Curcuminoids의 pH별 저장조건에 따른 감소양상 분석

Curcuminoids from the rhizome of Curcuma longa L. are orange-yellow pigments that have been shown to have various biological activities. In the present study, changes in chemical stabilities and degradation patterns of curcuminoids, including curcumin, demethoxycurcumin (DMC), and bisdemethoxycurcumin (BMC), in different pH conditions were investigated using a reverse phase HPLC system. Among the 3 curcuminoids, stability of curcumin in weak alkaline (pH 7.4-8.0) conditions was most considerably reduced by 55-85% within 1 hr incubation. The absolute values of slope from a regression equation between residual levels of curcumin, DMC, or BMC and incubation time were 1.31, 1.08, or 0.25, respectively, during 12.5 min incubation at pH 7.4, indicating that degradation of curcumin was much faster than those of DMC and BMC. Degradation rate of curcuminoids was much higher especially at initial periods (within 12.5 min) during 24 hr incubation. Stability of curcumin was also most sensitive according to increase of incubation pH, as compared to DMC or BMC. These results suggest that stability and different degradation patterns of curcuminoids need to be carefully considered for evaluation of their bioactivity and application to food systems.

최근 웨어러블 컴퓨터에 대한 연구가 증가하고 있다. 의복에 산재되는 웨어러블 컴퓨터 장치들을 연결하기 위해서는 BAN(Body Area Network)이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 유선 방식의 BAN, 즉 전자의류통신망에서 실행될 링크 제어 프로토콜을 제안한다. 비동기식 방식의 프로토콜을 설계,구현하였으며 이 프로토콜의 성능을 동기식 방식 링크제어 프로토콜과 비교 분석하였다. 두 방식 중 비동기식 프로토콜이 전반적으로 성능이 우수한 것으로 조사되었다. 두 방식은 각기 특성이 다르므로 BAN 상황에 따라 적절한 프로토콜이 이용되어야 한다. There are many researches going on about a wearable computer. A body area network is required in order to connect peripheral devices and a computer processor which are scattered on a wearable cloths. In this paper, we design and implement an asynchronous link control protocol of a body area network. We show the performance of the asynchronous protocol compared with a synchronous link control protocol. Asynchronous protocol shows better performance in general. Since each protocol has different characteristics, an appropriate protocol must be used depending on a wearable network environment.
NLP 프로그램이 외상 경험 아동의 스트레스 인식 및 외상 후 성장에 미치는 효과

본 연구의 목적은 NLP 프로그램이 외상 경험 아동의 스트레스 인식 및 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울특별시 H초등학교 고학년을 대상으로 외상 경험 검사를 실시하였다. 그 중 외상을 경험하고 이로 인한 현재의 고통이 보통 이상이라고 응답한 63명에게 사전검사를 실시한 후 20명을 실험집단으로 설정하고, 실험집단과 동질성을 보인 20명을 통제집단으로 설정하였다. 실험집단에는 3주간 총 12회기에 걸쳐 외상 경험 아동의 스트레스와 외상 후 성장을 위한 NLP 프로그램을 실시하였다. 효과검증을 위해 사후검사 점수를 다변량분산분석(MANOVA)하였으며, 분석결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실험집단의 스트레스는 통제집단의 스트레스와 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 구체적으로는 스트레스의 하위요인인 가정 관련(p<.05), 학업 관련(p<.05), 대인 관계(p<.05), 개인 문제(p<.05)에서 실험집단이 통제집단에 비해 유의미하게 낮았다. 둘째, 실험집단의 외상 후 성장은 통제집단의 외상 후 성장과 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 이를 구체적으로 살펴보면, 외상 후 성장의 하위요인인 대인관계의 깊이 증가(p<.05), 새로운 가능성의 발견(p<.05), 자기 지각의 변화(p<.05), 영적 관심의 증가(p<.01)는 실험집단이 통제집단에 비해 모두 유의미하게 높았다. 이러한 연구결과는 NLP 프로그램이 외상 경험 아동의 스트레스 인식 감소 및 외상 후 성장에 효과적임을 시사한다. The purpose of this research is to verify if Neuro Linguistic Programming(NLP) program is effective in reducing stress recognition and improving the post-traumatic growth of traumatized children. To achieve this purpose, traumatic event test was administrated in fourth, fifth, and sixth graders of a elementary school to sort subjects who have had traumatic experiences. Among those who have had such experiences, 63 students answered that they are still suffering from after effects. In the group of 63 traumatized students, 20 children were randomly assigned to each of an experimental group and a control group, and then the stress recognition test and post-traumatic growth test were administered in two groups prior to experiment. The experimental group participated in twelve sessions of NLP program for three weeks, while the control group did not. After the experiment, the same post-tests as pre-tests were administered in two groups and the test results were analyzed by MANOVA and Repeated MANOVA(SPSS 22.0). The analysis results are as follows. First, stress recognition scores showed a significant difference between the experimental group and control group, and the experimental group's sub-factors(Family-, academic-, interpersonal relation- and personal problem stress) were significantly low in comparison with the control group. Second, post-traumatic growth scores showed a significant difference between the experimental group and control group, and the experimental group's sub-factors(personal strength, relating to others, new possibilities, spiritual change)were significantly high in comparison with the control group. This research implies that this NLP program is applicable for reducing stress recognition and improving post-traumatic growth of traumatized children in elementary school.

In the present study, changes in chemical stabilities were investigated after incubation of commonlyconsumed over-the-counter (OTC) drugs with (-)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), a major green tea polyphenol. Stability of EGCG was significantly increased in the presence of millimolar levels of acetylsalicylic acid (Asp); EGCG stability was not affected by ibuprofen and acetaminophen (AAP). Stability of AAP was not altered in the presence of EGCG during 24 hr-incubation at pH 2.0,7.4, and 8.0. Asp stability and formation of salicylic acid were not affected by EGCG at pH 2.0 either. The present study may provide basic information for chemical interactions between dietary polyphenols and OTC drugs.
