For the application of photo-detector as active layer, we have studied how to deposit SiGe thin film using an independent Si target and Ge target, respectively. Both targets were synthesized by purity of 99.999%. Plasma generators were generated by radio frequency (rf, 13.56 MHz) and direct current (dc) power. When Ge and Si targets were sputtered by dc and rf power, respectively, we could observe the growth of highly crystalline Ge thin film at the temperature of $400^{\circ}C$ from the result of raman spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction method. However, SiGe thin film did not deposit above method. Inversely, we changed target position like that Ge and Si targets were sputtered by rf and dc power, respectively. Although Ge crystalline growth without Si target sputtering deteriorated considerably, the growth of SiGe thin film was observed with increase of Si dc power. SiGe thin film was evaluated as microcrystalline phase which included (111) and (220) plane by X-ray diffraction method.
불소 실리콘/실리콘 고무의 장기 열 노화 및 내유성에 대한 블렌드 비율의 영향

본 연구에서는 불소 실리콘 고무(FVMQ)와 실리콘 고무(VMQ)를 블렌드 비율에 따라 혼합하여 제조하고 가공성 및 상용성, 영구 압축 줄음률, 장기 내열성, 내유성을 종합적으로 평가하였다. 무빙 다이 레오미터와 무니 점도계 측정을 통해 가교 시스템을 확인하였으며, VMQ 함량이 증가할수록 가공성이 향상되었다. 또한, 주사전자현미경을 통해 FVMQ와 VMQ의 상용성을 확인하였다. FVMQ의 비율이 증가할수록 파단신율이 증가하였으며, 내유성은 시험유의 종류와 FVMQ/VMQ의 블렌드 비율에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이 연구의 결과는 장기적인 열노화 및 내유성을 위한 FVMQ/VMQ 제품 개발 및 응용에 적용 가능할 것으로 기대된다. In this study, fluorosilicone rubber (FVMQ) and silicone rubber (VMQ) blends were prepared depending on the blend ratio. The processability and compatibility, compression set, long-term heat resistance, and oil resistance of the blends were comprehensively evaluated. It was confirmed to have a similar crosslinking system and improve the processability of the blend with increasing ratio of VMQ by the moving-die rheometer and Mooney viscometer measurements. In addition, the compatibility of FVMQ and VMQ was found by using scanning electron microscopy. As the ratio of FVMQ increased, the elongation at break increased, and the oil resistance was affected by the correlation between the type of the test oil and blend ratio of FVMQ/VMQ. Therefore, the results of this study are applicable to the development and application of FVMQ/VMQ products for long-term thermal aging and oil resistance.

Recently environmental pollution at sea becomes serious, so every governmental organization makes its effort to solve this problem Combustible ocean wastes as of ropes, fishing nets, and tires are usually highly polymerized compound materials. The problem of ocean waste treatment can be solved by using the pyrolysis method. Pyrolysis characteristics of ocean waste was examined to get the basic data for the production system of fuel from the ocean waste. Thermogravimetric experiment showed that residual mass rate decreases as the velocity of temperature-rising becomes lower. The pyrolysis of waste rope and fishing net occurs at 300~450℃ and the waste tire does at 350~450℃. Pyrolysis time is estimated about 15 to 20 minutes in the temperature range when lively act of pyrolysis temperature reached.
면역억제 치료 후 Darbapoetin에 반응한 진성 적혈구 무형성증

항 EPO 항체에 의한 PRCA는 매우 드물지만 적절한 치료를 하지 않으면 지속적인 적혈구 수혈이 필요하게 되므로 문제가 된다. PRCA가 진단되면 ESA 투여를 중단하고 면역억제 치료를 하는 것이 필요하다. 특히 항 EPO 항체는 모든 종류의 ESA 제제와 교차반응을 하므로, 어떤 ESA 제제로도 교체 투여하지 않아야 한다. 국내에서는 3예의 증례가 보고되었는데, 면역억제 치료를 시행하였으나 모든 예에서 치료에 성공하지 못하였다. 저자들은 EPO-α를 피하 주사하던 환자에서 발생한 PRCA를 면역억제 치료 후에 darbepoetin-α로 교체 투여하여 성공적으로 치료한 예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고한다. Patients with erythropoiesis-stimulating agent (ESA)-induced pure red cell aplasia (PRCA) should not routinely be switched to an alternative ESA or to darbepoetin-α because anti-erythropoietin (anti-EPO) antibodies cross-react with all kinds of recombinant ESAs. We present a case of ESA-induced PRCA in a 69-year-old man on hemodialysis whose anemia improved with reintroduction of darbepoetin-α following immunosuppressive therapy. The patient developed severe anemia after 15 months of subcutaneous administration of erythropoietin-α. After the diagnosis of PRCA, erythropoietin-α was discontinued and immunosuppressive therapy with a combination of prednisolone and oral cyclophosphamide was initiated. After 4 months of immunosuppressive therapy, the anti-EPO antibody titer was markedly decreased; however, esophageal candidiasis developed. Additional therapy with cyclosporine alone instead of prednisone and cyclophosphamide was performed, and anti-EPO antibody was subsequently not detected. Darbepoetin-α was then reintroduced, and the patient`s anemia improved without red cell transfusion. In conclusion, ESA-induced PRCA was successfully treated with reintroduction of darbepoetin-α following immunosuppressive therapy. (Korean J Med 2013; 84:742-746)
부틸아크릴레이트(BA)/메틸메타아크릴레이트(MMA) 공중합체의 제조 및 이들과 Poly(lactic acid) 블렌드의 열적, 기계적 성질

Poly(lactic acid)(PLA)는 여러 가지 장점에도 불구하고 일반적으로 낮은 유연성의 단점을 가진다. 이런 물성을 보완하기 위해 n-butyl acrylate(BA)와 methyl methacrylate(MMA)를 함량별로 poly(BA-co-MMA)를 현탁중합으로 제조하였다. 함량에 따라 제조된 poly(BA-co-MMA)의 구조, 젤 함량, 분자량, 열적 성질을 분석하였다. 그리고 PLA/poly(BA-co-MMA) 50 wt%/50 wt% 블렌드를 동적 점탄성 분석, 용융흐름지수, 인장 시험, 주사 전자 현미경을 통해 열적, 기계적 성질, 용융 흐름, 모폴로지를 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 BA의 함량이 40~60%의 poly(BA-co-MMA)를 PLA와 블렌드 시 PLA의 낮은 유연성에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 보여진다. Despite the several advantages, low flexibility and high brittleness in poly(actic acid) (PLA) are generally recognized as disadvantages. In order to improve these properties, poly(BA-co-MMA) with different monomer ratio was prepared by suspension polymerization. The effect of the monomer ratio on the structure, gel content, molecular weight, and thermal property of poly(BA-co-MMA) was investigated. And thermal, mechanical, melt flow, and morphology of PLA/poly(BA-co-MMA) 50 wt%/50 wt% blend were investigated by dynamic mechanical anaysis (DMA), melt flow index (MFI), tensile tests, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). In this study, the introduction of poly(BA-co-MMA) with BA content of 40~60% increased the flexibility of PLA.

방골성 지방종은 골막에 인접하여 발생하는 양성 지방종의 일종으로 전체 지방종의 약 0.3% 이하를 차지하는 매우 드문 종양이다. 저자들은 52세 남자 환자의 좌측 경골에 발생한 과골증을 동반한 방골성 지방종 1례를 치험하였다. 이에 방골성 지방종 1례에 대한 증례 보고와 임상적 소견을 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. The parosteal lipoma is a very rare benign neoplasm of adipose tissue having an intimate relationship to the periosteum. The parosteal lipomas comprise only 0.3% of all lipomas. We have experienced a parosteal lipoma with hyperostosis of the left tibia, in 52 years old male. We report a case of parosteal lipoma and its clinical feature with review of the literature.
