A study developing the dry powder fire extinguishing system inside the simulated machinery spaces of small ship was performed. Fire tests were conducted inside the compartments having volume 8m3, 4.5m3 and 2.9m3 respectively. The openings and fans were established on the walls of the compartments. Diesel oil was used for the test fuel. In addition fire extinguishing nozzles using dry powder were installed downward at ceiling and horizontally at the wall or conner. All fires in the test were extinguished under system activation and there was no reignition. 소형선박의 기관실을 상사한 모형실에서 분말소화설비의 개발을 위한 화재시험을 수행하였다. 화재시험 이 수행된 모형실은 2.9m3, 4.5m3, 8m3 3종류였으며 각 모형실에는 개구부와 송풍용 팬이 설치되었다. 경유를 소화모형의 연료로 사용하였다. 또한 소화약제 방출용 노즐은 천장에서는 하향으로 벽 또는 벽의 모서리에서는 수평으로 분사되도록 설치하였다. 개발제품은 모든 소화모형을 분말소화약제 방출 중에 소 화하였으며 소화 후 재발화가 없었다.

주가지수선물과 주가지수의 가격발견기능에 관한 실증연구 : 공적분과 오차수정모형

본 연구에서는 공적분과 오차수정모형을 사용하여 주가지수선물시장과 주식시장의 가격발견기능에 관한 연구를 하였다. 시간의 경과에 따라 가격발견기능의 변화 유무를 살펴보고 잔존만기에 따른 선도관계를 살펴봄으로써 차익거래 유무에 따른 가격발견기능의 변화 또한 간접적으로 살펴보게 된다. 결과적으로 선물시장과 현물시장은 공적분 관계를 보이고 있었고 선물시장은 현물시장을 35분 선도하고 있었다. 그러나, 현물시장의 선물시장에 대한 선도효과는 나타나지 않았다. 선물시장이 성숙되어감에 따라 주가지수 선물시장의 주식시장과의 선도시차 시간은 줄어들고 영향력은 강해지는 것으로 나타났다. 잔존만기에 따른 선도시차관계의 변화연구에서는 특정한 형태를 발견할 수 없었다. 이러한 결과는 차익거래에 대한 시장의 힘이 가격발견기능에 영향을 끼치지 못함을 말해준다.

This study aimed to analyze the selection criteria and priority settings for solid culture medium used in hydroponic crop production in farm households. Expert brain storming was carried out to extract solid culture medium selection criteria for hydroponic farming. As a result, 3 criteria of economy (cost), productivity, and environment, and 9 factors were extracted. A questionnaire survey of hydroponic farm households was conducted in Gyeonggi, Gangwon, and Chooncheong provinces. AHP analysis of the hydroponic solid culture medium selection criteria identified productivity as the most important criterion, chosen by 58.7% of the respondents, followed by economy (28.4%) and environment (12.9%). The 9 factors were rated by the respondents in the following decreasing order of importance: 1, crop yield (28.3%); 2, pest occurrence (18.5%); 3, maintenance/management costs (12.0%); 4, convenience of maintenance/management (13.4%); 5, initial investment cost (11.6%); 6, material energy consumption (6.5%); 7, waste recyclability (4.0%); 8, waste disposal costs (3.4%); and 9 environmental emissions (1.81%). These results imply that hydroponic farm households consider cultivation-related quality factors more important than economic factors, such as price of culture medium or installation cost.

Conjugation of antibodies and gold nanoparticles has been applied for drug delivery, gene transfer, clinic diagnosis and environmental analysis. Here in, we fabricated a lateral flow immunoassay that is a general method for detection of infections. Different sized gold nanoparticles ranging from 34 to 138 nm were synthesized and then conjugated with antibodies (Hepatitis B). We focused on conjugation efficiency between antibodies and gold nanoparticles with different sizes. Conjugation was optimized at different pH values and concentrations of antibodies by UV-vis spectroscopy. The optimized pH and concentration were 7 and 3 μg, respectively. Among different sized gold nanoparticles, the 43 nm gold nanoparticle-based lateral flow immunoassay showed the greatest sensitive performance for detection of Hepatitis B virus. Our later flow immunoassay based on well-controlled gold nanoparticles could be applicable for many other biological and chemical analytes.
