공간적 오브제로서 의자디자인에 나타난 특성에 관한 연구 - 덴마크 디자이너 아르네 야콥센과 베르너 팬톤의 작품을 중심으로 -

(Background and Goal) Among various objets, chair design is influenced by spatial size, shape and characteristics of consumers. Chair in the space is usually affected by consumers, and sometimes it causes their behaviors; through these, various communication happens. In other words, chair is an essential factor that composes space, and it plays a medium between human and space as objet. Therefore, prospecting chair design in stance of space design is worthy enough to implement. (Research Method) In this research, we try to analysis chair design of Arne Emil Jacobsen and Verner Panton in aspect of space objet among numerous sorts of chairs. First of all, we considered traits and developed background of modern design in Demark and arranged concepts about relationship between space and objet as theoretical contemplation. For the next, we looked into traits through 8 pieces of chair design arts of Arne Emil Jacobsen and Verner Panton. Finally, we analyzed and classified traits of chair design of two maestros by their functions of shape, material, end and space, and we drew a conclusion. (Result) As chair design of Arne Emil Jacobsen and Verner Panton was analyzed in aspect of space objet, chair design of Arne Emil Jacobsen expressed organic forms in metaphorical way, and pursued simplicity to the exclusion of unnecessary decorations. Additionally, it pursued humorous and flexible formativeness as an united body forming back and seat together. For materials and end, minimizing materials, production process, and integrating new technology of plywood molding method were pursued. For spatial function, stacking functions which are light and able to store helped to get comfortable movement and minimize space, and it offered comfort by shaping personal space wrapping people`s body. Additionally, it could be transformed in various shape, and it made us to use it in multiple ways according to necessity of space. Chair design of Verner Panton pursued dynamic shapes and abstract curves following tendency of pop arts. They used various materials such as synthetic resins and metal rather than timber which were found by experiments using new materials, and prefer primary color with high chroma. For spatial functions, they offered various options and variables to positions and locations, and made a border between space and chair ambiguous. Also, they pursued light and practical design. (Conclusion) Finally, we contemplated functions in space, and analyzed examples or arts relevant to chair design as space objet. As space objet, we could figure out chair was a device factor which were fitting on aim of space, and it induced users to participate, and it was functionally and physically objet. In the future, we hopefully expect that this article can be used as a baseline data for research about space, chair, and compatibility between space and human`s behaviour based on this result.

우리나라는 급격한 경제발달과 함께 사회 환경이 급속이 변화하였고 의학기술의 발전에 따른 평균수명의 연장으로 노인인구가 차지하는 비율이 증가하고 있다. 우리나라에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 하나의 방안으로 노인에게 각종 보호와 지원을 받을 수 있도록 하는 노인주간보호 사업을 실시하고 있다. 본 연구는 노인주간보호시설의 노인 복지환경 조성 및 시설의 고급화와 바람직한 공간으로 그 기능을 충족시킬 수 있도록 기존 시설의 실내공간을 파악하고 문제점을 규명해 개선해야 할 부분을 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 현재 운영되고 있는 시설가운데 서울시 에 위치한 규모가 비슷한 4곳을 선정하여 운영자와의 인터뷰와 체크리스트를 통한 관찰조사로 평가 분석하였다. 조사대상 시설의 현황 분석 결과 급식공간과 지원공간은 비교적 잘 갖추어져 있었다. 위생적으로 취사 및 조리를 할 수 있는 설비와 노인들의 동선에 용이하였으며 응급호출 시스템이 대부분 잘 갖추어져 있었다. 그러나 이동공간은 많은 문제점이 발견되어 개선이 가장 시급하다. 복도의 폭이 좁아 이동에 불편함을 주며 출입구와 문턱에 높이차이가 크고 바닥표면 또한 미끄럽고 딱딱하여 위험해 보였다. 이상과 같이 현재 운영되고 있는 노인주간보호시설은 노인들의 공간으로의 개선이 많은 부분 필요하다. 만성질환노인 치매노인 허약노인 등 다양한 질병을 가지고 있는 노인들을 고려한 종합적인 시설 으로의 발전을 위하여 세심한 건축적 배려와 법적기준의 강화가 절실히 요구된다. The social condition has been rapidly changed with the fast economic development in our country the ratio of senior citizens in population structure has increased because of expansion of average life span caused by the development of medical technology. Our country has been implementing day care service centers for senior citizens to make them get special care and support. This study figures out the interior space of existing centers investigates the problems and makes suggests for improvement in order to create a welfare condition and high qualification of day care service centers for seniors and also to satisfy that function. Selecting 4 small-sized places located in Seoul among centers managed now this study evaluates and analyzes them by an observation method through interviews with managers and checklists. According to the result of real condition on the surveyed centers feeding space and support space are comparatively well-equipped. According to our research the facility for culinary cooking is placed to reduce senior citizens' movements and emergency calling system is largely well equipped. In addition the tiles on the ground are well selected not to be slippery. However in the space for movement a lot of problems are revealed so there is an urgent needs to solve them. The width of corridors is narrow which makes the movement inconvenient differences in height of entrances and thresholds are big and the surface of the ground look dangerous because it is slippery and hard. Likewise existing day care service centers for senior citizens requires a lot of improvements as a special space for them. For the development toward more comprehensive centers considering seniors with chronic disease seniors with Alzheimer's disease seniors with feeble health more careful architectural consideration and reinforcement of legal standards are urgently needed.

최근 그린IT가 주요 사업으로 급부상하면서 다양한 분야에서 소비전력 저감 관련 연구가 활발히 진행 중이다. 특히, 멀티미디어서비스 발전에 따라 `국내 셋톱박스가 2,000만대 이상 보급되었으나 미사용 대기시간에도 상당한 양의 전력을 소비하여 국가 전력 수급에 많은 영향을 주고 있어 이에 대한 해결방안이 시급히 요구되고 있는 상황이다. 방송 서비스 사업자는 방송 콘텐츠의 활용성 증대, H/W 교체 주기 연장 및 소비전력 저감 등의 이점으로 인하여 저전력 모드를 지원하는 셋톱박스에 가상화 서비스 제공 기술을 적용하기 위한 방법을 또한 모색하고 있다. 본 논문은 셋톱박스의 발전 방향이 하이브리드화, 고기능/복합화 함으로써 소비전력이 더욱 증가하고 있으므로 셋톱박스의 소비전력 저감을 보장하고, 가상화 서비스를 제공하기 위한 고려사항과 에너지 효율성을 보장하는 방법을 제공한다.
