한국 태권도의 올림픽 금메달 획득 실패 원인과 방안 탐색

요약본 연구의 목적은 한국의 올림픽 금메달 획득 실패 원인 도출 및 실천적 해결방안을 모색하고자 한다. 의도적 표집 방법으로 올림픽 출전 경험이 있는 지도자와 선수 6명을 연구참여자로 선정하여 심층 면담을 진행하였고, 이들의 경험적 근거를 기반으로 도출한 결론은 다음과 같다. 한국의 금메달 획득 실패 원인은 첫째, 해외 교류 및 신예 선수에 대한 정보력 부족으로 나타났다. 둘째, 경기력 상향 평준화로 나타났다. 셋째, 국가대표 선수단 운영방식에 대한 문제 제기로 나타났다. 이를 해결하기 위한 방안으로는 첫째, 해외선수단 훈련방법 교류가 필요하다. 둘째, 창의력 개발을 위한 훈련 환경이 조성되어야 한다. 셋째, 선수 및 지도자를 위한 체계적인 장‧단기 투자가 요구된다. 이를 바탕으로 후속 연구에서는 본 연구에서 제시한 방안의 시행 또는 현장에서 적용 가능한 세부적인 지침서 등으로 개발되어 과거의 명예를 되찾을 수 있는 연구가 이루어져야 한다. AbstractThe purpose of this study is to draw the causes for Korean Taekwondo’s failure in winning a gold medal in the Olympics, and also to seek for the practical solution measures. This study conducted in-depth interviews by selecting six coaches and athletes with experiences in entering the Olympics as research participants through the purposive sampling method, and the conclusions drawn based on their experiential grounds are as follows. In the causes for Korea’s failure in winning a gold medal, first, it was lacking in overseas exchange and information for rookie athletes. Second, it was shown as the upward standardization of athletic performance. Third, the method of operating the national team was raised as a problem. As the measures for solving those problems, first, it would be necessary to exchange the training methods with overseas teams. Second, the training environment for developing creativity should be established. Third, the systematic long/short-term investment for both athletes and coaches is required. Based on the measures presented by this study, the follow-up researches should carry out the measures or develop more detailed guideline that can be applied in the field, which could be led to retrieving honor of the past.
Inhibition of Autolysis by Lipase LipA in Streptococcus pneumoniae Sepsis

More than 50% of sepsis cases are associated with pneumonia. Sepsis is caused by infiltration of bacteria into the blood via inflammation, which is triggered by the release of cell wall components following lysis. However, the regulatory mechanism of lysis during infection is not well defined. Mice were infected with Streptococcus pneumoniae D39 wild-type (WT) and lipase mutant (∆lipA) intranasally (pneumonia model) or intraperitoneally (sepsis model), and survival rate and pneumococcal colonization were determined. LipA and autolysin (LytA) levels were determined by qPCR and western blotting. S. pneumoniae Spd_1447 in the D39 (type 2) strain was identified as a lipase (LipA). In the sepsis model, but not in the pneumonia model, mice infected with the ∆lipA displayed higher mortality rates than did the D39 WT-infected mice. Treatment of pneumococci with serum induced LipA expres-sion at both the mRNA and protein levels. In the presence of serum, the ∆lipA displayed faster lysis rates and higher LytA expression than the WT, both in vitro and in vivo. These results indicate that a pneumococcal lipase (LipA) represses autolysis via inhibition of LytA in a sepsis model.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting the quality of life of family caregivers of patients with Parkinson disease in Korea. Methods: A total of 162 family caregivers of patients with Parkinson disease who were visiting the D hospital in B city completed questionnaires, including general and disease-specific characteristics, family burden, patient-caregiver relationship satisfaction, family support and quality of life. Data were analyzed with t-test, ANOVA with Scheffétest, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 23.0. Results: The average score of the quality of life was 85.54±17.74 (range: 26~130) among family caregivers of patients with Parkinson disease. Stepwise multiple regression analysis revealed that fifty percent of the quality of life was explained by family support, family burden, and patient-caregiver relationship satisfaction. Conclusion: Family support, family burden, and patient-caregiver relationship satisfaction were identified as factors affecting the quality of life of family caregivers of patients with Parkinson disease. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a program to enhance family support and reduce family burden to improve the quality of life of family members caring for patients with Parkinson disease.

This study proposes a battery charger with a wide range of output voltages for a personal mobility device (PMD). PMD is a means of transportation with low speed for a single person. It uses electricity as a power source for short-distance travel. It exhibits the advantage of low purchase and maintenance costs. However, battery voltage differs depending on the type of PMD, and thus, PMD demonstrates the disadvantage of requiring multiple battery chargers for consumers who use multiple types of PMD. To overcome this disadvantage, this study presents a battery charger with a wide range of output voltages for PMD. The proposed battery charger is suitable for different types of PMD; hence, the commercial availability of PMD can be improved. The effectiveness of the proposed battery charger with a wide range of output voltages for PMD is verified through simulation and experimental results.
RFID/USN 기반 유비쿼터스 프로세스 통합 아키텍처

As many enterprises recently implement ubiquitous environments, several business architectures have been proposed for effectively processing real-time events in ubiquitous enterprise environment. Since such distributed enterprise environments generally include distributed and heterogeneous events from legacy information systems as well as real-time events from RFID and USN, it is necessary to develop an effective way of integrating those events into business process.. In this paper, we present a ubiquitous process integration architecture in which a variety of computing and communication devices such as RFID/USN and mobile devices can participate. In addition, we introduce the design and implementation of a prototype system which supports ubiquitous process execution and monitoring based on the proposed architecture. 최근 많은 기업들이 유비쿼터스 환경을 구축함에 따라, 실시간 이벤트를 효과적으로 처리하기위한 다양한 비즈니스 아키텍처를 제시하고 있다. 기업에서는 RFID/USN뿐만 아니라, 기존의 레거시시스템으로부터 다양한 이질적 이벤트들이 분산 환경에서 발생되고 있기 때문에, 이들을 기업의 비즈니스 프로세스로 통합하기 위한 효과적인 방법이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 RFID/USN, 모바일장비 등 다양한 정보 기기 및 컴퓨팅 장비들이 참여하는 유비쿼터스 프로세스 통합 아키텍처를 제시한다. 나아가 RFID/USN 및 정보시스템을 기반으로 유비쿼터스 프로세스 실행 및 모니터링 환경을설계하고 구현한 시스템을 소개한다.
아두이노를 이용한 태양광 에너지측정 시스템 개발 및 구현

본 논문은 아두이노를 이용한 태양광 에너지 측정 시스템 개발 및 구현을 제안한다. 최근 급격한 환경오염으로 인해 지구온난화가가속되고 있으며, 이를 해결하기 위한 친환경 에너지에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 특히, 태양광 에너지는 발전 과정에서생태계에 미치는 영향을 최소화할 수 있지만, 기후와 기상 조건의 의존성이 높아 흐린 날, 밤 등에는 에너지 발전량이 감소하므로정확하게 파악하기 어렵다는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서 제안하는 태양광 에너지 측정 시스템은 전압 및 전류 센서를 통해실시간으로 태양광 에너지 발전량을 측정할 수 있으며, 측정된 데이터는 MicroSD 카드에 저장할 수 있다. 또한, 저장된 데이터를통해 태양광 에너지 발전량 추세 파악 및 고장 진단도 가능하며, 제안하는 시스템은 여러 분야에서 활용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는제안하는 시스템의 구조, 연결 방법, 동작 원리에 대해 설명하고, 시스템의 타당성은 실험을 통해 검증한다. This paper proposes development and implementation of solar energy measurement system using arduino. Recently, global warming is accelerating due to rapid environmental pollution, and research on eco-friendlyenergy to solve this problem is actively being conducted. In particular, solar energy can minimize the impact onthe ecosystem during the power generation process, however, it is difficult to accurately measure the amount ofenergy generated due to weather dependency. The proposed solar energy measurement system measures solarenergy in real time via voltage and current sensors, stores data on a MicroSD card. Additionally, the stored datacan be used to identify solar energy power generation trends and monitor faults of solar panel, and the proposedsystem can be utilized in various fields. This paper explains the structure of solar energy measurement system,connection method, and operating principle of the proposed system, and validates the system throughexperiments.
