The purpose of this study is to comparatively analyze the effects of ankle strength exercise and functional electrical stimulation on ability balance control and gait of stroke patients. The results of the study will be used as basic data for help in independent life of stroke patients. Subject person of this study is 20 stroke patients, sex ratio was 10 men, 10 women. Experimental group (5 men, 5 woman) ran parallel ankle strength exercise and functional electric stimulation treatment, and control group (5 men, 5 woman) ran parallel functional electric stimulation treatment and exercise treatment. Measured balance ability and walking speed, ankle angle after 8 weeks experiment 3 inning a week. The results were as follows; 1. Weight bearing rate by Berg balance scale and BPM increased to keep in mind in experimental grooup and control group, and change that position sway by BPM, sway path, sway area, the all sway speeds displayed decrease that keep in mind, and are less relatively in control group was seen. And difference of change amount between two groups displayed statistically significant. It means that this improved two groups total balance ability but ankle strength exercise and same time of functional electric stimulation treatment are more effect. 2. Change of walking speed and ankle joint angle displayed decrease that two groups keep in mind after all experiments in TUG that display walking speed in experimental group and control group. But, ankle joint angle both was no difference that two groups keep in mind after and experiment. And difference that keep in mind in walking speed too as result that significant difference of change amount of two groups appeared. When applied running parallel ankle strength exercise and functional electric stimulation treatment in stroke patients, both experimental group and control group appeared that balance and ability to walk are increased. Also, was expose that difference that keep in mind between group as result that significant difference of change amount of two groups is. Can explain that this means that ankle strength exercise and same time of functional electric stimulation treatment were more effective in treatment of stroke patient.

Five-coordinated complex of Cu(Ⅱ) complex, [CuCl(1,10-phenanthroline)₂]·Cl·6H₂O·CH₃OH, was synthesized by adding an aqueous solution of Cu(Ⅱ) to a methanol solution of 1,10-phenanthroline. Its crystal structure was detemined by single crystal X-ray crystallography. Crystal data are are as fllow: [CuCl(phen)₂]·Cl·6H₂O·CH₃OH, monoclinic, space group C2/c (#15), a = 23.309(5), b = 30.270(6), c = 7.491(2) A, B = 97.83(2)˚, V = 5236 A³, Z = 8,2745 data with I >3σ(I) (R = 00.64, Rw = 0.087). In the crystal structure of ??, the Cu(Ⅱ)is five-coordianted with four nitrogen and one chlorine atom. The geometry around Cu(Ⅱ) is somewhat distorted trigonal bipyramid and Cu(Ⅱ) is locted nearly (0.0280 A˚) on the least-squares plane of the two nitrogen atoms and one chlorine atom.

Many European institutions and companies are developing ceramic filters which can substitute particulates and gas removal devices currently in use and which are believed to be the control devices of next generation. Because of their resistance to both chemical and thermal shocks, Ceramic filter system alone can remove particulates and gaseous air pollutants simultaneously without compulsory cooling systems, thus reducing installation and operating cost significantly. In this research, there is developed and tested, which is catalyst impregnated ceramic filters applicable to simultaneous removal of particulates and gaseous air pollutants. Emission standards of air pollutants are getting stringent and the market share of air pollutants control devices in Korea is projected up to 800 billion won by the year 2002 and low density ceramic filter system can substitute electrostatic precipitators and conventional bag filter systems significantly. catalyst doped ceramic filter were believed to be the most promising technology which can substitute particulates and gaseous pollutants removal devices in the near future.

We investigated the contamination of ground water in Kyungbuk region about 87 points by nitrate nitrogen(NO₃-N) concentration. The obtained results were as follows; 1. Nitrate nitrogen concentration is high showed 4.43㎎/ℓ for life used. The results seemed to contaminate because of excrement of men and livestock, decomposed animal and plant and chemical fertilizer. 2. Nitrate nitrogen concentration classified with about 11 region is high 14.9㎎/ℓ in storage tank.

The effect of oxidant on the electron-transfer reaction of rac- ?? and optically active oxidants were examined. The optical purities of the product for the oxidants were increased in the order of ?? < ?? ∼ ?? < ??. This observation suggests that stereoselective ionic association and electron transfer reaction between complexes are strongly dependent upon geometric structure, orientation and charge of the oxidants.
라세미-〔Co(N)6〕3+및 라세미-〔 Co(N)5(O)〕2+형 착물에 대한 d-주석산용액의 입체선택성에 관한 연구

Chromatographic behaviors of some bis(ethylenediamine) cobalt(Ⅲ) complexes have been investigated by using SP-Sephadex C-25 cation exchange resin with 0.2M sodium d-tartrate aqueous solution as eluent. Metal complexes ?? and ?? were resolved completely with sodium d-tartrate aqueous solution. However, other metal complexes ?? and ?? were resolved partially and mot resolved, respectively. ?? which have -CH₃ group blocked the formation of C₃ axis was resolved partially. It means that the formation of C₃ axis was influenced by replaced -CH₃ group. With the effects of -CH₃ group, hence, it was resolved partially and stereoselectivity of eluent was greater for the Λ-isomer than for the Δ-isomer. Tris-chelate complexes ?? and ?? which have only one C?? axis were resolved completely and stereoselectivity of eluent on these complexes was greater for the Λ-isomer than for the Δ-isomer. ?? which have -CH₃ group blocked the formation of C₃ axis was not resolved.
