The hepatocellular adenoma is a rare benign tumor, occupying on non-cirrhotic liver, especially in man. we experienced a case of hepatocellular adenoma from a 34 year-old, HBs Ag positive, man. The hepatocellular adenoma with severe dysplasia was confirmed by histologic examination after operation.

Background and Aims:Relatively few studies have explored the quality of life(QOL) in mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer’s disease(AD). This study aimed to compare the QOL in MCI with that in AD. Methods:24 normal controls, 29 mild MCI patients, 20 AD patients, and their caregivers participated. QOL was assessed using the Korean version of QOL-AD(KQOL-AD). Korean version-Mini Mental State Examination(K-MMSE), Activities of Daily Living(ADL), Clinical Dementia Rating(CDR), and Neuropsychiatric Inventory(NPI) were also used to assess the participants. Results:Both patient and caregiver-reported QOL scores of AD group were lower than those of MCI and control groups. However, there were no significant differences among the three groups in QOL(p=0.069, p=0.058). Patientreported QOL scores of all participants showed were significant negative correlations with ADL scores and NPI scores, but not with K-MMSE scores(r=-0.316, p=0.009 ; r=-0.349, p=0.010 ; and r=0.094, p=0.430). Caregiverreported QOL scores of all participants showed significant negative correlations with ADL scores and NPI scores, but not with K-MMSE scores(r=-0.369, p=0.015 ; r=-0.413, p=0.007 ; and r=0.147, p=0.341). Conclusion:Both patient-reported and caregiver-reported QOL scores of AD patients were not significantly different from those of MCI patients and normal controls. NPI and ADL scores were negatively associated with QOL, while K-MMSE scores were not. Thus, therapeutic strategies for behavioral and psychological symptoms of MCI and AD will be need to improve patient QOL.

Recently, a high speed rail consists of many train coaches and power cars. For keeping the reliable train communication system with train coaches and power cars, train uses the OSI model(Open Systems Interconnection Basic Reference Model) and KTX(Korea Train eXpress) only uses the Physical to Transport layer of OSI model. This paper describes the analysis of CLNP(Connectionless Network Protocol) and ES-IS(End System to Intermediate System) protocols used in KTX for the network layer. CLNP is used to end data to other system and ES-IS protocol is used to route and send information between end systems and intermediate systems. Also this paper presents the protocol parsing program and implementation of Network layer.

In this paper a protocol design for bus network communication between onboard signalling system and MMI(Man Machine Interface) will be presented and illustrated. Recently many onboard signailling systems adopt hot standby for safety reasons. Hot standby is a method of redundancy in which the primary and secondary systems run simultaneously. It is convenient to use bus network(bus topology) in a hot standby system for communication between onboard signalling system and MMI. Because bus network is the simplest way to connect multiple clients such as onboard signalling system MMI and etc. However there are many problems when two clients want to transmit at the same time on the same bus. A effective protocol is necessary to solve that problems. We will describes protocol design which is useful when onboard signalling systems and MMIs are connected via RS485(Bus Network).

통합 차상신호장치(IOSS, Integrated Onboard Signaling System)는 국내에서 사용되고 있는 세가지 신호시스템(ERTMS/ETCS Level1 ATP, ATS, ATC)를 모두 처리할 수 있는 신호시스템으로써 현재 차세대 고속철도(HEMU-430X, Highspeed Electric Multiple Unit -400km/h eXperiment)에 탑재되어 시운전 중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 시운전 진행 중에 발생할 수 있는 문제점들을 효율적으로 대처하고 실제 물리적 차량이 없는 상황에서도 현장과 동일과 환경에서 시험을 진행하기 위한 차량 에뮬레이터 개발을 제안하고 있다. 통합차상신호장치와 HEMU-430의 인터페이스를 동일한 환경으로 구성하기 위하여 차량 에뮬레이터는 28개의 디지털 출력과 18개의 디지털 입력을 통해 통합 차상신호장치와 연결되어 있다. 또한 열차의 속도 값 연산을 위한 tachometer 출력 펄스를 생성하여 통합 차상신호장치에 입력을 줄 수 있다. In this paper, a train emulator for simulation of Integrated Onboard Signaling System(IOSS) will be presented illustrated. IOSS is a signaling system and can handle ATC(Automatic Train Control), ATS(Automatic Train Stop) and ERTMS/ETCS Level1 ATP(Automatic Train Protection). Test run for IOSS has started with HEMU-430X(. Highspeed Electric Multiple Unit-430km/h eXperiment) It’s so difficult to test all functions and find out causes of software bug with running train. Also, it needs to make the same situation and circumstance for modification program. The train emulator is helpful to solve these problems of Integrated Onboard Signaling System without a real train.

In this paper a simulator for Integrated Onboard Signalling System(IOSS) will be presented and illustrated. IOSS which is integrated with there signalling systems such as ERTMS/ETCS Level 1 ATP(Automatic Train Protection), ATC(Automatic Train Control) and ATS(Automatic Train Stop) is a signalling system for HEMU-400X(Highspeed Electric Multiple Unit - 400㎞/h eXperiment). HEMU-400X is under development as the next generation high-speed train in Korea. Before conducting a trial run of HEMU-400X with IOSS, we must carry out functional test of IOSS. The simulator is suggested in this paper for testing and verification of IOSS. The simulator can help to test all function of IOSS although a real train and trackside equipments are not existed. Also the simulator can make a fault in trackside equipment intentionally. In that scenario, we can figure out how IOSS handle emergency situations.

일반적으로, 자동열차제어(Automatic Train Control:ATC) 불연속정보란, 열차운행에 필요한 터널, 절연구간, 가선변경구간 등 간헐적으로 필요 시마다 차량의 차상신호장치에 정보를 전달하기 위하여 사용되는 정보이다. ATC 불연속정보는 좌우측 루프에서 연속적으로 송신되고, ATC 차상장치는 그 루프 위를 지나가면서 메시지를 수신하게 되는데, 이때 열차의 속도에 따라서 수신되는 메시지의 양이 달라진다. 즉, 고속으로 지나갈 때는 그만큼 수신되는 양이 적어지게 되므로, 수신된 메시지를 정확히 분석하여 불연속정보를 획득하여야 할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 고속운행 중 ATC 불연속정보를 전송하는 루프로부터 수신되는 신호를 효율적으로 분석하는 처리방법을 설명할 것이다. ATC Intermittent Message is used to send local ground information such as tunnel, cut-current track, Hot-box detector and so on to Train. ATC Intermittent Message has two ground loops, left and right loops. When train is running on the ATC intermittent loops, onboard signaling system can receive intermittent information from two left and right antennas. The number of intermittent information is based on how long antennas can stay on ATC intermittent loops. This means that train speed can decide the number of intermittent information for onboard signaling system. The onboard signaling system should be careful to use ATC intermittent information if train is running fast. Because train is running fast means that onboard signaling system can receive little ATC intermittent information than train is running slow. In this paper, the improved method for processing ATC intermittent information in high-speed railway will be presented and illustrated.

Mercury is a commonly found substance in the environment. Nowadays the incidence of mercurey poisining is increasing, especially in developed cauntries. In contrast to extensive literature addressing long- term exposure, to our knowledge there are relatively few reports regarding acute toxicity with mercury. Rare cases have been reported of very high exposure to metallic mercury vapor. We report a case of acute mercury poisoning after exposure to metallic mercury vapor, which occured in a home by spontaneous inhalation of mercury vapor. Severe life-threatening respiratory symptoms developed due to acute chemical pneumonitis, Therefore, prompt treatment with oxygen, penicillamine, corticosteroid and antibiotics was instituted, but the patient died of acute respiratory failure and acute renal failure.
TCN(IEC-61375-1)의 MVB 기반 슬레이브 컨트롤러 구현 및 시뮬레이션

열차 통신의 목적은 분산 제어 시스템에서 빠르고 정확한 데이터 교환에 있다. 이를 위하여 개발되고 1999년 IEC와 IEEE에 의해 국제 규격으로 승인된 TCN(Train Communication Network)은 차량간 통신 버스인 WTB(Wired Train Bus)와 차량내 통신 버스인 MVB(Multifunction Vehicle Bus)의 이중 계층 구조로 구성되며 TCN의 데이터 서비스는 프로세스 데이터, 메시지 데이터, 관리용 데이터의 세가지 데이터 서비스로 구분된다. MVB는 전송 가능한 데이터 서비스에 따라 디바이스의 클래스가 나눠지게 된다. 본 논문에서는 MVB에서 버스 마스터의 프레임에 따라 데이터를 보낼 수 있는 슬레이브 컨트롤러의 구성과 시뮬레이션을 통해 구현된 장치의 기능이 국제 표준의 제안사항들을 따르고 있는지 증명한다.
