking reference trajectory by measuring End-point of arm on robot manipulator whose link is light and flexibls, and proved the perforformance of the algorithm proposed through the computer simulation. As an object of control, a flexible robot manipulator with two-links was selected. As for structure of model, it utilized an assume mode shape method with include travity force and derived a dynaics equation by adapting two kinds of vibration mode of each.
Sodium nitroprusside 에 의한 유도저혈압시 혈장 catecholamine 치의 변화

Sodium nitroprusside is used to induce hypotension to decrease bleeding in operation site. Sodium nitroprusside decrease vascular resistance by directly relax arteriolar and venous smooth muscle, to a lesser extent. Hypotension stimulate baroreceptors and increase sympatho-adrenal activity. The function of sympatho-adrenal mdullary system may be monitored by the changes of plasma cancentrations of epinephrine and norepinephrine. To study the relationship between induced hypotension and the catecholamine release, the plasma epinephrine and norepinephrine concentration were measured before, during and after infusion of aodium nitropruaside to rabbits. The results were as follows: 1) The mean arterial blood pressure decreased significantly after SNP infusion (5.0 ug/kg/minute) from the control value of 98.1±11.9 mmHg to 66.3±16.2, 57.9±17.9 mmHg in 10 and 20 minutes after SNP infusion (P$lt;0.01) and 78.8±12.5 mmHg after discontinuation of SNP infusion. 2) The heart rate increased significantly after SNP infusioom the control value of 149.8±12.8 beat/minute to 166.5±10.8, 190.4±17.6 beats/minute in 10 and 20 minutes after SNP infusion (P$lt;0.05, P$lt;0.01) and the heart rate increased after discontinuation of SNP infusion. 3) The plasma epinephrine concentration increased significantly after SNP infusion from the control value of 181.2±91.9 pg/ml to 547.5±163.2, 837.5±253.6 pg/ml in 10 and 20 minutes after SNP infusion and continued to increase of epinephrine after discontinuation of SNP infusion. 4) The plasma norepinephrine concentration increased significantly after SNP infusion from the control value of 566.2±92.6 pg/ml to 1131.3±424.7, 1432.5±479.2 pg/ml 10 and 20 minutes after SNP infusion and continued to increase after discontinuation of SNP infusion. There was a highly significant correlation between decrease in mean arterial pressure and increase in plasma epinephrine and norepinephrine concentrations.

It is important to predict the collision behavior of a train consist to improve its crashworthiness. To analyze crash behavior of train, four kinds of methods are mainly used so far. The first is method using multi body dynamics to predict the gross motion of the train set. The second uses 3D FE model to apply the section analysis method in order. The third is used to deduce design specification and evaluate the crashworhiness of a train by using 1 D model. The last is to constitute 2D model to check overriding and coupling devices. The train evaluation procedures are so complex that it is difficult to understand or deal with. In this study, VTM for railway train was introduced to simplify the procedures. VTM involves 3D models, 1D models and dynamic components such as suspension and coupling. The method using hybrid concept model makes it possible to do all the things that are mentioned above. To analyze crash behavior tendency of VTM, the model was simulated and the simulation results were discussed.
