The majority of existing falling recognition techniques provide service by recognizing only that the falling occurred. However, it is important to recognize not only the occurrence of falling but also the situation before and after the falling, as well as the location of the falling. In this paper, we design and propose the falling notification service system to recognize and provide service. This system uses the acceleration sensor of the smartphone to recognize the occurrence of a falling and the situation before and after the falling. In order to check the location of falling, GPS sensor data is used in the Google Map API to map to the map. Also, a crosswalk map converted into grid-based coordinates based on the longitude and latitude of the crosswalk is stored, and the locations before and after falling are mapped. In order to reduce the connection speed and server overload for real-time data processing, fog computing and cloud computing are designed to be distributed processing.

The berries of Schisandra chinensis (Schisandra fructus) are given the name Omiza in Korean (五味子), which translates as “five flavor fruit" because they possess all five basic flavors in Korean traditional herbal medicine: salty, sweet, sour, pungent (spicy), and bitter. It is used as a remedy for many ailments: to resist infections, increase skin health, and cure insomnia, coughing, and thirst. This study was designed to investigate the effects of Schisandra fructus butanol fraction (SFB) on serum lipid levels in hyperlipidemic mice. In this experiment, effects on total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, and triglyceride in serum were measured. In our results, SFB did not affect weight gain in hyperlipidemic mice. Oral administration of SFB lowered levels of total cholesterol and triglyceride, which were elevated by induction of hyperlipidemia. Finally, administration of SFB regulated changes in gene expression which were related to cell growth and differentiation.
IP-RFID를 활용한 연안해상교통관제시스템에 관한 연구

현재 우리나라의 연안해상교통관제는 연안해역의 관제, 수색 및 구조지원, 선박통행관제 수단을 제공하고 하기 위해 AIS(Automatic Identification System)와 레이더 시스템을 활용하고 있다. 하지만 AIS의 경우 고가의 장비로 소형선박에 설치가 용이하지 않은 실정이며 레이더를 활용한 소형선박 관제 시 Target Swapping 현상과 거리와 크기에 의한 탐지성능 변화 등의 문제점으로 소형선박의 위치를 제대로 파악하지 못하여 사고발생의 큰 비중을 차지하고 있어 방지대책이 필요한 실정이다. 이러한 문제를 해결할 수 있는 방안으로서 본 연구에서는 IP-RFID 기술을 활용한 연안해상교통관제시스템의 적용방안을 제시하고자 한다.
2,4,6-trimethylphenol 화합물에 대한 C-알킬화 versus O-알킬화반응연구

Treatment of 2,4,6-trimethylphenol with chloromethyl methyl sulfide in the presence of sodium lead to the corresponding ortho, para C-alkylation and O-alkylation products. The ratio of the base used affects the yields of the ortho C-alkylation product. As the temperature was increased, less the O=alkylation products were obtained.
Dynamic hydrophobicity of heterogeneous pillared surfaces at the nano-scale

In this study, the static and dynamic behaviors of nano-scale water droplets on heterogeneous surfaces were investigated using moleculardynamics simulations. The surface consisted of a flat plate and pillar structures. The surface was designed with four pillar heights andthree pillar characteristic energies. Simulations were first run so that the water droplet reached the static equilibrium state. Once the staticwater droplets were in Cassie-Baxter state, increasing the pillar height had very little effect on the contact angle. Droplets on the surfacewith the strongest pillar characteristic energy never reached the Cassie-Baxter state and contact angles tended to decrease with increasingpillar height. Then five forces were applied to the water droplets parallel to the surface to observe the dynamic behavior of the droplets. Then, the effect of the pillar characteristic energy on the behavior of the dynamic water droplet was discussed using the contact anglehysteresis ( cosqRe - cosqAd ) as the pillar height and the magnitude of the applied force varied. When compared to the homogeneouscases, it was found that except at the lowest pillar height all of the lower pillar characteristic energy cases were hydrophobic and did notdepend much on pillar height or magnitude of force. Whereas the higher pillar characteristic energy cases were generally hydrophilic andthe hydrophobicity depended greatly on the magnitude of the force.

New C60 fullerenes derivatives [G1]-C60 (1) and [G2]-C60 (2) comprising of phenylenevinylene bridges and phenylquinoline peripheral surface groups were synthesized by 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction of fullerene C60 with azomethine ylide in situ generated from [Gx]-CHO dendrons (x = 1 and 2) and sarcosine.
