Many studies have reported that housework done using household appliances may affect biomechanical characteristics of the musculoskeletal system. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of housework done using a pulsator washing machine on joints and muscles. We calculated joint torques and muscle strengths on the basis of an experimental/virtual three-dimensional motion analysis for six healthy females using the pulsator washing machine at different heights (H) and depths (D) of the inside drum (H (mm){\times}D (mm), Trial1: $962.5{\times}609.4$, Trial2: $962.5{\times}624.4$, Trial3: $982.5{\times}644.4$, Trial4: $995.5{\times}642.4$, Trial5: $1015.5{\times}677.4$). The joint torques and muscle strengths tended to be considerably different during torso flexion in the sagittal plane for all the trials. The maximum joint torques for the thoracic vertebra, left ankle, and right shoulder measured in Trial4 were significantly higher than those measured in the other trials (p < 0.05); in addition, those for the thoracic vertebra and both ankles measured in Trial5 were significantly higher than those measured in the other trials (p < 0.05). The maximum muscle strengths for the left trapezius muscle and both tibialis anterior muscles measured in Trial5 were significantly higher than those measured in the other trials (p < 0.05). These results indicate that housework done using a pulsator washing machine may affect joint torques and muscle strengths, and these effects are dependent on the height and/or depth of the inside drum of the pulsator washing machine.

변혁기에 처해 있는 대학들에게 있어 치밀하고 체계적인 대학발전계획 수립은 생존을 가늠할 정도의 중요한 요소로 부각되었다. 이를 실현시키기 위해서는 무엇보다도 대학 비전에 대한 구성원의 공감대가 형성되어야한다. 대학의 특성에 맞는 개개의 차별성을 확보하여야 하며, 조직 내의 다양한 가치관을 수용할 수 있는 방향으로 전략이 수립되어야 한다. 구성원 간 괴리가 있으면 대학발전계획 시행이 성공하기 어렵다는 점을 염두에두고, 변화에 대한 구성원의 저항 극복방안을 모색해야 할 것이며 현실 속에서 대학발전계획을 쉽게 수용할 수 있도록 노력해야 한다.
직류전동기의 속도제어에 대한 적응제어이론의 적용에 관한 연구

최근에 활발히 연구되고 있는 model reference adaptive control 이론을 microprocessor를 사용하여 직류전동기의 속도제어에 적용할 수 있음을 보였다. 본 논문에서는 일차로 근사시킨 reference model을 설정하고 model의 output과 motor의 output의 처리가 영에 수렴하도록 하였다. 먼저 computer simulation에 의해 reference 입력과 부하의 변동에 따른 출력을 살펴본 후 microprocessor M 6800을 이용하여 직류전동기를 제어하였는데 input 및 부하의 급격한 변동에 잘 적용하는 특성을 보여 주었다. In this paper, the application of model reference adaptive control theory to the D.C motor speed control using the microprocessor is studied. It is shown that with the use of an adaptive control algorithm the error between output of the motor and the reference model, which is approximated to first order, can be conve to zero. By computer simulation and the practical implementation with the microprocessor M 6800, can be concluded that the adaptive control system adapts well to the rapid change of the load and reference inputs.
육계에서 분리한 Salmonella gallinarum의 약제내성 및 PFGE 양상

Fowl typhoid(FT) is a septicemic disease caused by Salmonella gallinarum. The purpose of this study was to investigate the antimicrobial resistance and pulsed-field gel electrophoresis(PFGE) patterns of S gallinarum isolated from broiler. During 1999 to 2004, there was isolated a total of 26 strains in liver and spleen. The biochemical characteristics of S gallinarum isolates was nonmotile, no production of H2S, glucose gas, non-fermented rhamnose, indole-negative, fermentation of dulcitol, mannitol, maltose, and ornithine decarboxylase. At antimicrobial susceptibility, all of isolates were susceptible to amoxicillin/clavulanic acid, amikacin, neomycin, kanamycin, and cephalothin. Twenty-six isolates were divided into 19 resistant patterns and 6 strains was 8-multi-drug resistance. PFGE of XbaⅠrestriction fragments of S gallinarum isolates was 22 patterns.

Canine brucellosis is a contagious disease of the reproductive tract that cause mainly abortion and infertility in dog. A serological and bacteriological survey was conducted for breeding kennels which were suffered from frequent outbreak of canine brucellosis in Gyeongbuk province in 2009. Among 138 samples, 45 serum samples were sero-positive. Brucella canis was isolated from 30 blood samples of the seropositive cases, and from 2 samples of 62 sero-negatives. The biochemical properties of 32 isolates were characterized with no production of H2S, no fermentation of carbohydrates, hydrolyzation of urea, and development of thionin dye medium. At amplification of BCSP and 16S-rRNA gene using PCR, 711bp and 905bp DNA fragments were detected in agarose. Three tandem repeat pattern was shown in genotyping by Multi-locus VNTR assay (MLVA).

Bovine brucellosis is a zoonosis, long incubation period and chronic infectious disease, usually caused by Brucella abortus. This study was carried out to investigate the biotyping and biochemical characterization of B. abortus isolated from 208 farm 871 korean cattle and holstein diagnosed brucellosis by serological positive in Gyeongbuk province during the period from 2002 to 2006. B. abortus was isolated from 124(14.2%) of 871 cattle, and isolated 110 (13.4%) of 820 Korean cattle and 14 (27.5%) of 51 holstein in breed. The uterus of korean cattle was isolated in 8 (17.8%) of 45 cattle and supramammary lymph none of holstein was isolated 11 (68.8%) of 16 cattle. 101 (12.5%) of 810 serological positive blood samples were isolated B. abortus. The isolation rate of B. abortus was correlated with antibody titers. The biochemical characterization of isolates was non-hemolytic, production of H2S, oxidase-positive, catalase-positive, hydrolyzation of urea and growth of basic fuchsin dye medium. As a result, all of isolates was identified B. abortus bv 1. 124 isolates were susceptible to ampicillin, lincospectin, amikacin, gentamicin, kanamycin, neomycin, streptomycin, tetracycline, ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin and enrofloxacin.
